We went to check out this park as a location to have a kids birthday party. There was nobody at the park on a weekday afternoon when we went there, and it was very quiet, with birds chirping and the wind rustling the leaves of the trees. There was plenty of street parking. My daughter thought that the climbing area, which accounts for the playground at this park, was amazing and asked me to take her back to this park with her friends. The drawbacks for a birthday party are that there is no restroom, even though there are 2 excellent shade structures, there is only a small circular table under each structure and no grills. So you would need to bring an extra table for laying out the food. Another drawback is that there is no additional playground equipment other than some swings and the climbing structure. There is also a large grassy area where one can play sports, although there is a bit of a slope. The park is also partially fenced. Overall the park was nice for a playdate or picnic with the kids.Dogs are allowed on leash. read more
