Dried leaves go unraked, cobwebs adorn most of the equipment, and unused basketball courts feel both brand-new and rusted. The playground sand is marked mostly with bird feet, but the occasional shoeprint shines through where the rain from a month ago flattened it out. It was their homes. Desolate and abandoned, sitting on the edge of suburbia where no one talks to each other or ever leaves their homes. Seriously, this place is kind of surreal. True, I've only been here about five times, but I've never seen more than one person visit out of the hours and hours I've put in here. If it weren't for the traffic noise, it would feel a bit like a Twilight Zone episode. Anyway, it's about average as far as parks go. There's a good-sized field for running and playing soccer. Twin basketball hoops stand, there is a fair playground with an impressive array of slides, monkey bars, suspension bridges, and sliding poles. But, as I noted before, nothing seems to be maintained. It's as if nature has taken over and no one can be bothered to do a simple sweep up. I assume this is because no one seems to ever come out here. Why put in the work, if no one is going to enjoy the scenery? It's funny considering how many other parks always seem so crowded here in Encinitas; why this private, suburban one never sees any use is beyond me. Still, it's because of that abandoned, unkept feel that keeps me from viewing this park as anything above three stars.

The foam makes a lot less of a mess with clothes and shoes. There are also really nice shades on the playgrounds to keep kiddos and parents cool. The whole area is well thought out. There are plenty of areas to picnic and a few bbq areas for people who want to use them. It was a random stop to come here as I was nearby, but I'll definitely come again and let my little one stretch his legs.

This Creekside Park has a lot of photos on the Google Maps Website. This Creekside Park is located on the Vista Village Drive Area. There is this large Apartment Complex located right behind this Creekside Park. Apartment I drove over to this Creekside Park with my car. To view these photos of this Creekside Park do a Google Search because this Creekside Park has a lot of photos of their park on Google Maps.com website. It's a very pretty park and there are fun things to do there. There are some long walkways that have a cement walking paths and there is green grass in the back. There is also a lake that has a lot of ducks swimming in this lake. I walked down to the bottom part of this Creekside Park and then I sat on the grass. I saw two ducks walk up to me , one was a pretty mallard (male) duck and the other duck was a brown tweed color (female) duck. These 2 ducks were a couple because I saw both of these cute ducks were sunbathing on this large rock together. These two ducks were looking for me to feed them bread. I heard these ducks are fed bread by the people who visit this Creekside Park. I sat in the grassy area then I watched this duck family I saw a group of ducks huddled together when they are in this lake swimming it is cute. Next time I will bring some old bread slices to feed these ducks with. At the very top of this Creekside Park in Vista Village Center. Their are 3 statues of horses that is a brown color. These horse statues is so cool and it represents this Creekside Park. Next time I will make sure I charge my Apple IPhone XR at home enough so my battery won't be dead, I can take a lot of photos of this Creekside Park. If you enjoy walking on trails and you own a dog, I recommend walking your dog on a leash on the walkways because the scenery at this Creekside Park is very beautiful and I had a good time just sitting down on the grassy area nearby the lake. Just be careful when you are walking towards these huge rocks I don't know why these large rocks are placed near by this lake. But I was walking on these rocks on Sunday, May 28, 2023 and these boots I was wearing was making my footing kind of slippery. There is no sign that tells their visitors to be careful when you walk on these large rocks. There should be a Sign nailed up that warns people to not walk on these large rocks. Or it would be nice to have a big sign posted up that tells people to DON'T WALK ON THESE LARGE ROCKS, DUE TO SAFETY REASONS. These Huge Rocks they look like Rocks from the Beach are placed inside the concrete this when I was trying to leave this Creekside Park to walk back to my car in the parking lot. There is only one way to exit out of this park and I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs with the railing to leave this Creekside Park to go back to my car in the parking lot and I wanted to drive back to my home. This is a really beautiful Creekside Park that is nearby the Frazier Farmers Market in the Vista Village Center Drive that has a Strip Mall with all these different Restaurants, Market, Starbuck's Coffee Shop and this Bigbee's Pub and Brewery. I also walked by Crunch Fitness Center that is located right next door to Frazier Farmers Market. I highly recommend this Creekside Park.

This is a nice play area for a couple hours to take the kids, do some exercise, or walk your pets.
