Some of you may recall that Party City stores across the country shut down and went out of business within the last two years. My wife and I happened to be in the area, so we decided to visit this store for nostalgia's sake, since we used to be big fans of Party City stores. Upon entering this store, the first thing I noticed was how fully stocked and well organized everything was from end to end and side to side. There was so much to see, so many colors of various types of merchandise and balloons everywhere. I grabbed a shopping cart and off we went. We walked every single aisle and were happy to see many of the same types of items we had purchased in the past when hosting numerous themed parties and school activities that required them. We added numerous items we wanted to use for our daughter's upcoming high school graduation and upcoming birthday. Sure, we could have possibly ordered these items on Amazon and saved a few cents, but I still like to touch and hold the items I wish to buy in my hands and see them up close for myself, instead of simply viewing everything on a computer screen and/or on my cell phone. Call me old-fashioned As we paid for our merchandise, the cashier explained that the reason this store and four other Party City stores still existed in Southern California was that they were independently owned. The bankruptcy of Party City recently forced all stores to close; however, independently owned stores were not impacted. This was a positive shopping experience, customer service was great and I am happy that Party City lives on.

During the holidays they have great deals/sales going on for up to 50%. Isn't that wonderful?? Employees are very nice, helpful and just simply great in every way. Store is big, clean and very easy to browse around and see what you can find. If you can't find something, they are right by your side to help you. Few days ago I walked in a little before closing time and was looking for a birthday card for my son who soon will be turning 30. Also got candles for him and to have extra in the house. This literally is a one stop store for all of your party needs! Don't go anywhere else and I am not getting no commission to speak so highly of this lovely, bright, beautiful store. Read other Yelp reviews, NOT the bad, negative ones.. Parking is shared with 4 other businesses. I don't know if they have a restroom or not. Thank you all!:-))

Shop is very clean, elegant, classy, and very lavish looking. Prices are very affordable to the quantity and the quality of the balloons. Iris, being the owner and very personable, helpful, full of creativity, imagination, professional.. took my order and gave me exactly what I have requested for my friends's son's 5th birthday party. Can't forget to mention that they have a 24 hour delivery service. I was hoping for them to also sell novelty items and flowers; but, they don't offer those products which is still ok. My friend's son was very happy with his birthday balloons and so was his mom and the rest of their guests. I was there a week ago. Don't look any further, call or go in person and see Iris with a beautiful personality. They do it all, from custom arrangements to full blown decor. It is truly a hidden gem. Established in 2014. Great pricing, very efficient, and she will make any occasion a very memorable one for you, me, them and US! Parking is tight, metered and street parking only.

Unfortunately, they filled it with way more air than it should've had and it ended up ruined. At first I thought maybe it was because it wasn't their balloon, but even the balloons I purchased from them were overfilled. Two or three regular round balloons actually popped before I even made it home. It feels like they're just not careful with how much air they put in, and that's really disappointing, especially when you're getting things ready for a special occasion. I definitely won't be going back and will be looking for another spot next time.

It was cute and at a great price, which was amazing. I think this store deserves more recognition; the staff was nice and helpful. Helped me with my needs and double checked my items. Can't ask for better customer service.

I am so glad I got to see Nifty Balloons in action for a birthday party I attended this past weekend at the Cerritos Public Library. The quality in the balloons they created were excellent! And the best part is ... all the kids and adults enjoyed their talent as well. They made wearable balloons, which I've never seen before and thought it was genius! For example, they had a TMNT shell that a boy can wear like a backpack to look like a real Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle! Totally awesome, dude! :) They even made a huge minion from Despicable Me, as well as a Captain America shield! And even an Olaf balloon from the movie, Frozen. It was so fascinating!! And, they made swords such as Goofy and balloons you can wear on your head over a balloon-covered headband. Some of the girls in the party had Hello Kitty headband balloons, and Elsa and Anna from Frozen. And, by the way, they hand paint the eyes... totally cute! I highly recommend Nifty Balloons for your next event!

Maya was very patient and sweet as I changed the date 3 times. They showed up 2.5 hrs prior to the party to set up everything, they were ready right in time. They provided the decorations (super cute and custom made for the theme, my daughter's name and age) tables, chairs, canopy with tables for the presents, snacks, beverages (all custom labeled) cute center pieces for the table, jumper, party bags, and Music system with kid friendly music provided. Maya stayed the entire 3 hrs to man the stations. Everything was done with a smile, very professional and great with the kids. She and her crew even cleaned up nicely. Everyone at the party loved their services, she even got a hug from my father-in-law, and that man is hard to impress!!!!! Worth it
