I was truly impressed with this company! Their creations were intricate, unique and looked like toys rather than balloons! They're friendly and fun demeanor added to the kids party. They had head bands available in case the kids didn't want to wear the balloons on their hands. Shana asked me what my son liked and I gave her the option of trains and dogs expecting her to make a dog but she asked me whether he liked Thomas the train and went on to make a gorgeous and accurate version of Thomas! From PJ Masks characters to Elmo, they have a great selection of characters up their sleeve rather than the regular sword and balloon animals you get with other companies. read more

Nifty Balloons are an excellent addition to any party and they stand out from other balloon artists I've seen. I am so glad I got to see Nifty Balloons in action for a birthday party I attended this past weekend at the Cerritos Public Library. The quality in the balloons they created were excellent! And the best part is ... all the kids and adults enjoyed their talent as well. They made wearable balloons, which I've never seen before and thought it was genius! For example, they had a TMNT shell that a boy can wear like a backpack to look like a real Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle! Totally awesome, dude! :) They even made a huge minion from Despicable Me, as well as a Captain America shield! And even an Olaf balloon from the movie, Frozen. It was so fascinating!! And, they made swords such as Goofy and balloons you can wear on your head over a balloon-covered headband. Some of the girls in the party had Hello Kitty headband balloons, and Elsa and Anna from Frozen. And, by the way, they hand paint the eyes... totally cute! I highly recommend Nifty Balloons for your next event! read more

We were fortunate to experience the magic of Nifty Balloons at the grand opening celebration of the Disney Store at the Century City Mall. Normally I bypass long lines for kid stuff, but the balloon creations I saw kids walking away with were so impressive and varied that I decided it had to be done. It was a super hot day and the balloon table was in direct sunlight - I was impressed at how the balloon artists just kept smiling and chatting and working away. Child decided she wanted a Princess Leia headband. I was a bit skeptical because usually people don't translate well into balloons, but these guys really have their art down. The woman drew the faces, and they were all super cute and anime style. Child loved her Princess Leia headband and people kept stopping to compliment her on it. The other thing that impressed me was that the next day, the balloon headband looked just as good with no noticeable shrinking. Would definitely consider booking these guys for a birthday party or other special event. read more

I was lucky enough to see them in action during a banquet for at-risk youth. I can not stress how AMAZED I was to see them at work. They created what I would consider masterpieces out of balloons. The theme was Circus at the banquet and the life size SRONG MAN, ELEPHANT & CLOWN left me in aww of their craft. I honestly have never seen balloon art in this way. They were very professional and personable. They engaged well with the youth and the adults. They had people laughing at their designs and wanting some of their creations to show off. They made very lovely head pieces for the girls to wear and provided some of the boys with a balloon creation of their liking. I immediately got their card and they will hear from me soon as I am planning an event. I will most DEFINITELY recommend them. I saw first hand what they could create out of balloons and they are a must have for any party. read more

I literally could talk about the greatness of Nifty Balloons for years. They were such a great addition to a corporate event I threw in Long Beach. Shana was an absolute dream to work with and she was also just the nicest. The balloons they created were perfect for my Margaritaville themed party...pineapples, fruit bowls, coconut bras...just amazing. I wish I could have them around me all the time. I also learned Latex balloons are biodegradable, an extra plus. I now want to be a balloonist. Thank you Shana for being so magical! read more

Dave & Shana are so awesome! My wedding guests (99% adults, by the way) were way more entertained by their balloons than by a photobooth! And as an added bonus, Dave and Shana are charismatic and fun to talk to! Would definitely recommend! read more

What these guys can do with balloons is truly amazing. They decorated for my mom's birthday party and then twisted individual balloon creations for the guests. My mom was happy with everything they did, so I'm happy! read more

This adorable pair really truly made our daughter's birthday party. Their talents go way beyond your regular balloon art....they are true artists! AMAZING, OUTSTANDING AND REASONABLY PRICED! I contacted Nifty Balloons to ask them to design and deliver balloons for a friends' son coming home the next day from the hospital. In spite of the short notice, they were incredibly accommodating. They created the most amazing balloon sculptures (batman, robin, joker and cat woman) and delivered them to my friend's house. Her son was so thrilled to see them when he arrived home. In addition, their prices are extremely fair and better than a lot of other places in town. Will be using them again and again! read more

I fell in love with these two as soon as they walked in! They were dressed so cute and were so nice. All the kids loved their balloons. What I loved about them was they won the adults over as well. We all got the cutest hats ever! My photographer got a camera hat, all my girlfriends got designer hats, I got a lion to match my son for his circus theme, my niece got a rainbow, my other niece got a Alice and Wonderland heart hat. They were all a huge hit! I for sure will be using them for future parties. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Shana at a recent charity event at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. My organization EAMF.org supports Brothers and Sisters of children who are in health crises and we hired Shana and Nifty Balloons to participate in our annual carnival night. Her skillful artistry provided giggles and giant smiles to the children. She worked tirelessly to make sure every child had a balloon creation to take home. I have worked with balloon artists in the past but no one as talented, charming, and professional as Shana and Nifty Balloons. Our event required Shana to work very quickly, she took specific requests from the children and she never missed a beat. And all of this done with a giant smile on her face. I look forward to working with Nifty Balloons in the future and I encourage anyone needing a balloon artist to hire this company. read more

I had met Shayna and David at a friend's son's party and was amazed not only by their outstanding skill in creating just about anything the little kids wanted (a balloon tuxedo, complete with top hat!), but also that they did so with such obvious joy in their craft. I was thrilled when they were available for my son's 7th birthday, and they delighted boys and girls young and old. They are an absolute dream to work with. read more

We booked Nifty Balloons for our wedding reception and I am SOOO glad we did! We didn't want the standard sit/dance/sit more/dance more style reception. We wanted to have fun things that people could do besides dancing, and when we came across Nifty Balloons we loved the idea. They absolutely wowed our guests (and us!). They made everything from giraffe headbands to giant whales you could wear around your waist to a working bow and arrow and a lightsaber that made sound when you moved it! We had almost all adults in attendance and they were all so excited and acting like kids! There's something about having the balloons there that made everyone more relaxed and people who had never met were laughing and having the time of their lives together chatting about their balloons. The Nifty artists were professional, on-time, and had wonderful personalities! I'd book them again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend them! read more
