I would NOT recommend this balloon decor business. Very disappointing experience. We hired them for our engagement, a very special moment, and they completely let us down. We were charged $575 for what was roughly 40-60 balloons, with no arch, no structure, and no professional setup. They didn't even bring their own stands or props and instead used the restaurant's props, which created inconvenience for the venue and was not what we expected for the price we paid. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability from the owner when the issue was brought up. For such an important event, professionalism and responsibility matter, and unfortunately neither was shown. For such an important event like an engagement, this was a huge letdown. read more

Wow, with all 5 star reviews I was beyond happy I had contacted Magic Balloon Decor for my huge kids day in Compton. I had order 100 balloons in different colors in clusters via their website. The response time was quick and communication was great at first. I clarified some details about my order and once everything was set I paid my order in full and didn't even worry about my balloon order. Big mistake. Morning of my event and my balloon order never arrives. I hold on to all hope that it'll show and as I call over 15 times and send 3 emails to the business I am wondering where are my balloons? At 9:47 am a woman finally answers the phone... mind you their business states it opens at 9:00 am. At this point when this woman answers the phone call, I was beyond frustrated and it sounded in my voice when I called. She tells me they had van problems that morning and somehow no one thought to give me a professional courtesy call? If someone would have called me in a time efficient manner I could have moved on to plan B or C. Worst case scenario at the very least I could have said well they called me... called me when they opened. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, I let the lady know I wanted a refund and she stated she would do that... when I asked when that would happen she said she was already working on it and that was true... I got my refund the same day. They were in the wrong and they knew it... hence my refund and no going back and forth with the lady on the phone which I guess was better than the opposite happening. Still, I am here because I would hate for this happen to someone else, especially when I was really counting on these balloons for my event. I had tons of news channels there, I work for a high profile sports client and have so much business to offer since I have events year round. So for you yelpers, you've at least been warned and for the business I would hope they ensure this doesn't happen to anyone again.
