Soooooo yummy

Yummmmmm! The chimi salsa literally rocks my world! I love cilantro and the fact that they offer cilantro on the food is awesome. The pineapple salsa is outstanding and I also enjoyed the verde. So here's the deal with the quesadillas- so delicious but prepared differently than I'm used to. It's a cheese quesadilla with the toppings piled on top. Absolutely delectable! The takeout was quicker than it said and easy. I definitely recommend and hope to continue to try more food. The steak burrito was excellent!!!!

i used to love it here, but it's progressively going down hill. Ordered 2 tacos, and it was a complete disaster as soon as I sat down to eat. Everything was out of the taco and it was just a mess, the beef was burnt and extremely chewy.

Receipt is correct. Food is not. Las Olas Tacos

Usually fine. I'm from LA and they're nothing quite like that. BUT my order was incorrect - flour tortillas not corn (and you are discouraged from indicating an allergy unless you'll die from ingesting gluten, apparently) - and I can't even get anything handled because they don't answer their phone. So I scraped my taco insides into a bowl and ate with tortilla chips from home, cuz what does one do in this instance.

Supposedly a chicken quesadilla

Not sure who decided these are good or good value... Will take any 1.50 taco off struck over these overpriced, understaffed ones

Found a sizeable bone in my steak taco about a year ago. What's that all about? Stick to chipotle unless you want to chip a tooth.

¡Una comida muy deliciosa!…read more A note to the staff. Everything was delicious last night. If it looked like I didn't enjoy it, it is because I went out to dinner without being hungry. Trust me, the leftovers will be enjoyed tremendously! + + + Some friends and I are on a mission to try new (to us) restaurants to get out of the rut of going to the same places over and over. Yelp led me to Asados Dona Flor and put my memory of high school Spanish to the test. We arrived late-ish on a Friday night that could not decide if the weather was going to be dry, rainy or snowy. There was no one else there which can be sketch but we've had really good luck lately at other places where no one else was there (see Al Basha, in Manchester . . . another new favorite). The server was lovely and so patient with us. We struggled a bit with her English and my Spanish, but we made it through ordering drinks and asking questions about the menu. I ordered hot tea and was pleasantly surprised that it is served as I like tea, with LOTS of lemon already in the mug. Perfect. My girlfriend ordered the blackberry juice con leche. It came out like a smoothie and served in a pretty big pitcher. She said it was delicious. For starters we got the arepa with cheese and the arepa with cheese and chorizo. Arepas I've had elsewhere were more sandwich like. These were grilled bread with toppings. Both were really savory and I loved the charred bread. The chorizo was so good. The only critique is that there was _way_ too much salt on the cheese. And with that, it is probably me, not them. I've been trying to cut back on salt. These were delicious. I didn't eat more because I wanted to save room for the main dish I ordered and was so excited to try. I wish I'd have noticed the tamales on the menu. I would have loved to have tried them. For dinner, I got the arroz con pollo, which was delicious and reminded me so much of the version I had a child when a family friend would make it. I love finding the little sweet bits of raisins. A wonderful comfort food. One friend got the carne asada, which comes to the table on a sizzling platter along with a salad and rice. The taste of the beef that I had was very well marinated and so tender. I'd come back to Asado Dona Flor just for the steak. My other friend got the trios asados (I think). Whatever it was, there was rice, chorizo, other meats, a plantain. So yum. Did I mention that they have breakfast on the menu? All of the platters looked delicious. Rice and beans with eggs and some steak sounds like a perfect morning! Just add some Colombian coffee! I had a strange obsession with the fries they served with each meal. Standard crinkle cut fries that seem out of the freezer. Nothing special, right? ¡Te equivocarías, amigo mío! I am not sure what they did to them because there was no extra seasoning other than some salt, but they were addictive. Especially with the sauce that was in the squeeze bottle that the server put on the table. Addictive. As it says, the place closes at 9:00. The cleaning and vacuuming started promptly. This is not a critique. I would not want to stay at work later than my scheduled time off. Even with the cleaning, they did start at the part of the restaurant furthest from us as we wrapped up and paid the bill. I only mention this because you should be respectful of the staff. This is not the place where you would show up at 8:45 and expect to be served. I would love to come back. You should try it too! (Me encantaría volver. ¡Tu también deberías intentarlo!)

This place has really good food! Staff are friendly but it is a busy place so get there early on…read moreSaturday if you want to taste their sancocho!!! I ordered the Penir, white rice, beans, and sancocho ( yes I shared!!). Everything tasted fresh, and the pernir was some of the best I've had and I'm pretty picky. They also had a homemade garlic dressing to put over the pernir which was also delicious. It looks like there are moving to a larger venue two doors down from where they are so it will have more seating soon. I can't say enough good things about this place. Can't wait to go back!

I can't believe that this restaurant hasn't been reviewed already…read more We were in Worcester and wanted a quick lunch. My son who lives in Worcester eats at La Reyna a lot, so we decided to try it. My husband and I shared a large Cuban sandwich and it was great! The roast pork in it was absolutely delicious... full of flavor and very moist and juicy. Looking at the beans and rice and Pernil in the steam tray and seeing the specials, I'm really looking forward to picking up dinner there next time around. They have a large array of Puerto Rican pastries and deserts that look fresh and delicious, but we didn't have room to try them. La Reyna Express is a storefront restaurant with a few tables and a small counter. It's located in a strip mall near Worcester center with plenty of parking. The people behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

The menu is unique, offering a refreshing break from the gastro-pub trend in the area, with a thoughtfully curated selection that's just enough to avoid overwhelming you with choices. The staff was attentive, friendly, welcoming, and truly understood the art of hosting--something many other spots seem to overlook. We started with the evening's special margaritas and shared yucca fritas, an ensalada, and two tacos: the birria, with slow-braised beef, a crisp cheese crust, onion, and cilantro, and the tingia, featuring spicy chicken cooked with onions and chipotle, shredded cabbage, house mayo, and pickled radish. That being Chip, Guacamole, and Salsa. I will say I was a bag fan of the Guacamole. I was very was seasoned and very fresh. So for the mains them Family Style comes with Smoked Prime Brisket, Pork Shoulder (Pulled Pork), and the Rotating Daily BBQ which for us I believe were Burnt Ends which are one of my favorites. For the side we had Mac & Cheese Cornbread w/ Honey Butter, House BBQ Sauce & Spicy Vinegar with Pickles and Salad. To start with the sides that Mac & Cheese was really good but the winner was for the the Cornbread with the Honey Buter. The 2 just paired together so well. For the mains my favorites were the Smoked Prime Brisket and the Burnt Ends. The Brisket was good., probably not in my top 3 all time but for sure a must try. The Burnt Ends were also very good. You can't always get Burnt Ends but when you can it's for sure a must. We really enjoyed Terlingua and can't thank the staff enough for working with us for this event. For sure a must stop in Portland when you have a big party. Just plan ahead because they are so helpful to work with.
