Service was good, they cook it to order. I can tell, the mariquita chips that come with the sandwich tasted fresh and not stale like other places. Sandwich was a winner. Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. (In my opinion)the croquetas were so good they didn't need any sauce. Churassco w/ white rice, black beans and plantains 10/10 ohh this is everything a churassco should be. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. Absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. I mean if they told me Abuela had made them I would totally believe it. Chefs kiss The hubs ordered the Picanha with morro rice and plantains 10/10 No crumbs or grains of rice was left on his plate! Absolutely delicious Needless to say this place is an absolute must! The price for all 4 of us was only $49.00 (very reasonable). La Vina Aragon is on my list for a date night in the near future.

My order was a pretty good size came delivered at a good temperature. I will say the order was mostly rice, but the grilled chicken breast was bad enough and had a nicely tangy citrus marinade plus lots of little onions. Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. We recently came for Father's Day, and even though Julio was celebrating as a father himself, he was working incredibly hard to make sure every guest had a great experience. You can really see how much heart and dedication he pours into his business. As expected on Father's Day, there was a bit of a wait, especially since we were a larger party, but none of us minded. To thank us for our patience, Julio generously brought out croquetas for the table on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can't recommend Trigo Café enough. The food is consistently excellent, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. While brunch is our favorite, their lunch and dinner are just as great, and the new tapas and wine area they recently added is a fantastic addition. If you haven't been, you're missing out!
