Beef chimichanga

Fast, friendly service. Warm decor inside and patio dining outside. Chips and salsa delivered while you peruse the enormous menu. Margaritas were a mix of citrus fruits and maybe guava. We prefer lime flavored ones. Carnitas Jose were juicy and flavorful. Beef chimichanga was yummy too. The rice and guacamole were excellent!

Chicken Nachos

Great food! Highly recommend the chicken nachos. Enough food to share. Chips and salsa are homemade and really good. We sat outside on a beautiful fall day and the waitress was very kind and helpful. Also, margaritas were awesome!!!

.75 for a 6 inch tortilla...come on man!

We were in Franklin for a few days, my wife wanted Mexican Food, and we saw that Las Margaritas has a 4.5 star Yelp rating. Let me first say, Uncle Julio's Mexican Food in Atlanta or Texas is a 4.5-5.0. My wife ordered the California Chicken Burrito, she let me taste it, and it was good. I'm rating three stars because of the stale chips (and salsa) and the steak fajita that I ordered, and the charge for three more tortillas. The steak was cut into very small strips, and after a few minutes in the hot skillet, were like jerky. My meal came with three tortillas, and when I asked for some more (three more), I was charged $2.24. Our server/waitress Lupe was excellent! If I'm in Franklin again, and whomever I'm with wants to go to Las Margaritas, I'll go, but I'll order something else besides the "steak" fajitas.

We stumbled upon this place while checking out Franklin to go to Outdoor 76. We've passed it dozens of times in the past and never looked twice. This time, we decided to try it out and we are so glad we did. From the friendly service to the tasty tacos and flavorful drinks, we absolutely Loved Las Margaritas! Who would have thought we would find great Mexican food in the middle of the mountains? We will be back. TIPs: 1. Try the Cantaritos Drink. It's like a fresh margarita with added squirt soda. 2. The Al Pastor Tacos were some of the best we have ever had.

Since moving to Georgia, we have gone to multiple Mexican restaurants. At this time, this one is at the top of our list. Not far from where we are located. Short drive to get here. Lovely Mountain View's and plenty of hiking nearby. They were quite busy when we stopped in, so there was a short wait. Our server stayed busy as well, so it did take awhile in between her checking on us. But we were very impressed by the food and margaritas. It's apparently busy for good reason!! Will be back for sure!!

Tequila Sunrise and queso

Cute welcoming walk in, everyone was super friendly! Music plays each table has its own private space. The staff was very fast! Our drinks and food came right out. We drank Tequila sunrise, they were perfect! Yummy! My husband had chorizo queso tacos. He couldn't say enough about it, so much flavor and just amazing! I had the seafood fajitas- wow the flavor!! So so good! Our whole visit was fantastic!

Found this gem on yelp. Located is a little hidden but the food was very good and the prices were reasonable!

Arrival plus hostess: we arrived at the restaurant and immediately the younger looking, maybe Latina hostess, was unpleasant. We had not asked to be seated as we wanted to wait for the rest of our family with some being local residents to my family (from Sand Diego, California) and 2 sister-in-laws coming from Pennsylvania. It wasn't too long when an older gentleman, with glasses, came around took over, was extremely nice, and told us we could be seated confirming our party size. Server: The gentleman who take our order was friendly, prompt, and made no error in any order; my youngest was impressed at how he remembered who ordered what when he begun to bring out the meals. Food: Now this is where I know I can form an opinion. For one I'm Mexican who has lived in San Diego, California all her life (almost 49 yrs), and still do, with frequent visits to Mexico growing up. I also cook and may my own Mexican food, from scratch, to include homemade corn and flour tortillas by hand. I also do not use nor know anyone that uses nacho cheese on their food. What we do use is cotija, queso fresco, and Oaxaca cheese to name a few. I ordered the combination plate with a chicken enchilada and tamale. The plate was palatable but did not win me over. The chicken has zero flavor, zero seasoning, and per my assumption was boiled in water which is honestly an odd way to cook chicken. The tamale was dry and the beans and rice where passable. Looking at the menu I thought I'd be safe ordering that but as my eldest daughter said "mom, this is a 3 star out of 10 - non Yelp stars!" My husband and son both were not wowed by their plates either. When you have a true homemade and quality restaurant mexican food it really is an eye opener when eating outside of Southern California let alone Mexico or as my family "la comida de mi mama es major cien por ciento!!!" Lastly: the same younger looking Latina was behind our table cleaning a smaller group that left and once we all started to get up to leave she made sure she was extremely annoyed of our large presence. The dirty looks and holding back what she thought was quite visible to my observant eyes. I kept staring at her the entire time as each member made their way to the front area to meet and exit. We we never loud, did not make a mess and tipped our waiter generously, which I hope she gets nothing of it. We don't come here often as again, we live in California, but probably would never return unless it was just a drink at the bar. The girl needs to be better trained both in demeanor, her attitude axed, and learn costumer service. Out waiter and the older man with glasses were nice.

Everything tasted great and had quick service. The queso is delicious and the large portion is…read morelarge, but not too big for my family to crush. The lettuce wasn't quite fresh so while the rest of my meal was good, it kind of held back the overall flavor. But overall would definitely go back again.

10/10 I've had bariatric surgery & I look for meals with lots of protein & some flavorful veggies! I did dip a few veggies in the cheese!
