I used my Bissell cleaner which helped get most of it out of the carpet, but not all. I jumped on Yelp and found Chem-Dry. I called and the owner was available to come out within a few hours to clean my carpet. What a life saver! Once he arrived he explained that he would not be using my water for the cleaning, like most carpet cleaners. His company's process uses more chemicals than water. This allows the carpet to dry within a few hours. The other advantage, he explained, is that the chemicals he uses do not stay behind in the carpet. When chemicals are left in the carpet this causes the carpet to get dirty faster as the chemicals attract dirt. My carpet looked and smelled great after he finished! And the carpet dried pretty quick too. His company has a guarantee that if the stain comes back within 30 days, call them and they'll come out and clean it again. That's a pretty good deal!

I initially chose this place because we share the same first name, which I thought was pretty cool. So we made the appointment for a Saturday, and they showed up on-time no problem. Even called my wife to let her know they were on their way. After doing a quick square-footage measurement, they quickly got to work. Now my place isn't that big, roughly 1300 sq ft. But it is upstairs and downstairs, with the stairs being carpeted as well. They were very quick, yet thorough in their work and were finished within an hour. Carpets took about another hour or two to completely dry. Zachary's Chem-Dry definitely did a stellar job, too. Virtually all of the stains were removed, included a red doggie vomit that was hidden under the sofa. I was surprised they were able to get that one out! So, if you're in the market to get those carpets cleaned, I would recommend giving Zachary's a shout. Very reasonable prices, and quick service means I will definitely be coming back.

I requested my carpets to be cleaned in a 21x16 room to include pet treatment. The quote that came…read moreback to me was $110 plus a $30 "out of area" fee. Fair enough. Everyone can acknowledge that "carpet cleaning" includes shampooing the carpet, typically with a machine of sorts utilizing water and some sort of cleaning solution, right? Steven had his team of 3 come over, and they were very polite. This is where it gets a little weird. They spot cleaned with the bottle you can buy at dollar general and spread a bunch of scented baking soda over the carpet. The spots came out, which it wasn't very bad to begin with.... But then they vacuumed.... Then left. I'm sorry, but $140 isn't worth what I could do on my own for $20. I reached out to Steven about my frustration that the carpet wasn't cleaned, and at first he wanted to argue with me and say that what I requested was done. No, Steven, it wasn't. Steven then told us they used a Bissell turbo clean power brush pet cleaner which vacuums and cleans the carpet.... To which we sent him photo evidence of them cleaning and leaving with just a regular vacuum. I requested half my money back, which I thought was more than fair, but he refused and told me all he could do was send someone out another day to finish what I requested. Call me crazy, but I don't want to move all of my furniture, leave my dogs outside the whole time, and make sure my kid won't try to run through while they're working again. I planned for that tonight. Not tonight and another night. And planned to actually have my carpets cleaned, not just "spot cleaned" & vacuumed. I would definitely proceed with caution! UPDATE: They did refund me $70, which was nice. However, after they left, we cleaned our vacuum canister and the below picture is what was in our carpet after they "cleaned what I requested." I even asked the manager if he would be happy with paying $70 for a cleaning only for his own vacuum to pick up this much afterwards. His answer was "no" but apparently they're happy keeping my $70.

I purchased a Groupoun for carpet cleaning for my mother. The company had advertised a Mother's Day…read moresale; I then selected and purchased the "Carpet Cleaning for Two Rooms up to 400 Sqft...plus Deodorizing and Sanitizing" which was $40.04. After Their arrival to service the apartment the compnay began to price gouge, and stated that the stains were not going to be removed because the Groupon is only a "general cleaning" and when they saw there were two pets they associated the stains as pet stains. which was not included in the Groupon purchases, understandably. Please note: both animals are potty trained and the stains were from everyday walking and living throughout the home. We chose to add an additional room, after the service technician stated it should just be knocked out while they were there, but then stated they could not really clean the carpet without purchasing the deep clean and mentioned each room is $45.00 plus an additional $15.00 for a fuel fee. Feeling cornered we followed through with the company. After, I asked for an itemized statement for a better understanding of all the additional fees, because the Groupon never mentioned a fuel fee unless you are 25 miles outside of the 32208 radius. I also did not understand why I had to pay for two additional rooms instead of one, being that I orginnally purchased a two room package up to 400 sqft; or why I had to pay additional for stains when the Groupon advertised cleaning heavy stains. I was met with complete frustration for trying to get a better understanding, and was only given an invoice after asking for an itemized statement numerous times. I have contacted the BBB along with the Florida's Attorney General, because I am sure we all work hard for our money and if we go on Groupon, we are looking for discounts and do not expect to be hustled. No one had professionally cleaned them in several years, so I went for it. I was working upstairs in my office and received a few pictures from Anthony, the technician. I couldn't believe my eyes. My tile floors and rugs looked new again. Check out the pictures, and you will see the difference too. Anthony explained to me Zerorez does not use soaps or detergents. However, the customer service and overall professionalism were extremely disappointing. I hired this company to clean roughly 900 sq ft of carpet on the second floor of my home as we prepare to list it. The job itself should have been straightforward. There was a scheduling overlap where my realtor and photographer arrived during the cleaning. While I understand that wasn't ideal, my realtor immediately communicated with the cleaning team, explained the situation, and even offered to compensate them for any extra time caused by the delay. Despite that, within minutes, the cleaners became visibly frustrated and raised their voices at both my realtor and the photographer, ultimately forcing them to leave. Regardless of the miscommunication, that kind of behavior is completely unprofessional--especially after a solution had already been discussed. Unfortunately, the experience didn't improve from there. While the cleaning was ongoing, I was in a meeting and let the team know to send me the invoice, and that I would stop by shortly after they finished to review the work and make payment. After completing the job, they sent the invoice--which was fine--but then began repeatedly calling and texting me within about 20 minutes, warning that they would escalate charges if payment wasn't made immediately. To be clear, the invoice was paid in full within an hour of the job being completed. The level of urgency, pressure, and overall tone felt unnecessary and aggressive. In summary, the quality of the work was solid, but the lack of professionalism and poor customer service made this a frustrating experience. I would recommend improvements in communication and customer interaction moving forward.
