I requested my carpets to be cleaned in a 21x16 room to include pet treatment. The quote that came…read moreback to me was $110 plus a $30 "out of area" fee. Fair enough. Everyone can acknowledge that "carpet cleaning" includes shampooing the carpet, typically with a machine of sorts utilizing water and some sort of cleaning solution, right? Steven had his team of 3 come over, and they were very polite. This is where it gets a little weird. They spot cleaned with the bottle you can buy at dollar general and spread a bunch of scented baking soda over the carpet. The spots came out, which it wasn't very bad to begin with.... But then they vacuumed.... Then left. I'm sorry, but $140 isn't worth what I could do on my own for $20. I reached out to Steven about my frustration that the carpet wasn't cleaned, and at first he wanted to argue with me and say that what I requested was done. No, Steven, it wasn't. Steven then told us they used a Bissell turbo clean power brush pet cleaner which vacuums and cleans the carpet.... To which we sent him photo evidence of them cleaning and leaving with just a regular vacuum. I requested half my money back, which I thought was more than fair, but he refused and told me all he could do was send someone out another day to finish what I requested. Call me crazy, but I don't want to move all of my furniture, leave my dogs outside the whole time, and make sure my kid won't try to run through while they're working again. I planned for that tonight. Not tonight and another night. And planned to actually have my carpets cleaned, not just "spot cleaned" & vacuumed. I would definitely proceed with caution! UPDATE: They did refund me $70, which was nice. However, after they left, we cleaned our vacuum canister and the below picture is what was in our carpet after they "cleaned what I requested." I even asked the manager if he would be happy with paying $70 for a cleaning only for his own vacuum to pick up this much afterwards. His answer was "no" but apparently they're happy keeping my $70.

I called them back to see if I could get the first guy I had previously. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came and said im sorry we can't do your carpet the boss said no. I went out and bought a $200 carpet cleanEr. Everything this company said they couldn't do my carpet cleaner did and more. And my floor looks better than it did when they first cleaned it. If you could afford to clean your carpet yourself please.

I was very specific when I sent out a Yelp request that I needed the inside refrigerator done, windows done, inside of stove cleaned, and a "deep cleaning" I needed somebody for a heavy duty deep clean and was hoping for a monthly relationship. I will say Liz and her husband showed up early and began to work. I work from home so I let her know that when she was ready to come into my office let me know and I took the dogs outside and put them in their crate. They were here for a total of two hours, and they started to pack up. At that point, I started to walk around and look at things. The inside of my kitchen sink had not been cleaned, not a single one of the three spare bedrooms had been vacuumed, the dining room table had not been cleaned, there is a flower vase on a black cork protector, that had not been picked up or wiped as I saw debris on it, and the windows and the door in my bedroom were not cleaned. Since these were things I immediately noticed I pointed them out to her and she called her husband back in and did these items. I went around AFTER I paid them and they left, and took the photos I attached. When you request a DEEP clean you would expect the items get done. I posted photos of items, with descriptions of what they are, but I will also point out here what was not done -top of coffee pot had hair and dirt -coffee spills still on counter -towel my cats sit on on my desk was not shaken off (cats eat up here in office and should have been shaken off and debris then vacuumed off of floor. -tub in master bath not cleaned -microwave key pad not cleaned -door frames not wiped down or cleaned -inside fridge not cleaned -one of spare bedrooms not vacuumed -shelf that is open with dishes on it in kitchen not even wiped around open areas - inside of stove not cleaned -chairs in bedroom and coffee nook area covers (which are just blankets) not vacuumed or even taken off and shook off to remove dirt / debris etc -Top of washer and dryer in laundry room not cleaned -windows to interior doors not done -windowsills not wiped down -inside of refrigerator doors and handles not cleaned And this is just what I am able to take photos of. I wonder if the laundry room was even mopped? I am not sure, but this was a huge let down.

He now claims to be banned from the building which is a complete falsehood. Despite excellent reviews, I reluctantly recommend that you not use this company because the owner seems to have anger issues he can't control. In fairness, I became angry as well. They were thorough and pleasant. They did everything with a minimum of supervision, including Cleaning the entire kitchen and the oven. They wiped down the kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well. The whole house is ready for painting, which starts tomorrow. This was a difficult job with a lot of moving parts. When they started, they were 15 people in the house at the same time. They had to work around the moving company that reset all the furniture in its place and go over places that they had already cleaned again. They were unflappable in their duty and worked around all the chaos going on in the apartment. For the amount of people and work involved, I felt the price was reasonable. This was not a cheap job, but it was worth it. The owner of the company, Richard, was pleasant to work with throughout and was always immediately responsive to all of my anxieties about whether they would show up and on time, etc., etc. .
