Now that Havemen is out of business, and our Walmart is getting better all the time, and with a new Meijer coming to town, I guess I don't need Ace, unless I cannot find what I need somewhere else. The problem is not with the cashiers or other staff; they are always nice. The problem is when I need technical help. I often get some kind of sublte attitude, as though I am interrupting their little social group in the back. And, when I do find help, the person usually lacks technical and product knowledge. Maybe it's me, and I have simply been unlucky to get the trainees or disgruntled employees almost every time FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS since I moved to town. The "Ace, the Helpful Place" motto does not seem to fit this particular store.

I went in when they opened the next day, and there was my box, on the counter. I asked why it didn't ship, and they said it was my responsibility to call UPS for a pickup. I couldn't believe it. I'm in the computer, and they never reached out to see why it was sitting there for so long.
