They didn't get our business but still were fantastically helpful and friendly. I will make an effort to revisit and use their service. Now that Havemen is out of business, and our Walmart is getting better all the time, and with a new Meijer coming to town, I guess I don't need Ace, unless I cannot find what I need somewhere else. The problem is not with the cashiers or other staff; they are always nice. The problem is when I need technical help. I often get some kind of sublte attitude, as though I am interrupting their little social group in the back. And, when I do find help, the person usually lacks technical and product knowledge. Maybe it's me, and I have simply been unlucky to get the trainees or disgruntled employees almost every time FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS since I moved to town. The "Ace, the Helpful Place" motto does not seem to fit this particular store.

Was told by the employee I could bring it back with the receipt and receive a full return. 24 hours later I brought it back with the recipe and was told no refund because of a close out. I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place had I known that. The item was only $10.49, not a lot of money, it's the principal, no apology, have a good morning, very unprofessional. Last time for me. Beware, I gave the item back to the clerk, now they can sell it to some else.

I got the runaround by the lady owner. She said we don't sell these. I went back to the rack where I bought them from and showed her that she did. She told me to come back on Monday. This was Friday. When I got there on Monday morning, she said we're not going to honor it. Do you have a receipt. You don't need a receipt it's like snap on and craftsman. Besides, who keeps a receipt from years ago, for a set of Allen head sockets. I grew up in Howard city, and I remember when Manson's was downtown and they were a great place to go before they moved into the old Olsen knife building where they are now. I would drive 100 miles to buy something somewhere else to avoid going to this place I would never ever buy another thing from them. Avoid them at all cost.

They don't always walk you there, but I had never anybody refuse to accommodate me when I asked for it. The lawn looked OK during the day, but every weed is visible at night in the headlights. So many…read morelong, long grasses, much longer than the rest of the yard. The first week I just hoped it was because our lawn had been too overgrown for a really professional lawn mowing. I was trying to give Jeff the benefit of the doubt. But week after week the Issue remained. Jeff is a quiet guy, at least here he was. He didn't have much to say at all. Infact, communications was non existent. I should have spoken up about the choppy cut, but I had other things to deal with and I figured at least it look okay during the day. Jeff did not show last week, and he didn't come this week.
