Dan, the owner, provided diagnosis costs, parts and labor costs once the problem was known, and called me each step of the process for the go ahead. I dropped off my truck right at 7:30 A.M. and picked it up that same day around 3:30 P.M. Dan let me know that the power steering issue was fixed and also informed me that due to the leak that the power steering pump received extra wear due to the lack of fluid within the tank. Rather than replace the pump and add that cost into the repairs, Dan informed me that at some point the pump would need to be replaced. Dan will find the problem with your vehicle and fix it as quickly as he can for a good price. He does not try and cheat you in any way to get more money. The reviews for that business was 4.5 stars. Well needless to say this supposedly reputable business turned out to be nothing more than the usual auto repair hustlers. They wanted to charge more than a dealership to repair the car. When I called them out on it, of course the hustlers came up with we have to take the motor out to replace a starter. I even offered to pay them what the dealership had quoted me. They declined the offer. I then contacted Pickups Plus and spoke to Blake. I told him the situation with the car, told him I was out of state and needed a quote to replace the starter. Blake's quote came back $100 under the dealership and $155 under the hustlers. I had the car picked up from Sevcik's Service Center 2200 Longmire Drive College Station, TX 77845 and towed to Pickups Plus. Blake had my daughters car up and running a few hours later. Thanks Blake for your honesty and professional service. By the way the hustlers at Sevcik's called back and said the quote contained an error and they would do the work for the same price as the dealership. Yea right
