For the past 2 years the service here has changed. They don't answer their phones and they caused me over $8000 in unrepairable damages. I have taken them to court where the owner Mark told terrible lies from stating that my receipts are fake, stating they never diagnosed my car, and saying in court his wife Heather who is also the receptionist there no longer works there. Which is very convenient being that she is the one I had been communicating with the whole time but he is the one who showed up to court. I took my car in for a mass airflow sensor and immediately after picking my vehicle up my check engine light came back on and my AC was no longer blowing cool air. When I took it back, Heather told me they put refrigerant in and that did not resolve the issue, they put a green fluid to check for cracks and leaks and that was not it, so they narrowed it down to it being the condenser. My car was there for 2 weeks with no resolve and barely any communication unless I physically showed up there. Heather submitted to my warranty company 3 claims for the condenser yet Mark says they never diagnosed my car. Eventually, I was told there was nothing else they could do for me and to take it to the dealer. The dealer states my entire AC system is contaminated and would need to be replaced. They cannot guarantee a replacement will fix the issue. This has cost me thousands of dollars in addition to time taking them to court. They prefer to have the reputation of another crooked mechanic and had no interest in trying to resolve the issue with me. If you are ok with leaving your car somewhere for weeks with minimal communication, a liar for a mechanic, and possibly more issues with your car go to Larry's. If not, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I have brought my car here on three occasions. The last experience deserves attention - my air system stopped working (no lights, no AC coming out, etc). I stopped by without an appointment. The shop was busy, but Larry stopped what he was doing to take a quick glance at the car. I returned later in the week so they could do a thoroughly examination. After several hours of labor they found the problem - not only did they fix the issue, but Larry did not charge me. I cannot praise the individuals who work in this shop enough. I know next-to-nothing about cars and I assume this can be seen quickly by mechanics. I have never felt taken advantage of by Larry and his staff. It is refreshing to leave my car in the hands of mechanics here and feel safe knowing they will treat both my car, and myself, well. read more

I'm from out of town and had an issue with my fuel valve driving through the valley - Heather and the staff were able to get me right in, and resolve the issue while saving me about $200 from what the dealer wanted to do the work. Everyone on staff were friendly and explained well the work that needed to be done. read more

I've been taking my car to Larry since I moved to Bethlehem and he always takes good care of me. He does a great job and is very affordable. Plus he never tries to sell me something I don't need. read more

If you wish to waste approximately $4000 in repair only to drive it for 2 weeks after it has been in their shop for 2 months, then you should visit Larry's automotive at 435 pembroke road, Bethlehem, pa, 18018. Not the type of person to leave a review or even contact the BBB but I honestly think people should avoid going to Larry's to get their vehicle repaired. We outlined the issue the car had and ask for a inspection to be done, they happily accepted the vehicle and assured me it would be looked at the next day, it took this company 2 weeks just to look at the vehicle. I called every other day but to be given a bunch of excuses. They finally fixed the issue and informed us that the vehicle needed various parts to fix in order to be road ready and pass inspection. I was estimated $2000, once more it took this company 6 weeks just to order parts and work on the vehicle. I had to call every other day just to get and update and majority of the time I had they do not answer my calls and forces me to go to their shop in person to get an update. I told this company that I just gave birth to my baby and had pleaded that I can't be constantly coming to their shop with a newborn just to get an update on the vehicle. They kept giving false information about the progress of the vehicle and eventually I got the car. I drove the vehicle and told them that there was a clunking noise when I shift into different gear and that it might be a transmission issue. They once more assured it was not. So here I am 2 weeks of driving the car less than 200 miles and the vehicle literally stop driving. I got it towed to the dealership for a diagnostic and was told it would now cost several hundreds of dollars to get the transmission fixed. Please take my foolishness advice and avoid bringing your vehicle to Larry's automotive, the have terrible customer service, they lie about the condition of your vehicle and overall untrustworthy. Save yourself the extra money and go to a dealership. read more
