My fiancee took her jeep in for a routine oil change. She had her jeep beautifully decorated for Christmas, with lights, garland, characters and even a stuffed Jack Skelton. Well upon picking up the vehicle we discovered all of her hard work (and money spent) DESTROYED. Some genius washed the truck. Now I know it is customary to wash the vehicle after service but COME ON. This was a common sense thing, anyone paying attention would've said "hmmm high powered WATER, might destroy this" she is so disappointed and I'm livid. All we got was a sorry and a "I'll have someone call you" terrible experience. They even complimented her decorations upon arriving so for no one to take care of it is just insane. read more

This is solely for the service department as I have never dealt with the sales department. If I could give 0 stars I would. I brought my car in for repairs on May 15, I was advised that repairs should take a few days. After 4 days of no communication I called to see how long my car would be in so that I could rent a car. I was told that I would be "taken care of" and that they would get me a rental. Since they didn't know when the parts would be in. After I called Enterprise to get my rental that was promised I was told that they didn't have any order for one. Called the dealer back and was told that since I was out of mileage they couldn't get me a rental, yes I knew that, that's why I had my own rental ready that I cancelled because I would be "taken care of". I go in since they said my car is drivable. I talk to the manager about this. He agrees that this was terrible and they would do better. Surprise they didn't. 5 weeks go by, again 0 communication by the dealership, I called about once a week to see what was going on and always told I'll call you back in 5 minutes, never called back. After getting MOPAR involved, they were a hassle to deal with as well but that's another story, I was finally told by Mopar not the dealer that the parts had finally arrived. Mind you they had lied to Mopar about parts being in a couple of weeks before. I call the service department again to double check that the parts were actually in fact in stock, the service advisor smugly tells me I told Mopar last week we got the parts in and when asked like the last time where you lied to them and the parts weren't there? The service advisor had the audacity to say I'm not doing this back and forth with you. What back and forth? you've never called me once!!! So I bring my car back in and I ask for him to come in and talk with his manager again about this whole experience. As usual he doesn't go in because he knows he can't defend the indefensible. As I talk with the service manager who says he doesn't remember me, agrees that this has been a mess and he'll switch service writers and he'll take care of things. Again as is now what is usual for this place he doesn't do anything he says. It's no wonder this place is run terrible when the manager can't even be bothered to actually do anything. It starts at the top. I was told my car would be ready in 2 days. As seems to be the story with this place they had my car for over a week again with 0 communication, after calling again and again to try to figure out what is happening I finally get a call back from the service writers whom the manager said was getting switched to advise me my car would be ready the next day. So if we're keeping track my car was awaiting repairs for over 5 weeks with 0 calls, emails or texts (which you provide them with this information ) and them having my car for 12 days with 1 phone call at the end. So if you want to be jerked around and have no accountability from anyone come to Larry h miller. I genuinely have no idea how they are still in business. Also there is no one above them at the moment from what I'm told, maybe that's why they act the way they do. Absolutely terrible experience from top to bottom. All of this could have been avoided with simple communication 1 call a week, saying sorry we don't have the parts yet, completely understandable but customer service is not a priority. They make it seem like they're doing you a favor by doing their job. Absolutely abysmal. read more

There must be new workers in the maintenance service area i just had the worse experience ever since I have been dealing with them for nearly 10 years. I went to get an oil change my appt was at 7am it took 3 hours, after close to 2 hours I called to check the status they tell me they had to order a filter for a 2023 Ford equinox didn't you know a week in advance that it was coming the previous service advisor would have never let me sit there and wait like that, he would have at least came to me to try to explain why the long wait he always explained things up close and personal and when my vehicle was finished he came and got me the new people were cold and insensitive just sending emails when it's time to buy new oil changes I'm gonna have to think long and hard about it, it use to be worth the long drive because the customer service was excellent not today it wasnt read more

It started out okay. Our salesman was Thad, he wore a mask but under his nose at all times which was annoying. We had picked a truck out on the internet. For some reason, we were brought a different truck to drive which we drove but we wanted the one we had seen. We were never asked if we wanted to drive that one though. Now in Finance, we asked "Diesel" if we absolutely needed the title and he said no just sign the release. Now we are being harassed by the dealer for the stupid title. We asked for some touch up paint but we were told by Thad that it wasn't included in the deal! What?? The touch up paint usually comes free with a brand new 2021. He said oh sorry we have to charge you. Needless to say. I WOULD NOT recommend these jokers to anyone. Not the Avondale store anyway. You spend a ton of money and they can't give you a $2 bottle of touch up? They were my go to car place but stay away. I bought my VW atlas here in 2020 of November. I have traded in my VW atlas at another dealer in November 2021. I contacted this dealership that I traded in my vehicle and that I request for a refund for my warranty. They gathered my information to start the process. I sent it in in November, I have been emailing Michael Metcalfe, the originally person I contacted and who was helping me process this request, and he has ghosted me. I have emailed, called, and crickets. It's almost June and it's been 7 months and I never received a refund check as stated. You have been warned!!!! Do not Purchase your new car here!!! In the last 11 years my family and I have purchased 6 new and used cars from various valley dealers. This by far has been the worst experience we have aver had! I have caught our sales person and finance manager In several lies. Every time I called them out on it they got very upset. The start: I went through USAA to get a guaranteed discount of $6,250 off MSRP. After going through several "leader cars" that didn't exist, we finally found one we liked. After 5 hours of negotiations and trying to get them to honor the USAA certificate, we agreed on a price. They came back an hour later all excited and said they got us approved! My wife was ecstatic! Once we got to the finance office they tried to slip us a paper that showed an interest rate of 18% and a payment of $580....for a freaking base model Renegade!? We refused and then they said we could get the payments we wanted. We signed and drove off happy. Next day we got a call saying we didn't get the financing and needed a co-signer. After much deliberation we found a family member with a 760 beacon who would help. Thus back again for another signing with co-signer. Paper work done and decent payment at 10% interest and we were off again! Next day I got a call from a random lady saying they had 2 banks come back with better offers and we needed to come back. She refused to indulge any info over the phone. When we got back, they told us one bank wanted a $1000 down @16% interest and we'd be around $500 a month and the second bank was zero down at 20%..... I almost flipped out on these jokers! Now our final time they said we'd qualify for a credit union @4.25% and a payment of $375 but they refused to honor my USAA certificate. Signed and off again. Told them if I get one more call then they can come get the car and drive it you know where. Now don't get me wrong, I'm use to wheeling and dealing with car sales but I have NEVER had so many lies fed to me in my 30 years of buying cars. DUDE!?!?! Why is it so hard to buy a new Dodge?!?!? WTF?!?!? LHM Dodge Avondale were the first of several to actually act like I was the customer. I have a great job, cash, clean trade with no loan, and 836 credit, which makes this whole thing ridiculous. Earnhardt Gilbert wouldn't allow me to do a test drive and the guy was super creepy, made my wife's skin crawl. Hegg's wanted me to pay for several of their children's college tuition. $1,797 for the "Desert Protection Package", and not a single person in the place could explain what was done to the vehicle in this package, it sounded like a warranty scam. In all about $8,000 over where they should be. Tempe Dodge, great guys, spent time with us and I really liked them. I asked 4 times for him to run numbers on an inbound car so we could lock in and be done, nope.... refused..... And that sucked because they spent an hour or two with us and we drove 2 cars...... I'm not waiting two weeks to get a fkn price, c'mon now...... Bill Luke, GREAT website with fair trade and pricing, but I couldn't get a call back, just sporadic emails and bad attitude from one of the sales people. I was about to just call it off and continue driving my Mazda, which was a nice dependable 2 year old car........ One last try..... Avondale. I got a new guy, Joshua, first day on the job, was a previous internet sales manager. I got a fair price on my trade and a good price on the Charger, probably could have saved a bit, but I was tired of this already. But, all in all, nothing was horrible and I left with the vehicle the next night. Tino in finance was great, he actually HEARD me when I said no to the additional warranties etc, other car dealers should do better at this from my experience, some even made me raise my voice and curse, wow. I would repeat at this place, they just need to work on delivery. The vehicle wasn't spotless, mats were in a bag in the back seat and not installed, no swag. This is my 8th new vehicle and the first time I got a new car with no dealership or manufacturer swag like a key chain, hat, t-shirt etc.. The worst part was getting rushed out after I sat for an hour waiting finance. They sure didn't make it feel like a special occasion on a $45k vehicle purchase. In my opinion,Avondale Dodge's business model is built around decieving the customer. They posted a lower priced msrp sticker on a 2019 dodge challenger than was posted in the actual car and pricing sheet. When called out on it, they say they don't price thier cars off internet window msrp sticker. During purchasing negotiations, they made calculation errors in the amount of $776.00 over charging in registration cost. Know your numbers when negotiating as it appears they are counting on the customer not knowing basic math. Sales people are not the problem, it is upper management that are dishonest. Bait and switch financial closing statements. When buying don't let them just give you the financial documents on a thumb drive. They may not represent what you agreed to. After an extensive discussion where I told the finance person that I did not want to purchase their "Total Auto Care" option for $499 the finance person showed me a paper without the charge and then the charge was added back on. I did not realize that he did not honor our discussion and my request to have the optional charge removed until after I was able to inspect the sale contract from the thumb drive. I received no response to my requests for discussion regarding this topic that I sent to the dealer. read more
