Worst pizza place I've been in! Took almost an hour for our appetizer and it came with the food waited every 30 min for refills and the worst pizza so greasy and floppy! I'm pretty sure they use microwaved wings When our wings came out it look like they sit under a heat lamp for hours!!! If I could do 0 stars I would read more

Absolutely horrible service. Sat for over 15 minutes with not even being asked about a drink. Wasn't offered anything until we were getting up to leave and that was mainly excuses. Will never stop by this location again. read more

Very good chain pizza! This was a pan crust, Pepp. Shroom. Hot Pepper large. Good amount of sauce and crust was well done. I was hours away from the office working this day and really wanted a good mom & pop pizza place but LaRosa's worked very well. Definitely would recommend read more

LaRosa's Pizza Jackson - Large Pan -Pepp, Mushhroom & Banana Pepper - Pizza Near Me - Jackson, Ohio

We lucked out having La Rosa across the way from our hotel. I had read that they had a decent gluten free pizza crust so we headed that way to try it for dinner. We were seated immediately and had a gander at the menu. The pizza toppings were clearly labeled with the "GF" designation so it made it easy to pick which toppings we wanted. I also wanted to try their antipasto salad. Our server Kasidy (I hope I spelled that right!) was very pleasant and super patient. I gave my usual spiel of "I'm super annoying and I have to ask every single time but I have celiac, etc." She said that she is well versed in the celiac lifestyle and answered all of my questions and got me through the ordering process without too much fuss (she said it wasn't but I think she was being nice lol). The antipasto salad was a banger and I snarfed that down without hesitation. The thing that gave me the most pause was the GF pizza. Y'all, I have never in my life seen such a fluffy and squishy GF pizza crust. It was so authentico that I had to ask her if this was really the GF pizza crust, and she said it was. HOW ARE THEY ABLE TO DO THIS. HOW. Needless to say, it was AMAZEBALLS and I really, really wish they had a La Rosa out here just for the crust. Honestly, the pizza was pretty dang good for being from small town in Ohio. We both left happy, the bill was under $40, and I didn't get sick later, so that's a win-win-win! read more

The reviews had me a little scared but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quick. read more

I actually had to tell the bartender how to make Malibu and cranberry cuz she couldn't find the recipe book... Both my husband's drink and mine were empty and had been, so we had to flag down someone for refills! The bar was half full and NO one behind the bar. After the second time we had to request refills, we left!! Every month or so, we keep trying this place cuz the food is good, but ALWAYS disappointed!!!!! Hire a bartender that know how to run a bar!!!!! read more

Service /server was sub par , seated promptly. Food could have been better. We visited New Year's Eve again. Probably won't return next year. Food just wasn't that good. Seemed hot and fresh but lagged flavor. It was loud inside , but it was Saturday night. read more

See all

This place is sooo good - only been here couple times but each time food has been excellent I think secret is the bough price is very reasonable and food excellent- gotta try it read more

Food has been cold many times, the staffing is always short with rude staff which is understandable when they are over worked.

Getting seated, having your order taken, and getting your food were not an issue. But, our waitress did not come back to see if we needed refills or anything else. My son ordered the chicken bacon ranch calzone. It was excellent. Well worth the money. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. It definitely was not worth $9. If I'm paying that much for a salad, I expect more than a small bowl mainly filled with iceberg lettuce. read more

Good pizza! I haven't used the Buddy Card, but I am planning to order again in the future

I don't like their crust. Was much too doughy for me. There is a LaRosa's just up the street but I rather drive 10 miles to get a pizza with crust that I like. read more

LaRosa's has been a main stay in the Jackson area for several years now. They have always had good food and service, they're the leader in the area for pizzeria style food, An they're the only place in town you can order food and a drink until 10 o'clock. The menus are comprehensive with choices for everyone tastes and moods. We have eaten many times here, An the food is fresh and great quality. LaRosas are putting a stronger management team in place an even better dining experience. read more

This place is great the pizza is my new favorite, was a nice treat from traveling. We ordered to small pizza and the family fought over who gets the last piece. read more

My family and I have eaten here twice. Both times their pizza has been great. Gotta say They are one of the better pizza places in the area. We have also had their calzones & they were good as well. Definitely a pizza place I would recommend. Decent priced, family orientated and the staff is great! Made our little ones have a good experience by bringing out gold fish snacks to hold them over until our food was finished, and making sure they had a huge coloring piece of paper to play with. read more

We stopped for lunch and both the service (Hanna) and Food were great. The LaRosas new salad here was much much better than we have had at other LaRosas. But the best thing was Hanna she handled several tables with gracefulness and speed She is truly a great asset to this LaRosas. The kitchen staff did our food in record time with awesome tastefulness. read more

Food is very over priced also the food wasn't all that good. $23 for a sub par pizza is crazy

This is more of a 3.5, but I'm going with 4 because the waitress didn't say anything when she saw that I'd snuck in a Coke. (I don't drink fountain pop.) My pepperoni and cheese stromboli was very good, with lots of cheese, and a nice garlic Parmesan sprinkle on top. I also tasted the kitchen chips, and they seemed to have the same sort of dusting and were excellent. Some of the best home made chips I've ever tried. The salads were pretty basic, as were the chicken strips and fries off the kids menu, but they gave my son free goldfish crackers, and then free apples, so that kept him from complaining too much when it took awhile for his food. And that was really the only reason I can't give this place a 5. They only got half the order for our table in, so three of us had to wait an extra ten minutes which meant everyone ended up waiting on us. The restaurant is clean looking and the TVs are big and looked to be high def. Probably the nicest touch was the collection of local jerseys from Jackson's various sports stars. Very cool! read more

The waitresses here are tops. We showed up with more than 30 people, all involved with a family reunion. We had called earlier but it was still chaos. Ages ranged from 80 to 2. Waitresses Becky and Jennifer deserve gold stars. They saw us as a challenge and so worked really hard on our behalf. We all got well fed and completely satisfied. The food is just OK, it's a pizza chain, after all. read more

Very strange place. Sat down, ordered food, salads arrived, no utensils. A couple minutes later, server brought two forks. No napkins. A couple minutes later, the napkins arrived. The wings came 20 minutes later, after salads were nearly digested in our stomachs. Then, we waited for a bill. We asked two other servers, because ours was MIA. A manager eventually brought our bill. Maybe sitting in the bar instead of dining room would be better. read more

Service would have gotten five stars. Food was good and served quickly. The homemade chips were fantastic. read more

I am from the Columbus area and don't go down to Jackson very often, but my most recent time at this La Rosa's was a complete nightmare First, our waitress was WAY off the ball, she gave me the wrong drink (I ordered a Long Island iced tea, got a rum and coke), then she forgot to bring out some of the food, and at times was completely vacant Next, the food quality, what happened? When I first went to the La Rosa's in Jackson, they were pretty good, now it looks as if they cook out of a box or can Their "steak" hoagy seemed like the "steak" you get on the steak & egg breakfast sandwich at McDonald's, their Mac & Cheese was obviously Kraft Mac & Cheese, the only good thing I saw were the Rondos, I regret not getting them Then finally, without even asking, the waitress put all the orders on one check, so then we had to wait as she went back to split up the check Sad to see one of the best places down there (except for maybe Dakota's, which I hear is expensive anyway) has ended up this bad read more

If you would like to be waited on and have good service, you may as well continue to Cincinnati to a LaRosa's that actually cares. If I could give them zero stars I would. I was seated right away and had 4 servers and a manager walk by over a 10 min period not to be even looked at. I left and mentioned to the hostess that I was leaving as I hadn't been waited on and she responded with "oh." Terrible and stay away. read more

My family placed an order to go at noon. It is now 2 o'clock and we still have bit received our delivery. I am beyond upset with the wait we had to endure. We have called twice to let them know we had not received our order. Never doing business there again!! read more

I sat at the bar for 5 mins while no one acknowledged me despite a server walking by me 2x to help a table in the bar area. The service is very poor during non peak times. read more

Hubby got a carry-out pepperoni pizza from LaRosa's yesterday. Not great. IF there was pepperoni on the pizza, was it diced? Now, I'm not a fan of pepperoni so I really didn't mind too much, but he paid for pepperoni. THAT I mind. In my experience, dining in at La Rosa's is better. And ordering a sausage pizza is a whole lot better than ordering pepperoni. Based on yesterday's carry-out experience. Now, it has been awhile since we last ate in at La Rosa's so my next question is: has La Rosa's recently changed it's pizza sauce? Re: yesterday's carry-out - besides no discernible pepperoni on it - extremely bland sauce. So much so that I don't think it could qualify as Italian-style pizza sauce. Completely unseasoned. Not a hint of oregano, garlic, basil, OR S&P to be tasted. Really disappointing. read more

New owner and customer friendly.. my favorite stop in Jackson. Dine in or carry out, the food is consistently good

Fast and friendly service. Huge Jojo BLT salad was fresh and very good. The pizza had a lot of sauce and if you like it a little sweet you will love their pizza. One of the nicest LaRosa's we have been in. We told our waitress we were in a hurry and she hustled for us! read more

New owner and dinner was really good. We ate in the bar area and had great service. The new owner said he is getting bigger TVs in the bar area for sports viewing. Will be an even better place to grab great food, have a cold beer, and watch a game. read more

Nothing spectacular but good for a on the road stop or staying at a nearby hotel overnight. The service for my table was slow for not being crowded, and the server messed up an order of beer, but overall it isn't a bad place. read more

La Rosas is one of the better places for a good linch or pizza in jackson. Their crust is well made and the pizzas that I have tried are delicious! Stopped by along the route home. Food was great as was the service. Definitely deserves more than 3 stars!

This place is ok. I'm not a fan of their pizza, but everything else on the menu is really good!!

It's overrated. There pizza tastes like card board and there Italian food is cheesy, Honestly I would rather eat at olive gardens, and there not even that good. read more

I never could figure out why some people love their food here. It's not bad, but it's just utterly unremarkable. The pizza is edible enough but it's not particularly special and I can get equally unremarkable pizza for less money elsewhere and can get a much more tastey pizza from Domino's for a similar or even lower price. They do have other food items and I've ordered them based on glowing praise from friends only to find those, too, to be edible but forgettable. For example, supposedly their chicken tenders and fries were amazing, but I found the fries to be just fries and the tenders to be reminiscent of something I could heat from a freezer. read more
