Have you ever craved sushi like me but do not have time to go to a sushi restaurant. Look no further because this poke bar is amazing. The way you can customize your bowl is out of this world! When you first enter the restaurant it is very cozy. You can see a bar next door which also looks amazing. I went with my friend Dom for lunch and we did not have to wait in line at all. Whenever I go to a poke bowl place I always have to get the salmon and tuna. I got the white rice with seasoning, salmon, tuna, little bit of soy sauce, scallions, cucumber, radish, crab mix, hot Cheetos and spicy mayo. The service is really fast and recommendations are always given when you cannot decide what to get in your bowl. They would let you know what is popular. Overall, I would highly recommend this poke bar if you are craving a poke bowl or if you want to eat salmon or tuna.

I made my own poke bowl with spicy tuna. There are tons of of options to top the bowl. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Albany.

I made my own pick two protein bowl. There's definitely a lot of options. I used zucchini noodles as my base. I picked spicy tuna as my protein. There are ton of options to top.

I love poke. It's such a refreshing meal that makes me feel like I'm eating healthy (whether or not that's actually the case, with all the toppings I add, is not open for discussion). Finding this poke shop was a real treat; a medium gives me two decent portions of protein, and I can get as many toppings as I want! The shop is also really cute and totally Instagram-worthy. The only weird thing was that when we first entered the shop there was a distinctive musty odor, but if you're taking it to-go that shouldn't be much of an issue. So if you're ever taking a stroll down Lark St. and are looking for something tasty, I suggest you give this a try!

This is a cute place right on Lark. Nice outdoor seating, 4 tables spaced nicely apart. My bowl was very good but for $12 I assumed it would be a bit bigger. I also got the vegetable dumplings and they were good, but small. For $5 I'd expect maybe one more...? I would eat there again because they had a nice variety even when you don't want raw, but I'll be more prepared to pay for quality, not quantity, I guess.

I admit I have an obsession with poke and sushi; and this place makes me ridiculously happy. I no longer have to jump a bus to NYC just to satisfy my poke cravings. They are almost on par with the ones you find in NYC. In some aspects, even better. They have sample cups to let you try sauces before you commit to drenching your whole poke bowl. Kind of like ice cream samples but sauce samples! Portion sizing and pricing here is pretty good. They've got a lunch size, medium and large sizes. The lunch size tends to be too small for a pig like me but, the regular and large sizes are relatively sufficient. Unlimited sides and topping, yes! Over 10 sides and over variety of sides and toppings is heavenly. Masago, seaweed salad, crab salad are all toppings that I've seen charged extra at other poke places in the city and I truly appreciate that they're included here. Poke places generally tend to err toward being a takeout spot, but Poke Bar does a good job at being exactly the opposite. Located dead on Lark, the restaurant has trendy atmosphere that provides a good space for hangouts. On top of that, they've got wine and beer! Quality poke, spirits, convenience and a welcoming ambience. What more can you ask for.

Literally every time I order delivery from this place they skimp out so much on the food. If I go in person they will stack the ingredients but through delivery, even if you order a bigger portion, it will still be 30% empty. I am so sick of the inconsistency. Food is good on the days they decide to actually put some effort but I don't understand why I'm paying $17 for a bowl of the smaller portion poured into it.

Even though the sushi selection isn't as fresh as the ones in the West coast, this place is definitely on par compared to other poke shops I've been to. PROS: Wide selection of toppings and sauces, reasonable portions and playful vibes. CONS: For people with a larger appetite, you may want more than one bowl! Tip: I went in once for taco tuesdays and forewarning - they are TINY!!!

This is one of my favorite takeout places. I got a lot DoorDash from them during Covid. Yesterday it was my first time to dine in. This place is very clean and decorated well. The food looked fresh. The staff were pleasant and helpful, he gave me good recommendations for fixing and sauce. I got a bowl of spicy tuna and crabmeat with veggies and brown rice. It was delicious. I also like the Thai tea. Looking forward to coming back soon.

West coast high quality poke spot with trendy foodie vibes and a wide menu selection! My new favorite place in Albany! Poke bowls- Finally, poke has reached Albany! There are three different sizes to choose from- the lunch special (it might be a sufficient portion size if you have a small stomach), regular and large sizes. I prefer building my own bowls because there are so many different ingredients and sauces to choose from. Some of their unique ingredients are zoodles, pineapple, and cilantro. They arrange the bowls very carefully and provide generous scoops of each ingredient, especially the raw fish. The only step that is missing in the poke bowl process is mixing the fish and vegetables in a separate bowl with sauce before placing it on top of the grain/greens. Instead, this restaurant simply squeezes the sauce on top of the fish directly. Overall the sauces and fresh ingredients taste great, but it would be even better if the sauces were mixed into the ingredients in a separate bowl for each order before being placed above the grains/greens. Mochi Ice cream- An excellent share-able dessert! I was impressed with the delicious matcha mochi with 2 scoops of ice cream, toasted marshmallows and strawberry sauce! Definitely an interesting combination of flavors but the quality was excellent! Atmosphere: This restaurant belongs on the west coast, which is a great thing! It's got a very trendy atmosphere and decor. The owners are very friendly and are willing to explain the concept of poke to newcomers. Highly recommend!

I wasn't aware of exactly what Albany was missing until this gorgeous gem opened up. Delicious food options. If you like sushi even remotely - you'll love it here. Vegan option as well if you don't like fish. Both cooked and raw options for fish. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I ordered a base of half brown rice/half zucchini noodles which was a perfect combo for me. Topped with everything I could have wanted, really great options for combos for all different tastes. I opted for the fire sauce and was pleasantly surprised at how spicy it was. I didn't even need to add any wasabi as I was quickly eating my way through the bowl. You can pre-order your food and they offer curbside pickup. I can already see this being a great place to quickly grab food for lunch. Not working on Lark street, I can't find the time to get down there and sit for lunch. Cutting down time on parking to grab food to go gives me more time to relax before jumping back into work. Wine and beer options as well - really looking forward to quick date nights here and grab and go delicious food for Park picnics and plays in the park. What a great addition for Lark st.

Atmosphere: Very hipster feel, beautiful ambiance. Will definitely become a hotspot in Albany. Food: Seafood is very fresh, ingredients were fresh. All options were quality choices and served in good proportions. Service: Staff was very friendly, some of the employees were still learning but management was knowledgeable in teaching. Wow Factor: I love sashimi and this place has definitely captured the essence of quality, fresh foods. Check this place out asap!

Sunday is my eat out day, and I picked up my aunt, drove to troy. Found d some street parking, went to the order kiosk and placed my order based on what I could eat and recommendations from the employee at the register. I chose, lunch combo with chicken and chicken teriyaki plate. May be, just the chicken was overcooked and a little fibery, besides that, it was very flavorful. I do have a couple more options to try, with me enjoying the food, definitely makes it an option for a revisit. If you live pork and beef, you definitely have more options. The restaurant was clean and well maintained.

Spam Musubi - The spam had a nice savory flavor slightly salty went well with the rice. The seaweed had a slight fishy taste that was pleasant with the dish. Bulgogi Kimchi Burrito with beef (2 Burritos) We might eat this there next time it was falling apart in the container the wax paper was sticking to it. The flavor was really good though. Slight amount of spice nice vegetable crunch tasty marinated beef. Side of french fries were kind of tasty nothing special. Nashville Hot Chicken Sando Combo came with two sandwiches we asked for 1 mild and one regular. The first chicken sandwich was a little dry it might've been the mild flavor, it was all right. The medium chicken sandwich had a little bit more spice than the mild same so so flavor a little dry also. Spicy Pork Bowl with SPICY MAYO. This had a nice flavor, a little bit sweet and a good amount of spice. The sauce was sweeter than I like. We wanted to try a nice variety since we had never been there and have been wanting to try the place for a while. All in all we found the food to be pretty good, not sure if we would order any of these items again though since we felt nothing knocked our socks off. We would like to try the poke bowl next. If you are ordering for pick up be careful about where you order it. Make sure you go to bespoke bowl's website. Important sidenote when ordering takeout here: We ended up going through what we thought was their website and it was some third-party site that was selling this restaurants food and we ended up paying between 12 and $15 more for our order. I showed it to the staff when I picked it up because I had looked at their menu in the store and saw the price difference. The staff seemed confused/surprised.
