They each didn't want my business because they either charged for the estimate, or wouldn't work with the adverse insurance carrier (AIG). We were hit by a semi and required some repairs. When I first called George's, they were fast, friendly and helpful. They assured that they would take care of all the insurance supplements and needs. But in the back of my mind, I know how this works and figured I would have to get involved. Not only did I never have to get involved, but they processed two large supplements and communicated with Enterprise, plus updated me on the progress. The vehicle looks great! If I ever have a body shop need again, I guarantee you that I'm taking it to Georges, no questions asked. Fast, Friendly, Intentional, Responsible, Fair. Everything you would hope for. Please stay away from this business if you value your money or your vehicle…read more I took my daughter's Toyota RAV4 in for a front bumper repair and was quoted $900. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. My daughter attends college in the area, so I had to rely on her assessment at pickup -- which is understandably different from mine. Here's what we encountered: 1. It took weeks just to receive a quote. 2. When she picked up the vehicle, panels and flares were still loose. 3. She had to wait an additional three hours for them to correct the issue. 4. The pre-collision warning was still active -- something they apparently did not check or notice while moving the car around their shop. 5. We were told the sensor needed to be replaced at a cost of $500. When she came home this weekend, I had the vehicle reassessed elsewhere. The issue? The sensor simply needed to be reprogrammed -- total cost: $150. Very disappointing experience overall. Consider this a lesson learned on our end, but I feel others should be aware before trusting them with their vehicle.

DON'T BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!! Terrible experience from start to finish, and they will lie to you…read morejust to get your car in (especially if you are a woman or college student) I took my car in to get the front bumper and coolant container replaced after a minor car crash. After talking to multiple auto shops, John quoted us $2800 and said it would only take 1 week to repair. After giving them my car, they kept giving excuses for why it wasn't ready. First, the part hadn't come in; then they said there were no available refurbished parts (which showed they hadn't ordered the parts yet). Every time I called, they said the car should be ready in 2-3 days. Eventually, after 3 weeks, my mother called, and from then on, the receptionist kept lying, saying it would be 2-3 days and that they were just waiting on parts. My mom continued to check in every 2-3 days as they said, and eventually the reason turned into someone just quitting, and they are behind on labor. This makes sense considering my mother heard John Ed yelling at the receptionist (his daughter), calling both her and his workers dumba**es one time when the daughter "accidentally" forgot to put her on hold to ask John Ed about an update on my car. It took 6 WEEKS for me to get my car, leaving me stranded here for Thanksgiving. Also, when I got my car, the price jumped to $3200 for "other work that needed to be done," even though they did not consult either my mom or me about the additional work. They said that "John Ed gets into a groove, which means he can sometimes forget to update the customer". I was willing to forgive and forget until I found out recently, when I went to get an inspection, that my coolant had water and that my entire coolant tank needed to be drained and refilled. John Ed was the last person to put coolant in my car, which means they put water in it to make it last longer.

On top of that, the hose connected to my radiator was messed up after the repair, and now all the coolant leaks out onto the engine, causing it to steam/smoke and make the A/C cut out. When I called to ask if there was any chance they caused the damage, the owner cussed me out, got defensive, refused to have a normal adult conversation, hung up on me, and even blocked me. After that, they were holding my car hostage. It had been 3 days, and they told me, "I'm not giving you the car back until you pay me." For what? I already paid for the original issue and never even got a receipt. They failed to provide the insurance company with what they needed in order to be paid in full. I had to do all of the work myself to make sure they got paid so that they would finally release the car to me. When I confirmed that they received their payment, I went to the shop asking to pickup my car, the owner refused to give me the keys saying "I'm never giving you your car back again" even though everything was already paid in full. He threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave but I told him I wouldn't leave until I got the car, because ultimately they no longer had the right to hold it. In that instant, the owner came up to me, grabbed me, and tried tackling me to the ground. Not only did he put his hands on me but 2 other savage animals infested with rabies came and wrapped their arms around me and swung me around violently. They eventually threw me out of the shop so I immediately called 911. As I was waiting for them to arrive, the owner opened the door and stepped outside screaming at me to leave. I refused because the officer had just shown up. In the result of my refusal, the owner ONCE AGAIN put his hands on me and pushed me in which the officer eventually came over to break up the commotion. Once everything was disputed with the police, they did the right thing and forced the owner to release the car and give it to me. I wouldn't suggest this shop to anyone unless you're are fully up for dealing with scamming, fraud, physical and verbal abuse, as well as a shady atmosphere that encourages you to not use insurance, holds your car with no legal right, denies having surveillance of anything, and refuses to give you a receipt. It is only right for this company to be terminated for the sake of the community.
