Over the bell I get this message second time in row. Be honest say be back in 1/2 hour

I'm a creature of habit and this applies to my dry cleaning regimen every Saturday between 10-11am I pick up and drop off. Repeat. Lapels is excellent. Always professional. Service is quick and efficient. And the employees behind the counter are kind.I highly recommend.

They called me this morning to confirm I still needed assistance with an alteration and sent a follow up message! Open communication has been GREAT and even provided a ballpark price quote! Very happy with them, and havent even brought my dress in yet! **CONTINUED** I am beyond impressed with this business. Long story short, my apartment complex lost my dress I ordered for my brothers wedding and I was scrambling to find a dress days before flying out to CA for my brothers wedding. I brought the dress in Friday afternoon, like 1:30/2PMish and had to bring the dress in significantly (ended up finding a dress last minute on FBMP a few sizes too big) and it was ready Tuesday evening after work! Its like it was originally made that size from the company! Beautiful work, flawless execution of this alteration. They had transparent communication around what they were gonna be doing and to say I am impressed is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I am shouting praise from the rooftops for this business and please dont keep hunting for dry cleaning/alterations.. THIS is your place!

I dropped off 4 jackets on Friday, July 3rd for dry cleaning (with one small alteration for a hole in a jacket pocket). I was given a pickup date one week later, Friday July 10th. I arrived the following Tuesday, July 14th only to learn my items were not in the store despite the additional 4 days. After waiting for the gentleman behind the counter to place a few phone calls to locate my order, I was handed his cell phone and spoke with who I can only assume was the manager. I was told the jackets were still offsite due to one of the jackets being identified as "at risk" of being damaged, if dry cleaned. I found it inconsiderate that no one bothered to call me before making the trip to the store to learn for myself but honestly, not the end of the world. I was asked if I wanted them to dry clean it anyways and risk potential damage, or if I would instead wish for them to leave that jacket out and be given "store credit" for the dry clean purchase of that jacket. I responded clearly to please simply return the jackets - do not risk damage - and we will figure out the compensation (wasn't thrilled about having store credit pushed as the solution as I use dry cleaning services maybe once every 4-5 years and certainly would hesitate to be a return customer for this particular business given the experience so far). He agreed and told me the jackets would be available for pickup the next day. I received a call the next day, Wednesday, July 15th that my order had arrived and is ready for pickup. I returned to the store Monday, July 20th where the manager accepted my ticket, hung my jackets on the rack for me to take, and began what looked to be the steps of issuing a store credit. During that time, I instantly noticed the jacket "not dry cleaned" was in fact damaged due to significant bleeding red ink from the patches onto the white fabric. I immediately pointed this out to the manager, who quickly became defensive almost to the point of gaslighting me that I should have expected it. To be clear: I was asked directly if I wanted to assume the risk of damage and dry cleaning it after they identified the jacket as a risk. I told them clearly "no" and now I can't help but wonder if they had already damaged the item and had hoped I would have said "yes" to free them of responsibility. But I will never know for sure. I was told "We don't know it's going to do that until we do it." So is it then my mistake that I trusted their expertise to know EXACTLY that? In fact, that would seem to me to be the point of the hesitation expressed in the earlier phone call. His tone was stern, defensive, and at times aggressive or belittling. I feel confidently that he had no intention of discussing the damaged item with me had I not forced the conversation, and he would have been more than content for me to walk right out his door unknowingly. I do not own a business, but I've been a patron to many in 30+ years. I would not have returned either way but wouldn't have taken the time to write this review had any consideration to me as a customer been given. A recommendation? How about a phone call when you noticed the damage, "Hello sir. We've received your jackets back and I'm very sorry to inform you that one of the jackets was damaged in the process. While these things rarely happen, you trusted us with your valuables and we at Saber take that responsibility very seriously. Please come in so that we can look over the jacket together and come to an agreement on how we can make this right. Your business is important to us." Instead, I was met with rudeness and indifference. Saber provided a cash refund of $27 for the dry cleaning, and that's it. Sadly, the damaged item is vintage and not easily or cheaply replaceable. Two of the other three jackets appear fine, including the hole in the pocket. A third, however, wasn't cleaned to satisfaction (will share picture). I immediately took the damaged jacket next door to Jones Dry Cleaning to see if it was fixable but was unfortunately told no. There are many, many dry cleaners in the Charlotte area. I encourage any curious reader to strongly consider them over Saber.

We began shopping for my daughter's wedding dress on November 9, 2024 for her upcoming wedding…read moreApril 26, 2025. We went to Bridal Place as we had found prom dresses there in the past. J showed Hatie her Pinterest board with black and white (two-tone) dresses giving her an idea of what she was looking for. Hatie showed us a beautiful black dress and advised they could customize it to J's specifications making it everything she wanted -- off-the shoulder rather than spaghetti straps, add some white layers and additional alterations. We purchased the dress and paid for the initial customized alterations. The first fitting after alterations, J couldn't step into the dress as it had been sewn together leaving no opening. This was corrected while we were there, but the dress was not yet as expected. Hatie assured us they could still fulfill the vision. We paid a second alterations invoice. We traveled to Bridal Place for several fittings and finally on April 12, 2025 (two weeks before the wedding), we took the dress as it was at the time and had the complete vision fulfilled in short time with someone else. The result was everything J wanted and the complete vision! Because Hatie was very helpful and I was trusting her expertise and advice, I purchased the MOB dress from a catalog, as did 2 others - all requiring alterations. The alterations to my dress were so poorly done I took it to another alterations person who advised the dress was beyond repair (see photos attached) and purchased a second dress one week before my daughter's wedding which also required alterations. One of the other dresses ended up in the same situation, was taken elsewhere for repair and followed suit with unfixable alterations and purchase of another dress on Tuesday before the Saturday wedding and alterations completed 2 days before the wedding. There was so much unnecessary stress involved in the dress debacle. During the initial visit in November, we saw a sign advertising a sale on tuxedoes. My daughter took the groom, her father and future father-in-law for fittings and measurements on December 21, 2024. They went to pick up the tuxes on March 8, 2025 and encountered more disaster. There was no sign indicating the available-for-purchase tuxes were previously used rentals (see attached pic from BP's facebook page). Some of the pieces were well worn, stained, and mismatched. In spite of having been "measured and fitted," and paying for the "tux orders" upfront, 2 men were given XL shirts, requiring the purchase of additional shirts in the appropriate sizes elsewhere. I discussed the tux incident with Hatie and suggested BP should have a sign indicating the tuxes available for order/purchase were previously used, worn rentals. I was well aware the tuxes were being offered at a very inexpensive rate, but it never occurred to us we were "ordering/purchasing" used garments. We made unnecessary visits to BP due to a lack of communication between the small staff making it impossible to pick up items at appointments although the items were at BP (example, being at BP on Saturday and making a trip back on Monday from Charlotte to pick up the groom's replacement vest and tie because the staff person was not there on Saturday and no one knew if they had arrived.) I placed a call when they opened at 11 am Monday and was advised yes the pieces were in and actually were on Saturday. This situation caused unnecessary concern for the bride over the weekend and until we had the pieces in hand to know the condition of the items. We felt really good about BP the day of purchase of the wedding dress. Hatie had the vision but after months of alterations going wrong, dresses messed up to the point they couldn't be repaired, the tux fiasco and not being able to rely on them to know where our already paid for items were, this was an unpleasant and extremely stressful experience. You can find a beautiful dress among their selection, but I would refrain from allowing them to do anything more than minor alterations.
