BEWARE!! I trusted them to clean my drapes and they were returned to me ruined. I've had them cleaned multiple times before and thought I would try Freemans as it's closer to where I live. Bottom line: Freeman's Dry Cleaning let me down big time. They missed deadlines, changed my pickup date without telling me, and didn't seem to care how it messed up my plans. Here's what happened-- I needed my clothes by Thursday, and at first, everything seemed fine. Then I came back Thursday afternoon, and they told me my clothes wouldn't be ready until later that evening. Okay, no problem--I waited and came back Friday afternoon just to give them extra time. On Friday, I picked up most of my clothes, but Lauren decided--without asking me--that my black suit jacket wouldn't be cleaned until Monday. I told her that wasn't going to work because I had a business trip and needed it for my flight Monday morning. She acted unsure and said it was because of some spots that needed extra time. I tried to stay patient and went back Monday morning, only to find out my jacket still wasn't ready. Lauren told me to come back later in the afternoon--no apology, no explanation. When I asked why no one called me about the delay, she said it's company policy not to notify customers about changes. She even admitted she might have made a mistake on the ticket but still didn't take responsibility. I get that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and accountability was ridiculous. Freeman's is affordable and reasonable. I brought my clothes to Freeman's and the clothes was folded up nice and the clothes were whiter than I ever had. If it wasn't for them I'd have been throwing my Beverly Hills Polo Club jogging pants away. The only holes around here is in Rick B's story. I have photos to prove they did a good job. The Owner (the woman not the man) was very polite and she even took the initiative to learn from an employee or manager that's been in the store for a while. Personally I don't know of most owners that want to learn to do the stuff themselves. Most owners want their hired help to know things so that they can do nothing but supervise. Had a brand new kilt, wore it one time and the kid's spilled a bit of ice cream on it. Took it to Freeman's to have it cleaned and it came back with a hole in it. We brought it back and were told that we'd get a call from the owner, he never called. We went up there after a while and spoke to the owner, who was very rude and unprofessional. They claimed that the hole was already there, which it was not, and said that they made note on the ticket. They produced a ticket with no note. They then said "oh we saw the after you dropped it off" and I pointed out how their stories were conflicting (the owner and another employee were telling two different stories at the same time). Eventually, I flat out told the owner that I didn't believe him due to the holes in the story and he got angry, insulted me and my Scottish heritage, then stormed off like a child.
