I got my phone fixed here recently and JT was awesome! My charge port wasn't holding the cable and JT cleaned it out for me and told me I could pay him what I wanted so I gave him $15. He also told me that there's 8 pins in the charge port and if you clean it out yourself you have to be very careful not to damage those pins. Absolutely the best service I have ever received. I have an old MacBook Pro (2011-ish) was soooo slow and pretty much took like 30 minutes just to open. Pretty much unusable. Brought it in and Tino said that he can put in a new hard drive and transfer the data back over and it will run like a new car. Way cheaper than buying a new MacBook. My computer was giving Tino some issues because of the slow/old hard drive, and things were taking longer to upload to the new drive. And he went the extra mile and worked overtime on it and made sure it was back in my hands before the weekend was over. It runs like new. He uninstalled any thing that was virus related and also installed some really helpful computer cleaner apps ( to keep it running nice) He walked me through patiently what he did and showed me everything that I asked him about. This is a place that does things the right way. Dropped my iPad3 and broke the glass last night, took it to LAPC Networking after reading the reviews on Yelp. Could not be happeier it is now fixed in just a few hours and everything works a looks like new. I did break the glass on this iPad about 8 months ago and used the insurance I got from Target to replace it. That was a bad idea because first it took 6 weeks to ship to Michigan try to fix it and I had to send it back because glass was falling off so another 6 weeks to have it worked on again. It never work right or look right from the Target insurance. Never again will I use Target Store insurance. Tino at LAPC not only fixed my iPad3 to work and look like new but took the time to explain what he had to do to fix what the other guys from the insurance could not. First the other guys (Target Insurance) put a second layer of tape to hold the glass that then held the glass out of the case (that drove me crazy) but then they also used super glue on the other side and didn't get the wires flat. This caused the iPad to never read level so switching from Landscape to Portrait did work very well and the way they fixed it was also part of the reason the glass cracked so easy this time. Yes Tino set me up with a great solid case for just $20 I will be going here for all my computer and iPad / iPhone needs. read more

Last weekend, I activated a new phone number through a pre-paid-unlimited plan (Straight Talk) that a friend of mine had recommend. For some reason, I was able to make/receive phone calls and send/receive text messages only, but, my data plan was not working at all. Soon, I found out that StraightTalk's software was not compatible wit the new iOS6. A couple of days later, by recommendation of a friend, I walked into the LAPC shop to see if they could help me. Within a minute, Tino was able to unlock my phone. I also found out that the iPhone 4S that I had bought from a friend of mine was not unlocked because it is meant to be used with AT&T only. So, thanks to Tino, I got a lot of questions answered and I am considering now switching over to a T-Mobile's unlimited plan as soon as my first month with ST ends. Thank you, Tino. I brought my phone to a place on Lankershim at Victory. It was not ready when they told me to come back 1.5 hours later. Then I waited another 45 min. The guy came out and said he could not get a screen to work. He said he tried 3 screens and none worked. I was freaking because a new iPhone was going to cost me $500. I read the reviews on Yelp and brought it to LAPC. Tino opened the phone and showed me all the screws the other guy did not put back. Tino fixed the screen in 30 minutes and it worked perfectly. Later that day, my SIM card failed and I called him and he walked me through how to reset it in a heartbeat and bang, I was back in business. No wonder this place gets such great reviews. Returned to LAPC today with the iPad they had repaired 6 months ago. About 4 weeks ago, I noticed a small crack in the glass screen near the top of the case, near the corner which had hit the floor, six months earlier. They did a great job on the repair and I supplied a glowing review for them on Yelp/ The crack became longer (bigger) as the weeks passed, but the touch screen still worked perfectly. Finally, today I tried to swipe the screen with my fingers, and there was no longer an effect on the iPad's operation. So, today I brought it back to LAPC. My hope was to discuss repairing the screen again, and I was prepared to pay for the repair and then, offer more money to extend the warranty. TIno told me my iPad had been dropped again, or someone had sat, or pushed down on the screen with force. It's absolutely "possible" that something happened to the screen...again. BUT, I've been keeping this iPad exclusively in a desk drawer in my office. Over the past 4 weeks I've seen the crack in the glass grow even though the unit was rarely used, and to the best of my knowledge, never dropped or had pressure exerted upon it. I told Tino, I wanted to have it repaired again, but questioned if it would just crack again in 4-6 months. Tino said it wouldn't crack if I didn't drop it, or exert pressure on the case. I repeatedly told Tino that I had seen the crack grow with time and TIno repeatedly told me I was wrong. Six months earlier, I had no problem telling Tino that I had originally dropped the Ipad. I'd have no problem telling LAPC I dropped it this time too...BUT a small crack grew into a large crack over time...it was not dropped and then a crack appeared. The glass face was also starting to squeeze out the case, which he insisted was again, caused by the dropping and/or squeezing of the iPad. I'm sure Tino didn't like to hear that the iPad was not dropped, but I didn't like to be repeatedly told that I must be dropping and applying pressure to my iPad. I picked up my iPad and left. I did not blame LAPC for ANYTHING. They repaired the original problem and the repair worked fine through their 60 day guarantee. Tomorrow, I'll try to find a shop that will repair the glass and guarantee the repair for a longer period of time, when a larger payment for a longer guarantee is provided. read more

I was a little skeptical when reading about this place, but I dropped my iphone 5s 12 stories and it needed to be fixed. You can only imagine what this thing looked like! Shattered glass, unusable LCD screen, and warped metal frame. Seriously, my iphone looked like a big heaping pile of $#!%. I brought it to these guys to expect hundreds of dollars in repairs and they told me $136 to completely fix everything! Still in a bit of disbelief, he then said it would be done in 45 minutes! So I said something to the effect of "Ok, Buddy" He called on time, said the phone was fixed and it was ready whenever I wanted to come pick it up. I got to the store and the damn thing looked brand new!! (Aside from a scuff on the side) These guys are great and very well priced. I highly recommend them for your repairs. read more

This place rocks! I dropped my iphone in the pool a few months back, and had it serviced somewhere else. It worked ok after that, but had a lot of funny bugs related to the loudspeaker and volume control buttons, that drove me crazy! A friend recommended Tino at LAPC, so I called and told him my issues. Just a little update! i dropped my phone YET AGAIN! they were the first place that i went to. i told them that i had come earlier in the year to get my phone fixed from them and they gave me a discount because i was a previous customer. i was so excited! I also ended up getting my vibrate toggle fixed and they gave me a discount on top of the previous discount. all in all, i got a new LCD screen and my toggle fixed for 85 bucks. this service is a STEAL! they deserve the 5 stars. the guys are super friendly and very helpful! I wanted to give the iphone to my dad but he is with Verizon and my phone was an AT&T phone. Tino was kind enough to switch it for a Verizon iphone 4S he had complimentary! He was even patient as I went in there with my 1 year old (who runs, not walks lol) every time who made a mess in the shop and bugged his peers but they were very kind and picked him up and played with him to pass the time as Tino fixed the issues I came in with.
