I've visited this spot a few times and have been seated in different areas each time--it's a spacious venue, but I think I prefer the outdoor seating for the atmosphere. Even though it had been a while since my last visit, everything still felt familiar in the best way. As always, the service was on point, even with a full crowd. Our drinks and hookah came out quickly, and I really appreciate the traditional vibe of the place. Last night, I had the Greek salad (no olives or cheese) with added chicken--and wow, the chicken was incredibly tender! The veggies were fresh and flavorful. I devoured the whole thing. I also ordered a tropical kiwi, which was refreshing, and we shared a pot of hot black mint tea. Our hookah flavor was a mix of watermelon, blueberry, and mint--super smooth. We are not in the area often, and so when we are, I like to try different places. This place seems very modern and clean, and I really wish we had more places like that on the north side. The service was good, although we had to sit outside because the hookah smoke smell was just too strong for me inside. So that's definitely a negative because we should be able to eat inside where AC is without having to sit in a cloud. But being from michigan, I feel like we really know our middle eastern food and this place is good. We were there for lunch, so we had the mixed grill and some other grill items that were good. I personally didn't love the kibbeh. I would recommend skipping the desserts and going down to Phonecias for that. read more

Stopped by for a late night dinner and was very happy with our choice! The space is quite large with both ample indoor and outdoor space. Hookah is going down everywhere so consider moving outside if you prefer some fresh air. Heaters were abundant and also a play area for the kids. It was about 830-9 pm on a Wednesday and still had a pretty good crowd. Menu is located on a QR code. We opted for the mixed grill which came with two sides. We chose rice and hummus as our sides. This is honestly one of my favorite spots to eat, I've been here plenty of times and it's usually amazing. The Greek salad is always a go-to for me, and the chicken is solid. This time, though, I decided to try something different and went with the lamb shank... not really my thing. Plus, my salad came out with brown lettuce, which was disappointing. It's always super vibey and it's always nice to sit in the glass room. The service was a bit slower than usual too, our waitress took a while to check in on us. It just didn't feel like the same experience I've had in the past, which was a bummer. That said, I've had enough great meals here to not let one off day ruin it. This is one of the best places you can visit in Houston!! Their food is incredible and their BEST menu item is the mint lemonade. The cup is huge and you must try it if you're in the area! I've literally gone just for the mint lemonade when I'm in the area. You can sit inside or outside. Went to this Halal restaurant for the first time, for the Eid buffet, and the overall experience was not good! It was $35+service charge+tax. What was so ridiculous was that water was not even included in that high price! They charge extra $2 for a small water bottle. On top, server never bothered to tell us that there will be an extra charge for a water bottle and just included in our bill. Parking was also not covered and we were charged for it. Definitely a huge rip-off for what you got for the amount you paid for. When it comes to food, it was just okay and nothing special. There were no beef items beside the ground beef and ground beef with potatoes. Last but not least, we called few days ago for reservation due to a potential high crowd on the Eid day. To our surprise, we were told to just show up and it will be on a first come first serve basis. What a disaster it was and not sure whose idea was that. We had to wait over an hour to be seated as it was chaotic and out of control. I will not recommend or go to this place specially if it is going to be a religious/festival day. read more

His daughter, my Goddaughter, explained to me and my daughter that we'd love this place because it had a playground, good French fries and healthy drinks. She was right on all accounts. We've visited the Dallas location several times and have always had exceptional service, but this location was a completely different experience. The service was frustrating to say the least. Once seated, it was difficult to get anyone's attention. It took a long time for someone to come by to take our order, and throughout the meal the staff rarely checked in. The service felt inattentive and unfriendly, which was surprising given how much we enjoy this restaurant. So are the lamb chops, hummus and whole fish. Great hookah too! My favorite blend is love 66. Clean and spacious. It's also family friendly and has a big outdoor play area for the children. During Ramadan on Sunday they have a HUGE dinner buffet. That's one of the best times to go and you can try so many dishes! Also don't forget to check out the mint lemonade!!!! read more

They need to keep an eye on the kitchen, the fries was cold and double fried, the shawerma fries used to be great today it was like rubber. Server was very nice and helpful. They are not in a rush here so go to enjoy and relax. We sat on the back patio it's large and perfect when the weather is nice. They have a kids play ground and the area is big. So if you don't smoke hookah and want to go and be away from the smoke the patio is perfect. Inside is nice and large with lots of TV if you want to watch sports. Found this place through IG and of course bookmarked it so when I was in this side could give it a go, and I'm sure glad I did! I love Mediterranean food and all the photos looked great and the atmosphere as well, so I looped my coworkers together and off we went! When we pulled up the outside of the building was beautiful and inviting. We walked in and their was a small bakery counter to the left with a brick oven in the back as well. We were greeted promptly and were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Lots of space indoors and outdoors and also has a private dining space that you can have private parties in. I love that there was so much space to spread out, and plugs in Al the walls so should you hang out for a work day, you're plugged in and good to go. This place seems very authentic in my opinion, lots of hookah around as well, and all the food looked amazing it was so hard to decide! I got the samosas (half and half) as I couldn't decide which I wanted. I liked them both but prefer the beef! Also I ordered the chicken Schwarma with fries and it was absolutely delicious with the garlic sauce that comes with it. You can sub out your fries for a salad! Everything that came out look phenomenal, I wasn't able to finish all my food, so it was nice to have something for later on. The one thing I would say that would be helpful to know is water came out in a bottle so you're charged $3 for that and then gratuity is added in already as well. Came on a Sunday at 3pm. It was very busy. Service was relatively slow but it makes sense due to the crowd. Gyro plate: this was good. The spicy fries were very good. Words cannot encompass how much I love this place. On my recent trip to Houston, LaPasha was THE highlight. The only way I can describe this establishment is that this is a place that has something for everybody. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating, with a large tree with sparkly lights and string lights. They have a play area for kids... it never ends. The ambience is upbeat and the energy here is amazing. They have different djs come during the week to play music, which is fire. I have never been to a place that has a more diverse patronage. Everybody from single groups of guys, gals, families, and everything in between can be found here. In this aspect, I can easily say LaPasha is an institution of its own. The hostesses are super nice and accommodating. On our first visit our waiter, Mohamed (from Ramallah) was incredible and made amazing suggestions. On our second visit, our waitress Dina was even better and went above and beyond to make sure we had the time of our life here. I love the mint lemonade here and the tricolor smoothie Is also amazing. We haven't tried much of their food but desserts have been pretty amazing. The kanafa is my favorite. It is appropriately cheesy, crunchy and sweet. The rice pudding is also very good. The hookah here is absolutely perfect. I highly suggest getting a fruit head for a great experience. We came here for my cousin's 30th birthday and my older cousin made the reservation. It ended up being two more people for the reservation but they didn't mind and accommodated two more seats. Everyone else got full meals but I wasn't hungry and opted for dessert. I got a strawberry, banana, Nutella waffle and a pot of green tea. The tea was delicious, as was the waffle. The ambience was calm but I wish they dimmed the lights a little bit. It was so bright in there that I got a headache. The atmosphere would be so much better if they just turned the lights down a bit. Overall, it was a good time and I'd definitely go back again. Grilled vegetables and onions were crunchy, and finally the hummus was soo creamy that it was the perfect dip. The food and service is what keeps me coming back even though the wait is crazy! On Saturday night I waited over an hour to get my table! Then the table that was given to us, was a tiny table that they stuck behind a small wall, and the chairs was basically towards the walkways. I cannot tolerate people constantly walking behind me. And is what made the 3 star I was going to give a 4. He was excellent. Very attentive and nice. The food I already knew was going to be good because I've eaten here before. I haven't been disappointed with any of the dishes. My advice is not to go there when you're already very hungry because you will turn Hangry with that wait. Part of the problem why the wait is that long is because it is also a hookah bar and people stay a long time after they've already eaten to chill and smoke their hookah. I don't think restaurant and hookah lounge mesh well together in that regard. You lose customers that want to eat because of the wait. Maybe a good thing for them to do inside the restaurant is to impose a 2 hour seating time. And you can stay as long as you want smoking hookah outside on the patio. read more
