The other day, someone tried to break into my car, and when I called the guard shack, they sent a guard out right away. He actually caught the guy and did a citizen's arrest. The police came and took him away, and they found some of my stuff on him. Thanks, Cobalt Security!

Why would Jackson tell Garett the guards did not take the crank when he knew that was untrue? What was done to conclude "Nothing was able to be identified from the footage."? Considering we know the location and time the footage should clearly show someone taking the crank. Also, you have time records. Who was working for Cobalt at Seabridge Wednesday, 9/15/2021, between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.? Thank you. I received no response. From Cobalt: Date: Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM Subject: RE: Cobalt Security at Seabridge 93035, inconsistent statements with Jackson and Garett. My name is Andrew I'm one of the owners. Nothing was able to be identified from the footage. Also, what was said to Garett most recently and why would Garett say, "I also just asked Jackson if his guards take it and he said they do not. "? "This is what the police officer was informed of and if Garett asked if one of the guards took the crank it may have been a misconstrued he was asking in a malicious way." I cannot speak for Garett. You'd have to ask him. From me: Sent: Tuesday, February 8, 2022 9:33 AM Subject: Re: Cobalt Security at Seabridge 93035, inconsistent statements with Jackson and Garett. To clarify, who am I speaking with and what is your title? What was said to Garett near the time of the incident and why would Garett say, " I asked Cobalt to review any footage to see if they could identify someone taking it but they couldn't." Thank you. From Cobalt: Date: Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 9:26 AM Subject: RE: Cobalt Security at Seabridge 93035, inconsistent statements with Jackson and Garett. I'm aware of the situation that you are referring. I think there may have been some miscommunication over the months since this occurred. I don't think there was any ill intent from any party in the conversations that you had with them: police, Garett or Jackson. But, when you speak to three different parties you're going to get three different answers, even if slightly different. The guards did not "take" the crank. One of the guards found the crank removed from the window and took it back to the guard house. This is what the police officer was informed of and if Garett asked if one of the guards took the crank it may have been a misconstrued he was asking in a malicious way. I apologize that the situation has caused you so much grief and Jackson has been talked to about the communication and expressing in a more clear manner the answers that he is giving. Take care. -Cobalt Security From me: Sent: Sunday, February 6, 2022 5:20 PM Subject: Cobalt Security at Seabridge 93035, inconsistent statements with Jackson and Garett. Who does Jackson report to? I would like someone above Jackson to please address my concerns and let me know in writing what happened with the crank that was taken, what video was seen or if not seen why not if no one looked at the video of someone stealing the crank, and what was told to Garett / property management of Seabridge HOA. It appears Jackson is either telling the police and I a different story than he is saying to Garett or Garett is not being accurate what Jackson told him. Thank you. Garett Guenot is our Community Asset Mgr. for PMP Management, who I refer to above, so I am including this for completeness. I have been told false information and asked reasonable questions which have never been answered in the months that I requested. I reported a theft promptly including the location and time the video footage should clearly show the thief. I reported this to PMP management / Garett Guenot, as well as to Cobalt security. Garett said Jackson from Cobalt said the guards did not take the property (a crank), yet Jackson contradicts Garett by telling me and the police that Jackson told Garett the truth, which is the guards did take the property. Yet Garett and PMP have not confirmed the truth nor apologized for this terrible handling of this whole situation, nor indicated what will be done in the future to avoid such problems. I was told, "Nothing was able to be identified from the footage." I asked: How was this conclusion made? Did PMP look at the footage which should clearly show the theft? Did they take the word of Cobalt who took the crank and then told Garett they did not? What will be done to make sure Cobalt / Jackson behaves properly in the future? I received no answers. When I gave Garett an opportunity to explain his side of what happened before posting on Yelp... instead of thanking me, he became defensive, refused to help further and stated I should bring it up at the board meeting.

This left me shaken up. I spoke with several other companies and then Vernon came out. I can say that immediately you feel safe in his presence and it's very clear he cares about ensuring people are safe and FEEL safe in their homes. He is a former cop and it shows. He is someone with the experience and instincts to really understand safety and that was very apparent in our conversations. He's not a salesman - he's a security expert who knows what you need and is honest and direct. He didn't try to upsell me on excessive unnecessary items like other companies. He asked about my goals and truly sought to understand exactly what I wanted before giving his suggestions. I asked tons of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently. The best part about the experience was he could instantly tell I was shaken up from a previous incident and was so compassionate while still being direct. He talked to me about how to keep myself safe in case of another break-in given the layout of the new house and improve overall house safety in other ways. He even noticed the doors weren't installed correctly and missing tiny parts that make a door super easy to kick in. You don't always get more bang for your buck and it's definitely much more expensive than a DIY Google Nest self install, but I will sleep better at night knowing I got the true expert advice I needed to keep myself and my home safe. Due to the permitting system in the area and the issues with the owner of the house I lease there may be issues with getting one feature but I am going very out of my way to find a way to get what he thinks I need. So glad I made that last call to APS.
