The company runs lean, and they do not have a normal "help desk" when you call, so you don't always get an answer or help immediately, but I still give them five stars because they care about your experience with this and they make up for it once you get their highly competent technician on your case. Joe set up the software on two computers in only a couple of minutes and it feels like these cameras are sturdy and will continue running through at least a few generations of computers. After searching for a process server, I settled on Andrea Dayton. While I will say the papers were…read moreserved in a reasonable and timely fashion, her services were pricey, and her much of her services were not well explained or told upfront. We agreed to a price of $210 for the papers to be served. She then referred me to someone named Johnny to have them serve the papers. To my surprise, I was charged an additional $240 dollars for skip-tracing, which I was not made aware of nor did I agree to until after the fact. In total, the amount came to $450. Were they unable to serve the papers, I already agreed to the $210, but I would've liked to have been informed of the additional service before they continued as I did not have enough personal funds to cover this additional cost. We could've come to a new agreement, or I would've sought someone else. In all honesty, I feel cheated. Overall, I will conclude that the process service was quick (if a little a pricey), but I had no one willing to serve for me, so the price was fair to me. However, the lack of communication on tacked-on additional services without my consent leaves me wondering if I made the right choice contacting Dayton. Edit: Upon uploading this review, Andrea Dayton called me. As it turns out, the person named Johnny does not work for her, but was instead a separate process server. Dayton confirmed that her prices hover around $100-$150 for process serving depending on the difficulty. However, she introduced Johnny as her "partner" when on a three-way call with him, not as a separate party. I believed I was still working with Dayton's company the entire time and was being charged the original $210 service. And never once have I been texted, faxed, mailed, or e-mailed an invoice for services before the service began, only oral agreement. Again, the lack of communication created this awkward situation. Another Edit: While my disgruntleness is there and has mostly dissipated, out of respect for Mr. Johnny, whom I had a respectful conversation with, I will be changing my rating in hopes this will be a growing experience for Andrea Dayton and a case of miscommunication and leave it at that. I have no standing to attest or protest her services as she did not personally serve or assist, only to transfer me to Mr. Johnny. Anyone seeking her services, I ask that you both confirm what either party is asking for, and confirm if she is the one who will be serving of not. It would be unfair to leave this review negative, as the job was completed.
