They are not proactive in any way and many residents complain to me that they don't even respond to emails and if they do it can be 3 or 4 days later. I even tried twice to meet with the owner who refused and instead had me meet with the terrible agent instead which went nowhere. There time is up, don't let the door hit you in the ass RH. ( They clearly do not have rugs or carpeting) It sounds like a fat heavy elephant is walking around. When my parents moved into parkchester decades ago it was a requirement for tenants. People blast music without any consideration for their neighbors. My floor thank goodness so far is quiet but the constant noise from above my apartment is crazy. Parkchester will not be able to retain decent tenants with these kind of people living here. Also they charge 3000 dollars to break your lease. I had a housing connect apartment which I turned down for this I should have listened to my daughter and taken the housing connect apartment. I've been here less than a month and I am ready to move. The building I grew up in people I knew cared about parkchester and tried to keep it nice I see that has changed unfortunately its sad to see what used to be a nice place to live is like the projects now. Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Residents were also very nice and friendly. I enjoyed my stay in the busy and stressful city thanks to all of them. As other people mention, the contract & deposit return may need improvements. They are too busy and it's hard to catch them. When I wanted to make a regular contract to 6 month after living 3 years, I needed to call several times / several days to catch them and get the special contract. However, they made it 6 month in the end. Another difficulty was when I requested security deposit return. In both cases, the building's super & doormen kindly helped me a lot and he talked to the company directly. The well maintained and secured building, super and doormen are definitely 5 stars. I'd give it 5 stars when they improve the contract management part.

I also located listings on third-party platforms where the same company was identified as the broker or leasing agent. I provided them with specific unit information that met my needs and requirements. Despite this, I never received any follow-up communication. Each time I contacted them, I was told that someone would get back to me, but I never received a response. Meanwhile, the units I inquired about were eventually marked as no longer available, with no explanation or update provided to me. The lack of communication, especially after disclosing my voucher, raises concerns that I may have been intentionally ignored or treated unfairly. Even when I reply with the following messages I still haven't received any response (I'm feeling a bit confused and concerned. I've asked several specific questions about the units and have not received clear responses, including my request for the location of your office. At this point, I would prefer to speak with someone in person, as communicating only through messages has not been effective for me. Please let me know where your office is located and when I can come in to discuss the available units directly.
