The Langhorne Hotel has anchored the corner of Maple and Bellevue for a couple of centuries. The world around it may have changed, but this establishment has not, except for a few architectural modifications to accommodate the uses to which it was being put. This is both good and not so. Walking into the tavern area throws you into the Eighteenth Century, where the local Sons of Liberty gathered to plot the Revolution. Downside, the beer selection is from the same era. The dining area is also dated to about 1890. The menu is solid for a 1960's kitchen. Everything is well prepared and tasty, but if you want something in the way of vegetarian, vegan, or even contemporary cuisine, it will be hard to find. The burgers, traditional Italian, and usual suspects are present. As long as that is what you want, you will be satisfied. Today I tried the Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions in red sauce over Linguini for a lunch special. At $7.99 the price was right. I enjoyed the meal, but there was nothing memorable about it. We turned lunch into a work meeting and remained for more than an hour after we finished eating. The room was practically deserted on a August Friday afternoon. We were not rushed, and the room was comfortable, if somewhat brown in tone. A new menu, broader beer options, fresh coat of paint and new carpets would go a long way to bring the Langhorne Hotel a new clientele. But, if they did that, the Sons of Liberty in the tavern might go elsewhere to plot our way to independence. Maybe we are wise to leave well enough alone.

While out Christmas shopping we stopped into the Langhorne Hotel for a quick break and bite to eat. Not disappointed with our decision. Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, BBQ chicken sandwich and a basket of wings. Flavorful, fairly priced and rustic vintage atmosphere made it the perfect rest stop to fuel up before heading back out holiday shopping.

From early conversations with the event manager to the way the entire staff treated me yesterday on-site, Vault's customer service is unmatched. I'd been exchanging emails with Sarah (the event manager) since February to ensure the space was the right fit. Sarah answered all my questions, responded to me in a timely manner, provided ample time for my bridesmaids and I to set up decor and we were permitted to bring our own cake and desserts. The bartender allowed me to Airdrop my custom bridal shower playlist to an iPad that was connected to their surround sound speakers so I could play the music I intended to play. She was attentive, kind and placed purses and miscellaneous items in the back area so it wouldn't be in guest view. She cut the cake for us towards the end of the event. Truly such outstanding service. The event space is located downstairs, completely separate from the main dining area and there is a private restroom. It was a wonderful size for my guest count of 16 people. Everyone in attendance raved about the chicken nachos and the pizza. I personally loved the Wild Mushroom pizza. The food kept getting refilled as the day went on. Each item was labeled and the bar had several menus to look at. This was executed PERFECTLY. I had such a positive experience and would highly recommend Vault Brewing Co. for all your event needs!

We all tried a different beer and everyone enjoyed them. I won't break down each plate of food but everything we had was very good. The building is an old bank and is very cool. What impressed me most was how honest and customer-focused Nicole was during the planning. The day before the event, she reviewed my food order and actually told me I had ordered too much because she knew how much their trays would feed. She helped me reduce the order rather than trying to sell me more. That's something you don't see very often, and her recommendation was exactly right--we had plenty of food. And the food was excellent. Great pizza, chicken parm, pasta, and some awesome pierogis that were a great recommendation. And surprisingly, the broccoli may have been the best I've ever had. The servers the night of our event were wonderful--very attentive, friendly, and always available. The staff made everything easy and flexible, which was especially appreciated for a meaningful family gathering. The price was also extremely reasonable for hosting a 30-person event. Cosmos is clearly a great neighborhood spot for lunch, dinner, or drinks, but don't overlook them if you're looking for a place to host a private or family event. Reasonable pricing, honest planning, great food, and genuinely great people. Thank you to Liz, Nicole, and the entire Cosmos team for helping make a very special evening such a success.

Happy hour 2.75 domestic pints is solid.... If you can get server. The pierogies are very good (didnt get picture). Fried pickles also very good and not traditional chips, they were more long slivers. Drunken cheesesteak was ok (vodka sauce and mozzarella). Ended with funnel cake strips. They were ok, feel like they needed a vanilla or chocolate sauce to dip.
