I have been to this store a handful of times over the years so this review is long overdue. The employees of this location are some of the nicest, most helpful people. After picking up my online order, I was thinking about shoes but didn't have my size in the store. I love the staff... especially Sarah. Sarah is very helpful and honest. I don't want to hear that something is flattering if it's not. Sarah makes clothing suggestions that I may not have picked out for myself. She has picked out some winners. Yea Sarah! Lane Bryant clothes, especially the tops and the bras, are well made, pretty, flattering, and can often be layered. I am also loving their accessories. I recently bought a pair of sunglasses for under $10 that I simply adore. I don't always love the pants and shorts. Many styles have extra material below the waist that looks funky. Others have extra material in the thigh area. I do love their active wear! Very comfy, maintains shape & color after washing & they look good too. My advice: Make sure you are part of the texting club. Lane Bryant has Flash Sales like 40% off the entire store! If you are too tired to shop in store that day, you can shop online and have your purchase delivered to the store. Lane Bryant is for size 14 and up. They also sell shoes and swimwear. read more

I have to give five stars, being that the staff is fantastic and the clothes are super cute. They are all great; but if u need help figuring out what size to buy, I recommend consulting Ronnie. I'm too tired to write all the things that bugged me about this store so I will just say that the Manager is not a people person. She is fake nice. She makes weird faces at you when you answer one of the many questions they ask. It appears they want to help but in reality they just want to sell more. When I did ask for real help finding sizes and such the lady didn't know anything. I knew more than her and I hadn't been there in probably over a year. All I needed to know I learned in the 20 minutes I was there. Just not a pleasant shopping experience at all. Oh and if you have a coupon the Manager is extra weird and stand offish with you. Terry was really helpful when I said I wanted to find some slacks for my new job. I told her exactly what I was looking for and she really went to all corners of the store to help me get pants that fit right. That's hard because I'm very short. This is a very friendly location! I am a weird in between size where I can buy XL shirts from regular stores, but I need to get pants and bras at plus size stores. They are always super helpful and accommodating here. I try to go when there is a sale but sometimes it's not always possible. My last visit I was okay with paying full price for all my merchandise but the cashier let me in on a coupon that you needed to text Lane Bryant for so I got an extra 10% off. I was just in the other day and I am going to agree with someone who commented below me on the subject, these women are aggressive. I was in there because someone from the Camarillo Outlets who also works for a Lane Bryant recommended I check out the sports bras from there, the girl bertha or beth came over right away to assist me, she asked what I was looking for and when I told her she showed me the sports bras. Then, she asked me my size and when I told her she looked at me funny and asked if she could measure me. How does one go 4 sizes up in a bra?! Anyways, when I told her where I shopped for my stuff she said my size was wrong and I let her know that depending on the place my size was different so she took me to the fitting room. I tried on the first thing she gave me and she asked if she could see it, sadly I told her I felt uncomfortable because besides myself and the mirror I was self conscious and no one had ever seen me before..I opened the door and infact she was right I needed to go a size up. But the sad part isn't that. It is that while she insisted I get the credit card to get a free 20 dollar bra..as I was leaving my brother said her and her co-worker were making eyes at each other and talking about me. Because I was not going to buy anything I told her plenty of times I would go back Friday to purchase what I liked and her co-worker at the end was like "if you come back friday and its not here to bad" things like this rarely happen so I thought women should know about my experience. Seeing as they are a plus size store they should be more friendly and not push people to get a credit card. Their salespeople are aggressive in that they put a lot of pressure to sell items or order items. At first, it seemed like good service, but this was bordering on annoying. The sales person also added my email to their marketing campaign, so now I am getting several emails a day (I returned an online order, so they could see my private email address on the receipt and put it in their system for marketing without asking me if I wanted that). read more

The Rudest store. NOT One person greeted me or asked me if I needed assistance. The Manager and her assistant was folding clothes right next to me and Neither of them acknowledged me. Someone came in after me and they were greeted and asked if they needed assitance. Maybe I wasnt dressed apprpriately? I was in sweats and they tbought I coukdnt afford to shop at their store? My daughter and I love this store. The cashiers are always helpful and friendly not pushy. If you need space they back off. My daughter is smaller but still loves their clothing.
