I applaud Torrid because they have some of the most compassionate employees out there. They really enjoy working in their establishment. As always they always have a huge selection of items that range from clothing to jewelry. Along with the great staffing this store is always in great shape. Everything is organized, well stocked and easy to find. And if you can't find it, someone is willing to locate it, whether it be in store, or at another store.

I went to Johnstown;s Hot Topic to find a particular PJ set for her and they didnt have it and instead of asking if they could look for the item on the computer in another store they just left me walk out. I then was shopping in the logan Valley Mall and peeked in the store and low and behold there was the night b4 christmas pj's my daughter wanted for christmas. I am not sure if that is because of the influx of employees due to the holidays approaching, but it made for a pleasant experience in shopping. The thing I like about a Ross is that I always end up with something that I didn't know I had a need for. Then when I get home I question myself as to why I bought it. However, I do end up using the item, months down the road.

Ahhh... Ross. When I was younger, I couldn't tell you the difference between TJ Maxx and Ross,…read moreother than my mom didn't care for Ross. Older and wiser, I understand. Ross is a decent chain of discount stores full of clothing and home decor, although the overall inventory isn't as nice as comparable chains. Sometimes I'll find the same item that I found at TJ for a higher price at Ross, and sometimes I'll find brands I can't find at Marshall's for a super low price at Ross, but it's pretty rare. I have yet to find a Ross that's "better" or "worse" than any other Ross, so if you've been to one, you can come to this one knowing what to expect. The inventory doesn't seem to change very often, so I wouldn't go out of my way to frequent this location.

I did not expect to see one in Asheville, that is for sure. Heading back after a jaunt to Altoona, we took the backroads to go home. We needed to make this one final stop. Like most DGs out there, this was recently built and has that typical tin can construction. Mostly medal and a hollow shell of a building. Packed to the gills with merchandise, aisles too narrow, and completely understaffed. Somewhat organized, but without fully stocked items. Carts were more than likely in the back room waiting to head out to the floor, but again, it was understaffed.

My family is a bit more familiar with the brand so we headed on in on a recent road trip in the area. You can tell that this was a building that has been here for a very long time and probably under a different brand name before Weis moved in. With them moving in you can tell that they didn't do much with the condition of the building or any type of expansion. Looks as if they kept it very similar to whomever held this place prior. Not being from the area made for an interesting visit. The parking lot was of a decent size that made finding a parking spot easy. Upon entry to the place grab a cart. There were no carts inside and we did not notice this so had to go back outside to grab a cart. They do seem to have some pretty good sales in here and the place is well organized. Although it is on the smaller side. That translates to not having everything you would think they should under one roof. You also have to remember they are playing to the area and carry what sales here. We did go up and down all the aisles looking to see what we might want to get. Sure enough the cart was fairly full by the time we were about to exit. I personally did not do a lot of shopping, but I did grab a few items that I knew I needed and because of the sales and/or low prices, practically got it for a steal. Decent grocery store that definitely benefits the community.

It is one of my favorite places to buy bras, because their bras fit well, are so comfortable, and wash and dry easily. At this store, I found one bra and one casual shirt to buy. Despite one of the products being on sale, I thought that the prices were higher than what I preferred to spend. In addition, I want to mention that I saw two employees wearing their face masks around their chin and mouth, which obviously does not help much during a pandemic. When I got home, I tried on the shirt, which was a size larger than what I normally buy, and the arms fit well, but the bottom of the shirt was shorter than my preference. The bra fit well.

I came in with an item in my mind that I was hoping they would have. Since this is just the sister store of TJ Maxx/Marshalls, I knew that I might be disappointed. In terms of coming in here for what I was looking for I was disappointed. But not too much because I knew there would be a low possibility they would have a specific item. It was to be a quick stop and then be on our way to the next location. However, on our way out I did see one item that I was going to purchase.
