I recently traveled to Sportsman's Warehouse in Altoona after learning from their website that they had the rod holder I wanted in the size I needed. The website was very clear that this size of this item was in stock, could be ordered online and picked up today ( see attached screenshots). I decided to just drive up and pick them up rather than ordering ahead. When I got to the store I was informed sorry we are out of them. In fact it wasn't just this size they were out of. They only had one of four available sizes in stock. This despite all sizes being listed in stock, available today for pickup in the store. I did get an apology from the salesperson, but that doesn't compensate me for wasting half a day and $20 in gas to get there and back. Don't believe anything you see on their website. They probably haven't got it. This is most disappointing as I really enjoyed shopping there in the past. Guess I'll have to go elsewhere in the future.

He was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. After cancelling my order and issuing a full refund, I went back on their site and ordered the same revolver again. This one came in poor condition as well. Shane, again, spent a ton of time with me, and ultimately I elected for a refund. Smith and Wesson gets a 0/5 stars. Sportsman's Altoona should get 10/5 for how helpful they were. Couldn't have been an easier process with a better staff. I would absolutely go through them again.

I was out searching for shoes while in the area and thought why not give this place a shot. I've…read morebeen to others and know they carry shoes, but would they carry a shoe that I would like? Compared to the Johnstown store, it is like day and night. This location is clean, does not look rundown, and very well lit and organized. I was impressed with that and though I would be in luck. Made my way over to the shoe department and was kind of staring at the display wall. Minding my own business and walking between the maze of displays and shelving I ended up running into an empty endcap. Not just an empty endcap, but one with the hooks on it to hang items off of. The hooks blended so well into the whole unit you cannot see them. I ended up with a pretty good bruise after that. With my arm a little sorer now, I ended up browsing what was there to be offered. The men's section was quite a bit smaller than the women's and not that great of variation to choose from. I ended up calling it, even after checking the clearance section. I ended up leaving here with only the bruise.

If you travel out of the area to ski, as we do, you know that ski season lasts longer than April 1st which is the return date. Do not even return skis more than a few hours late as your down payment will not be refunded. I had surprise surgery that week, still no refund for us when we returned two days late.
