Due to the project being scheduled during the winter, the rain pushed our scheduled date back a bit. My wife was pregnant at the time and I called the office about two weeks prior to our scheduled delivery date. However, we got sent in for an emergency delivery a day or two before they were supposed to come out. Again, they did everything they could have to make sure the process was seamless, and we were left in peace in the hospital, and as much as they could when we returned home. We contacted them through Yelp and received an immediate response to schedule an estimate. I met with Elias, Ezequiel's (the owner) brother for the estimate. Elias was very thorough and knowledgeable about what needed to be repaired and replaced. A day or so later I received the written estimate. We had 4 other companies quote us but RR felt like the right choice. They seemed to be the most realistic about what we needed and up front about how the job would be done, including any on the fly changes/repairs. We were not disappointed. They were great about communication from beginning to end. They took pictures of the work along the way and informed us of additional changes or repairs, which were handled on the spot with no additional charge. There was no guesswork or nickel and diming. They provided quality service and Ezequiel was on the job site throughout. They were respectful of our home, cleaned up after each day, and worked hard to complete in a couple days with permits as well as securing flashing around our HVAC and reinforcing gutters with additional screws. We also asked to have our skylights replaced from an outdated version to a more modern updated skylight. Overall, we give Regal Roofing Solutions 5/5 stars for quality of service and communication. This is the company you need to go with for any roofing projects.

Initially I wanted just to get it repaired since I wanted to get the minimum work needed to get my Mediterranean style home to be sellable when I was ready to put my house on the market. I contacted several roof contractors on Yelp to get an estimate for a roof repairs for Spanish tiles. Some responded they were busy so never came over. A few came to inspect the damage but later ghosted and never even gave me an estimate. Manny was the one person who gave me an estimate for both a repair and a total replacement for my roof. Initially, I went with the roof repair so I could use the savings for other home projects. Manny accepted the work and his team eventually started to address and focus on the damage near my master bedroom and to get tiles that closely match my 50 year old tiles. During the work, Manny later spoke to me and shared the extent of the roof damage and recommended that I replace the whole roof rather than do the patch work Manny was willing to do. Even though the whole replacement of the roof was 4x the price of the repair, I respected Manny's knowledge and honesty that a whole new roof was the way to go. The work took two months since it took a month for the tiles to be ordered and shipped from Southern California. Manny was always easy to reach and kept me up to date on things. His workers showed up early at 7 am and ended their day around 3 pm when it got too hot. Not only did he do my roof but also the gutters that needed replacing. On the final day, Mannys team left my balcony and the area clean of dust and debris. I'm very fortunate to have had Manny and Universal Roofing do my roof when other contractors were not willing to do the task or give an estimate because it was Spanish tiles. Would recommend any homeowner looking for a roofer to fix, repair or replace your roof to contact Universal Roofing since his price is fair and the workmanship and professionalism is outstanding.

Our house has been a work in-progress. It's a 3 story cabin built in the 1930's transitioning to a…read moremodern-farmhouse style home. We've done a lot of work on the interior and have slowly worked our way to the exterior of the house. We went from an ugly asphalt rolled roof to beautiful metal roof that was installed by Valley Roof Consulting. SERVICE - This is a top notch crew! The team comes out to your property to assess what they are working with. This includes . . . - assessing the surrounding perimeter and properties to determine how your rooftop selection could impact the surrounding perimeter and neighbors. - assessing the visibility of your rooftop. In our case, the rooftop of our house is the first thing you see since we live on a hill and our property easement is above our house, therefore curb appeal becomes equally as important to us just as much as the functionality of the roof type we select. - measuring your roof top, the pitch of your roof top, and checking for areas of your roof that may require fixing or replacing. Once they assess the perimeter and the rooftop of your home, they will provide you with your options. These options are based on the assessments they've made, and the requirements by the state of California and county requirements. They will walk you through the options of available roof types, the life of each roof type, and a general idea on what the cost differences are based on the options provided to you. Once you've a decision to go with Valley Roof Consulting and decide on the roof type, the process is pretty seamless, they will be transparent and keep you informed of the status of the project, but will absorb all of the burden required to finally get you to an installation date. (By burden, this includes pulling permits that required a lot of churn with the county and city, getting the material ordered and shipped during a period where supply, demand, and transportation has been met with complexity as a result of the pandemic, inflation, etc.) ONSITE WORK - The most exciting day! Once a date has been established for the work, the team will notify you in advance of the date, and the day before the crew is scheduled to be onsite, they will contact you and let you know how much work space will be required to do the job. In our case, we live on a windy narrow road with limited parking, so knowing in advance what they required helped us to plan where our vehicles needed to be parked. Once on-site, you'll have the project manager onsite, and their crew of guys raring and ready to go! And when I say raring and ready to go, the efficiency as to how they come in, set-up and start the work is seamless. They know what needs to be done! Once they remove the old roof, they'll make sure any old wood is replaced before putting down the moisture barrier. In the situation of a metal roof, the metal panels are then molded and cut to size onsite. It was quite amazing to watch the process. Once all of the metal panels have been cut, the crew organizes the panels to ensure the installation is done efficiently. Whilst the engineer / project manager of the team knew how the metal panels were to be installed based on the shape and pitch of our roof, like any project, there's always contingencies and unknowns. This team, amazingly had to do a minor course correct, and they did it without a hitch and still got the installation done on time! THE TEAM - You'll be working with the owner and his right hand guy, and throughout the project, they are the team members that stay connected with you throughout the project. The crew that comes out to do the work are very professional, friendly, and equally as knowledgeable. At the end of each day during the job, they make sure the utilized workspaces within the perimeter of your home are always cleaned up. SUMMARY! - The result of the work, as you can see from the photo is a beautiful roof, installed with care and quality. - A great team of subject matter experts who know what they are doing, and are looking out for you. - A team who is willing to work intimately with other teams (e.g. solar company, the team who is installing the gutters, etc.) to ensure the other team do nothing to compromise the installation of the roof. The next phase of our home improvement project is the exterior of the house, and this team does exterior work too, so we will indeed be working with Valley Roofing!
