I told her I'll be back before the end of the week cause I was moving. I took a picture of the bed and sent to it my daughter and she was excited and said yes she'd love to have that bed. Today is Wednesday... I took my daughter to the store to purchase her bed and Shalom confirmed the quoted price and went into the office to "double check". She then comes out of the office and tells me the bed cost over $200 more than the previous quoted price and said she must've read it wrong... Naaaaawwww... She didn't read it wrong. SHE ACTUALLY SHOWED IT TO ME!!! Most people in Houston got their taxes so they spiked the prices. I've bought a few items from this store but after today's experience I'll never go again and I'll make sure all of my friends know not to shop there.

5/5 -- Ace Off Memorial is the gold standard…read more Let me just say this: Ace Off Memorial in Houston doesn't miss. This store is the definition of excellence from the front door to the back office. The entire staff is phenomenal -- every single employee is attentive, patient, and genuinely committed to helping customers. You can feel the difference immediately. They greet you, they guide you, and they actually listen instead of pointing at an aisle and disappearing. It's rare to find a team that operates with this much professionalism and warmth at the same time. And then there's Mrs. Haize -- the true heartbeat of the store. Customer service: Impeccable. They go above and beyond without hesitation. You never feel rushed, ignored, or brushed off. Instead, you feel valued -- like your time and questions matter. Inventory: Always full, always updated, always organized. No empty shelves, no outdated products, no chaos. They keep everything fresh and well-stocked, which makes shopping here smooth and stress-free. Cleanliness: Spotless. This store stays clean in a way that tells you the team takes real pride in their environment. Floors, aisles, displays -- everything looks maintained and cared for. Honestly, Ace Off Memorial deserves every bit of praise. It's easily one of the most well-managed, well-staffed, and welcoming stores in Houston. If every business operated the way this one does -- especially like Mrs. Haize -- customer service in this city would be on a whole different level. Highly recommend, every time.

Compared to Ross Store about 3 miles away, this is the worst sibling. Second of all, the merchandise at this discount store is equivalent to Dollar General Store couple of doors down. The quality of goods is questionable. I believe they created an illusion to attract local residents. But if you look closely, there have defects. I bought a pair of sweat pants few years ago. After first wash, it became a kid's size. It went with my donation pile for Goodwill. Another incident, a planter splitting at the rim after I put soil in there. So buyer beware. Check your purchase before paying. If you expect to use restroom here, don't bother. You won't find any public restrooms in this part of neighborhood. It's better off using the ones at Arthur Storey Park.
