Oh my goodness, this theatre is amazing! The service is fast and friendly, the theatres are so clean! I'm so impressed at the reclining theatre seats as well! They are super roomy, luxurious and have a power reclining seats with extended foot rests. The seats are arranged in love seat style, so you can even remove the middle arm rest and cuddle with your partner if you prefer. Prop Tips: The Tuesday Special is $8.99, a great value for what you get at this theatre They also have a great SPC deal which includes : General Admission, Medium Popcorn, and Medium Fountain Beverage for $16.99 + tax, EVERY DAY They don't have their own app yet, but you can buy tickets through the Atom Tickets App, which lets you buy tickets, pre-order concessions, and invite people to go together, but also pay separately.

Come get ur popcorn that u dont know how long its been sitting there
Miss Lady ..

I stopped coming here because of their weird concession stand gauntlet that has pre-popped popcorn in a fridge (but warm)...what if i want it layered with butter half way down???!!! Their popcorn tastes weird too. Go to cineplex where u get ur popcorn fresh out the popper and they can layer it for you. Popcorn is half the movie going experience

This theatre has been around for a long time, and it's really starting to show. There's an odd smell about the place, as though one or more of the younger patrons didn't quite make it to the bathroom on time. Seating has never been replaced, or even updated, and you'll sometimes end up on or beside a damaged seat. They're certainly not as comfortable as newer offerings such as UltraAVX. Which would all be okay, if the price reflected that. However, for an IMAX 3D movie you can end up paying almost $20 a ticket. Plus a drink and popcorn and you're over $30. Here's hoping Landmark eventually decides to invest in this property and bring it in to the 21st century.

I know movie snacks are super expensive but come on...$5.00 for a Diet Coke. Crazy. Otherwise the upgrades in the theatre are nice.

Just like many other big chain movie theaters. Upgraded their fountain machines.

This particular Cineplex is…read morelocated at Highway 2 and Salem on the east side of Salem, north of Highway 2 in the Home Depot/Canadian Tire plaza. This has never been one of my favourite theaters, probably because its poorly laid out and that can cause some issues. When we came in, there was a HUGE lineup of people waiting and since I was using a gift certificate, we had to wait too instead of going to the faster self service kiosks. A note, as with any cineplex, any 3D movie requires an additional fee if you're using a gift certificate. And no, you don't get scene points on that :( My main issue with this theater is the concessions area. Not only is it wide open but there's no discernible lines. It's hard to tell which cashier is open and available and people are constantly butting in line, making the wait for popcorn rather annoying. On a very busy night, this place is insane so beware. All of the theaters here are fairly small as far as theaters go. Not super sloped so if you get stuck behind a tall person, you might be SOL. The seats are usual theater seats and they don't have the cool mobile games at this location. Overall, this theater is just your basic movie theatre, nothing mcuh worth nothing but it does the job.

Instead of listening to our concerns or trying to resolve the issue, we felt dismissed and disrespected. The poor treatment didn't stop there--another staff member was also rude, making the entire visit frustrating from start to finish. Based on our experience, I believe the park should seriously review how its management treats customers. I don't think Madeline demonstrated the level of professionalism expected of a General Manager, and I believe the company should consider whether she is the right person for that role. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone expecting fair treatment and good customer service.

The arcade space here is massive featuring many games as well as an elevated rope course and several air hockey tables. We took advantage of the $20 eat up game on deal for kids to have a meal and 1 hr all-you-can-play which can be activated after the meal is eaten to maximize the fun including claw machines. Card fee is extra but can be recharged via a prior game card. There is a large dining space in addition to the party runs ideal for group gatherings. The kids meals were huge, including large pizza slices or burgers that came with fries and a pop drink. Suffice to say our group had a great time at Playdium Whitby for several hours. We miss the old batting diamond at the OG location but this reinvention with Cineplex targets younger kids. Skip it or hit it? Playdium is once again a great place to play and we're glad they're popping up all over the GTA including at this Whitby location.

It seems bigger than the one in Mississauga we went to last year. There were also some really creative displays! Given it was so early in the season, we were able to go thru once, do the walk thru and then if there wasn't a lineup, we could drive thru a second time. It was much more immersive and there were some extra touches for the kids that my son loved. Highly recommend: grabbing a hot chocolate at a nearby Tim Horton's, grabbing some snacks, and enjoying some festive fun. Entry price is per car. They pace entry times so it's not overly crowded. Staff are very helpful and visible (although, like last year, they all hide in nearby cars when there's a break in traffic). It has become a fun Christmas tradition.
