Good pricing and a nicely structured curriculum. I really recommend this place for growing artists. But, that doesn't mean the novice should shy away. All this art work displayed in the staircase, hallways, bathroom, workshop.. everywhere!! It shows the quality of art that is produced from this place. All the art displayed was impressive!! It actually is a cozy place. The workshop area is neat and tidy. I chatted with the owner - Fei , and she let me know that she has classes for every level and all ages. There are one day classes available on P.A days, and there are weekly classes, but anyone who is thinking of starting in one of the available programs can try a one day session to see what its all about. My daughter had a really fun time at this birthday party. She painted a butterfly and took it home. 4.5 stars for overall first experience. I'm sure, the next one will bump it up to a 5 !!

This place is set in a beautifully treed and landscaped grounds and offers a lovely environment for the campers to enjoy their time both inside and outside. The gallery portion has an ongoing exhibits year round and they have artist workshops and studios where they offer classes throughout the year. We are very happy to have found this place and will return for a stroll and to explore their other programs.

There are some at the 169 Enterprise building (where you'll find the Cineplex movie theatre and restaurants like Me Ne Va) the adjoining 179 Enterprise building (wall murals and outdoor sculptures), the underground parking structure which houses photographer Hank O'Neal's work and the Pride of Canada Carousel which is catty corner to both buildings at 8080 Birchmount Rd. The cool thing is that the works of art are available for viewing 24/7 because the 169 building and parking garage houses a Goodlife Fitness which is open 24/7. This also means there are security guards stationed inside to keep an eye on the patrons' safety. Be careful in the parking garage and watch out for cars when looking at the artwork. Make sure to visit the cool touch screen directory in the parking garage near the entrance to the building where the stairs and escalator are. You can find information on the artists and their work here. Also look for the informational signs near each piece. A 3 star experience that can easily be bumped up to 4 stars if you include a meal at one if the restaurants; include a movie and you have yourself a 5 star experience.

They've been around for over 30 years and continuously growing. The 401 Richmond building itself is filled to the brim with art and other curiosities. My artist friend, David, currently has a solo show on and I stopped in to support him and his art. It's such a welcoming escape from the hectic and busy street outside. Definitely take your time to look at the art in this gallery. There's so much to see and take in. They have rotating shows from their featured artists, as well as exciting group shows. We need more collectives like this!

She kept them and the timing of the party on track. The girls had a wonderful time and all left with smiles! The cost of the party included all paint, use of brushes as well as packaging for transport home. I was so pleased with this experience that I purchased a custom, in-house made snowman ( he lights up!). Pricing was very reasonable and included use of the studio, paint and brushes as well as the firing to complete the piece. My friend and I went in together to complete our projects. Tanya was very helpful. She answered all of our questions about what to tackle first and gave us her opinion when asked about colours etc. The experience was relaxing and we can't wait to come in to do our next project. I recently became a Clay-fan (no relation to Clay Aiken fans, Claymates) when I received a…read morebeautiful handmade clay dish at a wedding. It even had the initials of the bride and groom etched into it. Probably the best wedding token I've gotten. Ever since I got this, I've been looking at taking some kind of pottery class to learn how to make clay dishes and such. When I stumbled on Clay Design, I knew I had to check it out. The store has the most unique and beautiful clayware. They sell a lot of plates, bowls and dishes there. A small icecream bowl costs about $50, just to give you an idea on the price. A bigger serving plate will put you out $300. Needless to say, to buy a piece that someone else has made is probably more expensive than just taking lessons yourself. And luckily they do offer lessons here. When we went yesterday they were holding a class. If this place wasn't so far off the subway, I'd definitely take a class!
