I am beyond frustrated with my experience at this Land Rover dealership. Over the past year, my car has been in their service department five to six times for the exact same issue. Each visit, they kept my vehicle for weeks--sometimes over two months--claiming they were attempting to locate the problem. Every time they returned the car to me, the issue resurfaced within a month, and I was right back in their service bay. For nearly every visit, my warranty covered the repairs. I personally paid thousands of dollars once, but the dealership also put through thousands in warranty-covered repairs throughout the year. Now, after all of that, I'm being told I suddenly need a new engine. What's most upsetting is that it's clear the engine was the root cause of the problem from the beginning. Instead of properly diagnosing it, they applied temporary "fixes" that never addressed the real issue. After dragging this out for over a year, my warranty is now nearly exhausted, and I'm being told I must pay almost $20,000 out-of-pocket for an engine that should have been identified as the issue on the very first visit. It feels as though the ongoing misdiagnoses conveniently benefited the dealership--letting my warranty run down while the core problem kept getting ignored. I trusted them to do honest, competent work, but instead I'm left with a massive repair bill for an issue that was present all along. We have a 2025 Range Rover that-- of all things--had malfunctioning wipers. The wipers would not clear the driver side windshield-- AT ALL-- which is obviously a core function of any vehicle for driving safety. We had already replaced the wiper blades twice at another location, and had come to Willow Grove out of convenience. The entire wiper arm assembly was replaced (which took three business days), and were told this should resolve the issue that we had been dealing with now for over six months. When we drove the car the next morning, windshield wiper fluid was literally SPRAYING out from the sides of the hood and doors. After a 3 mile drive, we had windshield wiper fluid INSIDE of our door jams, ALL over the hood of the car, and on BOTH the driver and passenger side front and rear doors. It was literally like the windshield wiper fluid had exploded or we had been through a car wash. Clearly something was not right-- in addition to the windshield wipers themselves being worse than when we dropped them off. Streaky. Not clearing. Impossible to see from. We called the dealership immediately and were told to bring it right in. We did, and they did a quick scan and said everything is FINE. In speaking with Steve in service-- I politely asked him to re-look, as there was clearly multiple things wrong. The windshield wipers were worse, and the fluid was everywhere. He basically flat-out refused. In the course of a 5 to 10 minute conversation, he said he refused to look at the vehicle again, there was nothing wrong, and there was nothing more they could do. He told me the service manager, Dan, would have to give me a call to discuss further steps. I said I welcomed that. I called back twice over the next four days attempting to reach Dan and he did not return my call. He finally called back five days later, and I missed the call. I called him back 24 hours later and I have STILL (over a week later) have not received a phone call back. To say the service is subpar would be a gross understatement. The kicker is we took our vehicle to Princeton, and they fixed it in less than an hour. I will NEVER take my car to Willow Grove again, and I honestly cannot understand how any of the employees in this location could treat customers in this way. Core functions of a vehicle are necessary, and there was clearly something wrong that was easily resolvable with a little care and attention. We didn't deserve to be treated like this. 2016 XJL PORTFOLIO. Car was having electrical issues. After they looked at it the problem was the positive cable that runs from the battery in the trunk to the jumping posts under the hood. From corrosion. The part itself was $1180.00. The labor they wanted to charge me was $2100.00.. $3200.80 total . They said they had to lower the remove and reinstall the lower rear differential. I got the car towed home. Took a wire brush and cleaning fluids with some sandpaper reconnected the connection wrapped it back up and for $0 my car was fixed! How in the heck can they sleep at night charging something like that that the mechanic could have done. Knowing it would have worked. These people are absolute ripoffs. And I understand it's an important. But it cost me no money to fix a problem that they were going to charge me $3,800 for in total with tax. I'm calling the better Business bureau read more

Parts wouldn't honor a parts warranty on a key claiming that keys are not a warranty item. A different dealer told me parts have a 1 year warranty and that they would take care of it. The gentleman at the counter told me I pryed my key open and broke it , claiming I was trying to change the battery. This key is 4 months old and you cannot change the battery. I did pry on the key cover after it broke so that I could put the key part back in to be able to start my car. They began diagnosing my car the same day and shared multiple updates and options over the next 2 days. Ultimately resolving my issue, washing my car, and putting me back in action with zero stress. My pregnant wife and I were driving up 95 in Maryland on our way home to Philadelphia, when my 2016 Disco Sport lurched violently and stalled. After getting it over to the shoulder, it wouldn't restart - shaking violently and stalling as soon as I pressed the ignition. Using LR roadside assistance, we were towed to a nearby LR dealer, where they arranged for a loaner Evoque. Bob Snider at LR Willow Grove coordinated with the MD dealer, and we were back on the road within 2.5 hours of the breakdown. Turned out a hose clamp on the turbo was bad and the hose came loose. The MD dealer fixed it, shipped it to LRWG, and I was kept in the loop the whole time. Bob arranged a valet swap at my office this morning - less than 36 hours after being stranded on the side of the road 120 miles from home, I have my Disco back, good as new (and washed to boot). They were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. read more

This dealership has the worst follow through and customer service I have ever experienced. It has missed two home pick up service appointments. And, seven months since my purchase of a Range Rover from this dealership, it has failed to apply a paint protection service that I purchased at time of sale. This service at this dealership is appalling and bordering criminal. Almost 9 months ago, my Evoque started hesitating and getting poorer gas mileage while still under certification and warranty. This went on for 3 total service visits including visits where the service team were derogatory, disrespectful and insulting to my wife. On the 4th visit (still encountering the same issue)--lo and behold--they found a crack in the exhaust manifold. Of course...you know it--the vehicle was now out of warranty and "oh gee...it's a $3,000 repair." Dealership and Land Rover are outrageous rip-offs. They're "Certified" program isn't worth the paper it's printed on...stay away. read more

I had an AMAZING experience today at Land Rover Willow Grove! I brought Marty and his 2 coworkers in parts A BROKEN KEY BLADE, and they managed to copy me a key THAT WORKED. Otherwise I would have been out of luck because they didn't have the ability to cut the key with my VIN number! It was super fast service, super friendly and they even stayed past their 5 o'clock quitting time and waited for me to get there and still treated me with a smile and couldn't have been nicer! They are perfectly polite, but they massively over charge for oil changes and other basic services. Their hourly labor charge is exorbitant, especially considering they're also very slow. I write this review as a disappointed customer who thought I would have a great experience at Land Rover Willow Grove. I purchased a 2022 Range Rover Evoque at the end of May only to have to deal with a defected transmission the first Week of August. I was informed that the issue on the car was just a system update that needed to be completed, and I should have my car back in a couple hours. When I asked for a loaner to get to work I was told none was available yet the rep next to mine was offering someone a loaner in that exact moment. Maybe I didn't fit the description to qualify for a loaner. That day no one called with an update on the car. I called right before they closed to get an update and was told that the system update didn't work and they would call tomorrow. No one called the following day until I called at the end of day again. Still no update. Friday I was informed it was a sensor and I can expect to receive my car back that follow Monday. No call on Monday. Tuesday I called and was told the transmission was defected and don't worry the warranty will cover it so everything is ok. I'm thinking to myself how it is possible for brand new car to have a blown transmission within 90 days of purchase. No one can explain what happened and why I was in this situation. I reached out in email to Scott the general manger via email. He called and stated that he had no idea what was going on that he would call me back the next day. Of course I didn't hear back from him until I wrote another email. All I can say is this is the absolutely worse dealership I have ever had to deal with. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP IF YOU'RE AFRICAN AMERICAN. I was seen as nothing more than a young black woman and was completed disregarded and treated like I should be lucky anyone is even speaking with me. To this day I still do not have my car back. I was told my transmission will be in the U.S the first week of October. I went through three loaners. The second one the audio system didn't work and would make loud noises as I'm driving. I received charges on my credit card from the dealership and still have no idea what they are for. All I asked for was to be treated fairly. For the dealership to accept that they sold me a defected vehicle and repurchase it or exchange the vehicle, but instead I have been waiting months to receive a car that could have been repurchased or exchanged. I guess this dealership has a preferred customer and I just don't fit the description. read more

We recently bought a used RRS from Land Rover Willow Grove and can honestly say it was by far the best car buying experience I have had to date. We happened to be in the area and stopped in one afternoon to quickly look at a used RRS on the lot which happened to be sold a few hours prior. Never driving one before and not sure if Land Rovers were what we really wanted, Mike Smyth (sales rep) asked if we'd like to take a few for test drives to get an idea of which might be the best fit for us (base or supercharged). He did not have any more used models in stock so he kept in communication with us and a few weeks later when he had one traded in from a long time customer of his. He handled everything which needed replaced or repaired with the truck, certified it and made a deal work well on both sides. We came in to pick it up and did not have much time, everything was already set up and easy to get wrapped up quickly. Seamless process - open communication and straight forward. Simple. We ended up with a great RRS and imagine I will buy another car from Mike/LRWG in the future. read more

My 2016 Range Rover TD6 began to stall on turns. Limped into LRWG not my dealer on a Tuesday AM at 7:30AM , Bob Snider got it into the shop right away, it took a couple of iterations to find the problem, but they gave me loaner both times, listened to my issues and worked with Land Rover to help find the problem, a funky fuel sender issue. Love the vehicle and the dealership. Bob was attentive and gave me his best tech to help resolve. These are truly complex vehicles, but can do it all and get almost 30MPG. I am very disappointing with the service department at the LR of Willow Grove, not only they kept my RR for over 6 months in their lot rotting away, but there was 0 follow up from any of the people involved. From Steve Heath Jr. service rep., to Bill McFadden service manager. not only they returned my car looking like a junk car 6 months after it came in, but it was never fixed. To add insult to injury they refused to pay for the rental THEY offered me simply because the Land Rover Dealer couldn't find a part for my RR... I am sorry last time I check... isn't to a LR dealer where a RR owner would take his car to be fixed? As a customer I found myself being the one following up with them, only to be told time and time again that they were working on my car, ultimately resulting in severe loss of time and money. I have never in my life dealt with such a poor service, and to top it off the lack of leadership at this business makes it impossible to hold anyone accountable. the fault is passed from one side to another like a pin-pong ball and at the end as a consumer I am stuck paying $2,500+ in car rentals fees that Land Rover of Willow Grove incurred. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism, commitment, and overall business integrity... now the car is gone and he best of all is that will never have to deal with this business in my life again. read more

I don't typically write bad reviews but this dealership needs to experience some consequence from it's unprofessional treatment of my wife and I. I saw on line a certified pre-owned Range Rover for sale at Land Rover Willow Grove and - since the dealership was a 45 min drive for us - called to confirm that it was still available and to make an appointment to go and see it. When we arrived we were very disappointed to see that the rims and tires shown on the vehicle in the numerous pic's on the dealerships website were actually not on the vehicle. When we asked about this we were told in a flippant tone that wheels get swapped out on used vehicles all the time. When we said that seems kind of like false advertisement we were told - again in a very flippant tone - "well I guess you could sue us if that's what you want". Wow. Was not even going there. The Sales Mgr called to apologize (and to ask I not post anything negative) but did not offer any solution. I hope people remember that when someone takes the time to actually write and post a negative review it represents numerous others that had similar experiences but simply didn't have the time or inclination to post a review. I feel I owe it to the next customer in hopes their experience is much better than mine. read more
