a LOT of recruiters are in, coming from, or work through India. Same here. the 703 area code...probably a google voice number. They are generating TONS of these from this area, NJ, all kinds. I get it, tons of cheap labor in India. AND whomever submits you FIRST gets the commission. YES they rates can sometimes be higher than what you're normally hearing. And yes, in order to build a profile for you, they use day and month (not year) of your birth. And last 4 of SSN sometimes to build a profile. they are not trying to steal your data, but understandable why they ask for it. a lot of defense contractors do this. having said that, SOME Of these indian recruiters particularly lancesoft will not take no for an answer. I do a lot of aerospace work, mechanical engineering work. but have been put in by 'swati' a lot for P&G. fine. but if a job description says BS in Chemistry needed (not just wanted), then STOP. FRIGGIN. CALLING. ME. AT. MY. CURRENT. DAY. JOB and stop the canned email responses. One more cut/paste message from her, and i'll ask your entire company to go no contact. in fact I'll cut off ALL India recruiters at that point. it is NON-STOP and none of them, NONE of them have ever placed me. it's simply not worth the constant contact especially when a new job hits. 5-20 calls PER DAY. read more

I have traveled for the past 6 years and have never seen a travel company so unorganized, unprofessional and distasteful. Recruiters leave their position, giving you no one to reach out to for questions. Onboarding team is extremely rude, the whole onboarding process was painful and hard to get through. Timecards are hard to get approved, they will say "you were suppose to work this amount of hours" and reject it if it's over. (Like how are you going to reject my hours when I have proof from the hospital?) The only reason I haven't cancelled my contract is because it is for my hometown hospital and I do not want to ruin my professional relationships with them. The only thing they can share with me is the job description, like most of the job scams! Even though the job description is about a Digital marketing role for a Financial company, the job Title is "Outdoor Marketing Manager". The job description does not match the Job Title either. So I asked the Recurter why the job title was different from the job description, and the recuriter didn't know anything about it too. I was skeptical at first about whether this company was a scam due to negative reviews. I also read several positive reviews and decided to continue working with them on a job I applied for. I applied on Indeed and they started calling me an hour later. Two people contacted me asking the same questions which also made me hesitant. I still worked with them and realized there were several people working from the same database who would call and text until they had all the information and documentation they needed to fill the job. I was hired and started the job just the way they promised. I received the promised pay and I am so glad I stuck it out even when they seemed to call me constantly. Once they had all the information the constant calls stopped. However they do still keep in contact making sure everything is ok. The rate quoted was extremely lowball for an engineer with 38 years experience as well as being a licensed professional engineer. Add to that being repeatedly cut off in mid sentence. There are shops like this that play a little game. They can not find any local talent at the lowball rate. They use this as an excuse to push their barely qualified H-1B's. I have never made a review on Yelp, but I felt inclined to here. I am not sure why everyone hates this company so much! I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I was in the job market after graduating with a Biology/Chemistry B.S. degree, and looking for a year long contracted position in Biotech. Only a couple days after placing my resume on Indeed, I was contacted by Afreen T from lancesoft about an opening in the San Diego. Like many of the other reviews have said, it was someone with a heavy Indian accent. I will admit that it all seemed fishy at first, but I needed a job and decided to proceed. They helped my create a resume, get an interview, and even land the job. To top it all off, this was two weeks after graduating! They landed me a job, working in my field, in San Diego, making $20/hr starting. I am working for a great multi-national company with branches all over the world, plenty of growth opportunities, and great benefits. Yeah it is kind of annoying to recieve phone calls from Lancesoft and have to ask the caller to repeat themselves constantly (because of the heavy accent), but they have never seemed threatening. I am always paid in full and on time, and there has never been any conflict for me. Beyond that, I am contacted once a month by a very kind Human Resources department to check up on how my assignment is going. While I do not doubt the experiences of other yelpers at all, I am just saying that mine has been great. So in summary, they are a real company, they are run by mostly individuals with heavy indian accents, and they definitely can get you the job you are hoping for! There have been discrepancies twice on the contract that I signed vs the contract that Aya supposedly submitted to the hospital but the issue was resolved. They are definitely not a phishing scam. If I can give this company ZERO stars, I would! Initially I thought they might've been a legitimate recruiting agency but the only reason why I initially decided not to sign up with them is because all of the potential work they told me about were in different states, in which wouldn't be possible for me to go to at this time. They understood and I thought it was going to be the last I would hear from them. But I was completely wrong!!! Every single day after that first interaction has been a nightmare! I would get at least three different recruiters from this same company either calling me, emailing me or even texting me! I told three recruiters to not call me again because I'm no longer interested and also told them to please place me on the Do not contact list but clearly this wasn't getting through to them because they still contact me!!!!! I got very frustrated recently on the phone with one of the lancesoft recruiters and told her I'm not interested and hung up on her face (partly cause I'm frustrated and also because I had a REAL hospital recruiter calling me on the other line for a phone interview that I didn't want to miss!!). While I was being interviewed on the phone with the real hospital recruiter, the lancesoft worker called me back three times and even texted me, almost messing up my concentration during my phone interview! Even as I write this review, one of their recruiters have sent me an email despite me already saying I am not interested!! This company is the worst company I have ever worked for. I have worked as a travel nurse for over 2 years with several different companies and this one is by far the worst. Very impersonal. Could barely understand the staff with a very heave accent and they talk sooooo fast. Follow thru with on boarding was awful. Had to always send an email with my question and plea to get a return call to answer the question. Maybe 3 days later would get the return call after I had voiced my concerns with the recruiter. The recruiter NEVER checked back to see how things were going or if there were any concerns. We are just a money maker for this company they do not know how to treat the contractors. I was bugged every week to turn in my timeslip kind of funny since there was not work for over a month. Up until 6/14 I had been emailed to turn a time slip in . Funny that on 6/15 I received this email ....."notification regarding your separation of employment with LanceSoft, Inc. Your employment has been terminated at Close of Business on May 17, 2021, and we would appreciate your feedback regarding your much-valued time with our company." REALLY!!! My contract was until 7/31/21. One month later after the so called termination Lancesoft is contacting me to let me know I was done. No explanation etc. MUCH valued REALLY. Do not under any circumstances engage with this company. They provide an obscure job description for openings and Companies they don't correctly identify. They will tell you the "hiring manager" is very impressed with your resume and must have an interview ASAP. The interview does not get scheduled but coincidentally, you get contacted by another recruiter from a cloned telephone number and asks you to meet at a coffee shop at 5:00 PM at an address nearby without so much as telling you what the position is or why you were selected. Of course I did not go. I sensed it was a scam to get personal information from me whether it be the license plate of my car, social security, or perhaps scanning my wallet with credit card enabled software. When I put all the pieces together, this was not one company I was dealing with, but my information was being shared among 3 Indian based companies with separate locations and area codes. I have nothing against Indian people as I've known them to be very smart and good to work with throughout my career.
