Before I begin my review of your food, I would like to preface this with the fact that I have extensive experience in the field of Vietnamese cuisine. I purchased the steak pho for the price of $13 (tax and gratuity not included). For a simple food court pho, the meal was roughly average in terms of quality, even though it was somewhat overpriced. However, if we are to judge this pho against a somewhat authentic version, this dish was subpar in nearly every way. The color and aroma of the broth appeared to be satisfactory, though the lack of depth of flavor was quite disappointing. The stock retained a murky beef flavor, and I was unable to detect any clear notes of the bone stock, if it was even used. Though this may be difficult to implement when taking economic feasibility into account, let the broth cook for longer to allow the flavor to develop better. It would also be beneficial to skim the broth of excess fat that dulls the clarity of said broth. The noodles were especially disappointing to my palate. I could taste residual starch that results from improperly rinsed noodles. Though this should be obvious, the noodles should be rinsed twice in a cold water bath, and properly shaken out each time. I believe you may find further instruction on the multimedia platform YouTube if this is too difficult to understand. As a result of these improperly prepared noodles, the noodles tasted thick and bland, further dulling a flavorless broth. The provided meat was around average in terms of flavor and texture. It is also supposed to be placed into the broth in a rare state; this is one of the unique characteristics of meat in a bowl of pho. The meat was a tad chewy (I assume from pre-cooking the meat to avoid salmonella contamination) and shriveled, but it was overall not horrible due to the thinness. My one recommendation is that the meat should be slightly larger and flatter, the thinness and flavor were appropriate as it currently stands. The provided vegetables were satisfactory in terms of freshness and variety. I saw the appropriate herbs were provided in the proper manner. However, the bean sprouts seemed oddly fresh. In many other establishments, the bean sprouts are shriveled and inedible. This was surprisingly not the case when I received my meal. Props to you. This brings me to the conclusion of my review. The quality of the food is not horrible when considering this establishment provides a food court-esque experience. Though it may be overpriced, this is acceptable when considering the fact that rent in Bridge Park is quite high. Is the pho authentic? Most definitely not. Will I come back for more food (and potentially another scathing review)? Most likely, as this is one of a few places I have access to (being a car-less high school student). Though the food may have disappointed me in nearly every way, I suppose it would be acceptable to the common plebeian. read more

I absolutely love @lanvietmarket_! They have a large variety to choose from whether it is pho, rice dishes or noodles dishes. My go to is their bean sprout salad with their oh so goood hot sauce and then I get a side of egg and tofu. I love that they make pan fried tofu with salt and pepper... And sometimes I'll just come to order that!! Also the noodles are a must!! Only thing is I wish they had vegetarian or vegan broth to use for their tofu pho but unfortunately they do not so I have not been able to try it out. Hopefully they change that in the future! read more

Lan Viet - Vietnamese Near Me - Dublin, Ohio

Quality Vietnamese food at a reasonable price, the garlic noodles are what make this place in my opinion! You can get Pho anywhere and while their Pho is good it's not anything that makes me want to keep coming back, but the garlic noodles do every time?! read more

I just stopped by Lan Viet for a steak bahn mi this afternoon, and as always, it was top notch. I have had several of the other menu items and have never been unsatisfied. Authentic and yummy! read more

Nice clean restaurant and eating area, easy to order. We tried the Mama Lan's Pho Dac Biet, it was excellent. Will be back! read more

I never really liked pho that much but this place is so good I had to leave a review! I was there 30 min ago and ordered a beef Pho + Chicken Wings Appetizer. They totally messed up the order but I wasn't the upset about because- 1) I ordered beef they gave my chicken, but it was crazy good still! 2) I ordered a portion of chicken wing and got 2 so hell yea!! Overall really good food and pho was better than buckeye Pho on bethel!! Definitely should check it out!! read more

I've never had banh mi before so I decided to try it out here! It was really good, the jalapeños were spicy (Good for me, if you don't like jalapeños with seeds , probably not for you.) The North Market is such a cool place to grab lunch. read more

Lan Viet - Traditional Banh Mi - Vietnamese Near Me - Dublin, Ohio

Poor service, food is just ok. I wouldn't go back. Not sure why they ask for a tip.

I'm kind of picky with Vietnamese food because I usually can make it myself from my mom's recipe or whatever but sometimes I am feeling a little lazy. I was craving Viet food and decided to try Lan Viet because it was really close. I came in with really low expectations because I've been disappointed a few times by many a Vietnamese restaurant, but fortunately that was not the case here. We got the pork banh mi, bean sprout salad and pork noodle bowl. I was not sure what to expect for the bean sprout salad but it was really good on its own and I found that it was great to mix in with the pork noodle bowl. The pork was seasoned really nicely and they gave us a decent amount. The one thing I noticed they were missing was pickled carrots and daikon with their banh mi, but because it's Hanoi style, it could be different than what I'm used to. The fish sauce they gave us was great! I really enjoyed how spicy it was as well as how it was the perfect balance of fishy and sweet. They did a really good job on flavors and I will be coming back the next time I'm craving Viet food. read more

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Good portions and great location within the food hall.

The tofu banh mi is awesome! The tofu is well seasoned and fried to perfection. Just make sure to ask for it without pate if you're vegetarian. read more

The pho was ok as far as pho places go... good but not special... the service was not friendly almost seemed annoyed we were there at 11 they open at 10:30 am... and the portion for the price is not good. I know it's bridge park but this is not downtown Columbus.... cafeteria style setting, with other types of food and drinks around in the north market bridge park building. read more

Amazing flavors and presentation, wings crispy and well balanced. The pork seasoned beautifully for the rice noodle bowls.

I tried the chicken bahn mi, it was delicious. I got my food relatively fast for how busy the whole area was. The only thing I would want different would be maybe some more veggies and possibly a dip or something on the side, otherwise 10/10 I would get again! read more

Owner was very reasonable and took his time to communicate with me. This restaurant definitely prioritizes their customer satisfaction.

Most friendly service I think I have ever received! The individual who took our order was so nice, and even gave us suggestions on what to order. I didn't catch his name, but he had black hair with blonde highlights. Food was also great. However, you can find good food many places, but the great customer service is what makes this place stand out. I would 110% recommend! read more

Such an amazing experience! Super clean, socially distant dining. I had the mama lan's pho and my wife had the pork rice and noodle bowl. First off, huge portions, especially for the price. Secondly, delicious. My pho warmed my soul, a rich and soothing delicious soup. My wife hardly said a word between bites lol. Owner was very nice and it seemed a lot of other people were getting carry out. read more

Review left by Frebre Z was spot on, food is very average and the employees look bored and not concerned with quality. Used to love the Pho here but must have changed owners, will find another place. read more

Pho is soooo good! Broth is flavorful and I highly recommend . Love the spring rolls too

The broth had a great flavor and the noodles were nice and tender. We also had the salt and pepper shrimp and it was tasty.

Best pho in Columbus! This location is absolutely beautiful with wooden counters and live plants. You can tell all the employees care about what they are doing and the food they are putting out. The salt and pepper wings and garlic noodles are my favorite. I would definitely recommend this spot to everyone looking for some healthy options but also comforting options. read more

Nothing beats delicious pho in the winter! I had the chicken pho which was a good serving size with tasty broth. My husband and I split some garlic noodles which were great and he had the pork banh mi. The pork was really delicious. Also, North Market in Dublin has tables spaced well and everyone I saw was wearing masks appropriately. Definitely check out Lan Viet! read more

Really good Banh Mi. First time trying it; got the pork one and it was super good. Liked the chicken pho as well. A newbie to Vietnamese food here but definitely enjoyed it! read more

Took our first trip to the Dublin North Market today! I love the vibe of the new market and I'm super excited for the rest of the vendors to come in. We picked up a steak pho from Lan Viet. The pho had a generous portion size and tasted very authentic. This is my new favorite pho place in dublin. My whole family agreed the pho was super delicious and my dad already asked to get it again! read more

Loved the one downtown and this one is great too! Great pho! Also recommend the summer rolls. Chili oil is nice if you like heat.

Great Bahn I'm and pho. Some of the best pho in Columbus and anywhere I've tried. The summer roll is also very good.

Food is great. Always fresh and hot. Customer service severely lacking. No greeting, no friendliness let alone a smile, heaven forbid. Once food was ready I simply Asked for typical condiments that come with Vietnamese food (chop sticks, siracha, and hoisin) and got attitude and eye roll....twice. With so many other options in town and in the north market in general, will likely not return. read more

Mediocre at best and expensive for what it is. Broth is full of MSG. Veggies were old. I would not choose this again because there are many other options in the same space that offer much better food. The noodle place around the corner is much better! read more

Unbelievable! The best pho I've ever had. The beef was so tender and flavorful! Thanks for being at Bridge Park.

Great experience today at Lan Viet. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. I'll be coming here far more often now that I know they are legit good! read more

It was my parents' (and my kids') first time trying Vietnamese food and they loved it! The food was so fresh, fragrant, and flavorful. The portion for the rice noodles bowl was very generous. The pho broth was delicious! And the tofu Bahn me didn't have us missing meat. The staff were prompt staff were prompt and courteous, despite the rush. Highly recommended--support local business! read more

I was disappointed by their portion size of the salt and pepper wings, three I should have asked, but I thought for 8 bucks it would have been at least 4. And maybe because they are new and have not perfected the taste at this location, but it was not salt and pepper wings, it was plain fried chicken wings. I may give it one more chance and try the pho. Oh well. read more

We ordered the Chicken Pho, chicken rice and noodle bowl, plus summer rolls. We ordered through Uber and our food arrived packaged beautifully and hot! I've always been a fan of the North Market location, I'm so happy to have a location closer to home! read more

Great new place in the North Market Dublin! Great tasting egg rolls. Fresh sprouts are given with the Pho separately. The Pho is fantastic! Excellent customer service and friendly staff. read more

My husband has been going to Lan Viet ever since we live downtown at its original North Market location. We were so excited when we saw they were opening up here now that we are in Dublin. But the working staff and service is actually so off-putting we are finding ourselves NOT wanting to go there. I went up after we ordered to ask for an empty plastic cup to get water for my 2 year old, and while I was holding him the worker named Robin at the register told me to go to the bar. "No. Sorry. Go to the bar." And when my husband went back up to get more hot sauce which they have up front by the pick up, Robin stopped him and said "You only get one." We ordered 3 things and 2 sides. Only one sauce? Obnoxiously rude! The other location has a self-serve of their sauces and don't ever question you if you're a customer. This person was rude simply for the sake of it. It's not like she hand-made her sauce and packaged them herself. Robin is a paid part-time employee who was obviously projecting her unhappy life on the customers. If the original owner saw her behavior, I'm sure he would be horrified. I don't know if we'll go back. That one worker was enough to turn us away for good. Beware. read more

It's been a while since I've had Lan Viet. With everything happening, I don't get down to the downtown location. Which it made me happy that they opened up shop in Dublin at Bridge Park. The food is just as amazing! I ordered through Uber Eats (the driver did awesome). The packaging of the items are on point. I ordered the meatball pho and added steak... it was perfect for the cold day! And so much food! The broth was good as always, not salty. Great with a little hoisin and sriracha. I also ordered two summer rolls (1 per order), and those were yummy. My suggestion would be to add a little crushed up peanuts to the sauce. I also ordered a steak and original banh mi (note this order was not all for me, but I did have a bite of everything, lol). The steak was delicious and there was so much packed in the sandwich. The steak had that grilled taste I love. If you're looking to spice up your banh mi the order comes with a spicy sauce. Try if you're daring, but it is yummy as well. The original was great too. Both sandwiches were great, but I am very picky about my banh mi bread, the bread was for me a 7 out ot 10. Overall, Lan Viet Bridge Park is amazing. I still love the flavors, portions and packaging. Despite my banh mi bread pickiness this location is still a 5 star and you should give it a try! read more
