Delicious experience today! I had a traditional bahn mi. It was savory, crunchy and creamy. The perfect sandwich for a midday break before a longer run that afternoon. Bread was soft and service was quick.
Service? Excellent! Atmosphere? Great if you love an indoor world market vibe that is North Market. Food? It is legitimately one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my entire life. I have never eaten a banh mi, but I have wanted to for years. I ordered the traditional banh mi, which was on an amazing sesame seed baguette. This banh mi was amazingly soft, with a slight, thin crunchy bite (not at all too hard or dry). The sauce, cilantro, pickled veggies, meat -- everything was extremely well balanced. I haven't stopped thinking about the sandwich since I had it yesterday.
Extremely solid banh mi. They grill their meats separately and you can definitely taste the difference between Lan Viet and other banh mi shops. They are a bit pricey but 100% worth the try at least once.
Delicious shrimp pho with a couple of summer rolls was the perfect dinner tonight at the North Market. This broth is slow made to perfection. Yum!
I tried Lan Viet for the first time for lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed the food. I ordered the shrimp rice and noodle bowl. The shrimp was delicious. The bowl could've used more spice and flavor. When I asked for extra sauce, the worker wasn't very pleased when handing it to me. I'm not sure if it normally costs extra? Anyways - the wings were so good and had a great crunch. I would come back!
This place I hit up in while I was shopping around North Market. It looked very clean and caught my eye right away because I love Pho. I got the steak Pho and it was good. I like my steak raw and to cook in the broth, I don't think they had that option.
As a Viet person, Lan View wouldn't be my first choice. It is nice that it is located in two different locations. I typically get Lan Viet when I'm in the Dublin area and am craving it. It's not horrible, but it's not anything crazy. $15 for a bowl of Momma Lan's Pho Dac Biet is pretty steep. The pho flavor is there, but the noodles are too mushy and overcooked sometimes. I tried the summer rolls also and again, I get it if I'm craving it and in the area. The summer rolls seem pretty fresh with a typical peanut sauce. Nothing that "wows" me. I've never tried any of the other items on the menu so I can't comment on anything else.

I always like to order a Banh Mi and a bowl of Pho together when I eat Vietnamese food. It is very comforting~ Grilled pork banh mi: my favorite out of all three dishes. The pork slices were so tender and flavorful. I liked the pickled vegetables as well. A great blend of savory, sour, sweet and umami~ Salt & pepper shrimp: one of their special dishes. It was very well-seasoned~ Flash fried steak pho: another special dish from the menu. The steak was tasty, however I think the rice noodle wasn't my favorite, and it was missing a bit of that "deep refreshing" flavor.
Tried Lan Viet for the first time today and would definitely recommend. The staff were super friendly and nice and the food came out super quick! It is also very affordable. For less than $10 you get a delicious and filling meal. I ordered he garlic noodles with chicken. I expected them so be a little more souplike based upon some pictures I saw but they were still extremely enjoyable. The chicken was tender and flavorful with noodles and scallions that were equally tasty. It was so good that I finished my entire bowl! Which is saying something because I the leftover queen. There are plenty of other amazing looking items on the menu I would like to try but the Pho and egg rolls will have to wait until next time! Grateful they are part of Bridge Park and close to home!
Cute spot inside North Market in Dublin. The staff was nice and gave me suggestions on what to order. I chose one of the Pho's that were special for the day. My overall impression was good, not great. I couldn't help but wish there were a little more ingredients in my bowls. I guess I needed to added in some extras. The place itself is cafeteria style with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.
Lan Viet is one of my favorite vendors at Bridge Park's North Market. They are located towards the middle of the building and their stall has a lovely modern touch to it. There are several seats available at the bar area but they seem to be unavailable for patron use due to Covid. In terms of food, their garlic noodles are AMAZING. They are chock full of flavor and just delicious. I generally get a bahn mi and the garlic noodles if it is very hot out and I don't want to eat a steaming bowl of noodles. Their rice & noodle bowls are also amazing.
The food is incredible.(even though i just watched someone bring back food that had hair in it) I love the noodle bowls. I have been going to the downtown location for years and was excited that Dublin was going to have a location because it was closer to my home. However I find that the locations are not the same when it comes to customer service . I have never been charged 0.75-$1.00 for packets of Hoisin and sriracha in all the years I had been going downtown including my most recent visit last week . Though, Each time I come to this location, I am charged . I was just charged $0.75 for one packet and hoisin and one packet for Sriracha. Talk about nickel and diming your customers.

We have tried two locations and neither of them dissapoint. Everything is fresh made. They have banh mi, pho and lots of other options to choose from. I opted for the chicken banh mi without jalapenos and it was so good. Would absolutely come back again to grab one of these. read more

So excited the new North Market in Bridge Park is up and running! I was so excited to learn that Lan Viet was going to have a stall. Dublin doesn't have a shortage of pho spots, but Lan Viet is one of my favorites! Everything you love from the downtown North Market location is carried over to this brighter, brand new space and there's nothing not to love! The Pho broth is flavorful and the portion size is perfect. My dad tried the Banh Mi and really liked it. The prices are a little higher than the og location, but I'm sure rent is higher here too and it's worth it! I love the feel of the North Market locations, it's so easy for everyone to find something they like. The tables are open for use by all patrons, and there is someone who walks around and cleans them after they are used (see the placard in the pictures). Overall, we're so happy to welcome the new North Market and new Lan Viet locations to the neighborhood!! read more

Great stop on our most recent visit to the new North Market in Bridge Park Dublin. This is one of several food vendors that has recently opened, and we really enjoyed the noodle and rice bowl with chicken. I will say that you do need to jazz it up with the sweet sauce that comes with it and something spicy for flavor (ie rooster sauce). The pho bowls looked amazing, and almost everything on the menu is gluten free if that matters to you. Love this North Market in the suburbs and so looking forward to when it is fully opened with all the vendors. A welcome addition to Dublin. read more

It's been a while since I've been to Lan Viet, but I was near by so thought why not. I hope I just happened to be there on a off day. The only words I thought of while eating the phõ were "bare minimum". Was it warm? Sure. Was it in a bowl, sure. Was there beef? Sure. But it just felt like a shopping mall food court effort. The beef "slices" could only resemble little bits of beef that falls off the side from a Philly steak sandwich. The soup was bland with no more flavor than simply buying a can of broth. Noodles were over cooked, same texture as somethings that's been sitting in a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup, for a very long time. It probably didn't help seeing employees playing soccer behind the counter with an empty water bottle. But that's just ambiance. I do have fond memories of going to Lan Viet downtown years ago. This was not it. I hope it was just an off day. The summer roll was freshly made. read more
I went for the chicken wings because of hearing that they were really good. I wish I had gotten the Pho instead. The wings were just ordinary with not much flavor they looked good though. The service was not that great either. I hate that I traveled way over there. I will stick to the downtown location. read more

Really delicious pho! Flavorful broth, standard toppings (basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, hoisin, sriracha). I got the flash fried steak special pho and it was very flavorful. I think I'll always prefer the rare steak, because of its tender texture. But I was not disappointed by the cooked steak they put in this one. Love going to the Dublin bridge park north market, it's a fun place to walk around. I enjoyed my pho, while my mom and husband got pizza a couple doors down. read more

If you visit the storefront in Dublin North Market, youre able to explore the area while your food is being prepared ( which doesn't take long ). Also want to note that there's street parking and free garage parking. I got my food delivered though and everything was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that the noodles felt a bit dry. I'm not sure if that's how they normally are or if it was due to the delivery time. Overall, I do recommend though. Great place to try banh mi for the first time! read more

This is a cute restaurant inside the North Market Dublin. I ordered the Chicken Pho($12) and the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings($8). The wings were really good! I wasn't a huge fan of the Pho so I may try something else the next time. The staff was really friendly. Everything is cooked to order, so may have a small wait, but it is worth it for those Wings. read more
They lured me in with the picture posted online Garlic Noodles with Chicken. Well I know the posted picture is not always what actual dish looks like however not even close. The Garlic Noodles with Chicken had great flavor and tasted delicious. The salt and pepper shrimp was perfect and went great with the Noddles. This place is located in the new North Market in Dublin, and is close to everything. Next time I want to try the Pho as I saw several customers with this. I also tried the Banh Mi went with the beef which is sliced thin, the depth of flavor was fantastic. read more
First I'm so happy to see more restaurants at the Dublin North Market. There were almost too many choices now:) I stopped here because I was curious what banh mi was on the menu. Needless to say that is what I ordered because of the young lady at the cash register. She was friendly, knowledgeable and you can just see she was genuinely happy to help and teach me something new. I even went with her recommendation of the pork banh mi because she described it so accurately as sweet with a little spice. read more

If you haven't visit the North Market in Bridge Park, make sure you put that in your bucket list. Even though not all the stall is open up just yet, there is pretty of food and vendor for you to explore. Lan Viet is in both downtown and Bridge Park North Market location. The storefront in Bridge Park is bigger that the one in downtown. Beside the typical Vietnamese food items, such as Pho, Banh Mi or Rice and Noodle bowl, there are some special items that trigger my attention [Garlic Noodles, Chicken Curry and Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings]. I definitely have a hard time to decide what to get. I end up getting the basic Pho and Banh Mi combo as a try out. I really like the Mama Lan's Pho Dac Biet. The broth looks thin, however, it packs with in depth flavor. My favorite is the beef slices, which is extremely soft and tender. The Grilled Pork Banh Mi is not too far off either. Definitely can tell the well marinated pork, as the taste is infused with flavor, especially with lemongrass. The only small minus point is the pork is coated with a generous amount of oil, which make it tastes over oily. To be bias, I really like this new Bridge Park location more than the Downtown one. It is way closer to me, but also, they have a more variety of unique menu items to explore. read more
This past Saturday was my first visit to the new North Market at Bridgepark and we were there around lunch. After perusing my options I settled on Lan Viet as I'm always seeking out a good Bahn Mi. I was not disappointed as this Bahn Min had so much flavor! The pork was cooked well and the toppings just made the sandwich. Sometimes these can be lacking in moisture, but between the meet and toppings, it was perfect. I'll be back to try the rest! read more
Checked out the North Market at Bridge Park today looking for some lunch and decided to try Lan Viet, ordered the Chicken Bahn-Mi. It was as i expected it to be fresh and crunchy, chicken was tasty all in all a good choice. Will have to return to sqmple the Pho read more

Went to the Lan Viet at the bridge park north market. The cashier was really helpful in letting me know how the tofu banh mi could be modified to make it vegetarian (no pate). It was delicious! The tofu is a softer style tofu that is fried and seasoned very well. The pickled veggies were zippy and crunchy. They were the perfect contrast to the rich dressing and fried tofu. The bread was sturdy enough to hold the filling but not so crusty that it's difficult to eat. I wish there was one more piece of tofu for the sandwich. I think it would make the perfect. Came here strictly for the garlic noodles based on a picture posted by fellow Yelper, Tom P, and it did not disappoint. I don't believe this item is offered at the Short North location...at least I didn't see it on the menu when I was there a week ago (11/3/21). You can order protein for an up charge, so I opted for chicken. The chicken was nicely flavored and cooked with a little bit of char. The noodles were also pretty tasty. I was a bit disappointed with the portion size since the picture posted by Tom P. (a screenshot off their social media) made the dish look waaaay bigger than it actually was. Suffice it to say...it was enough food to make me feel full, but I definitely could've eaten more. Will def be back for those noodles alone! read more
