Always great service, food quality and prices are super solid. 5 out of 5. Parking is easy and the ambiance is very relaxed, family restaurant environment. Your dollars ain't going to some corporate treasure chest. Feels local. Tastes amazing. Love it.

A solid place for Vietnamese food! My go-to has been the Pho cà ri gà, curry chicken rice noodle (S7), which has a curry flavored broth and chunks of chicken in it. The spice level is pretty mild but the curry flavor is so delicious. It also has onions and some cilantro in it but I added even more cilantro to it and it was . The regular pho and spicy beef noodle are good as well! Service was pretty quick considering we had a huge group. They did mix up an order but that was understandable given the group size.
Nice, friendly and efficient service but the food was just average. I ordered Curry Chicken and it wasn't bad but vegetables were too crunchy for me. Not bad but nothing special. I went with a large group and the general consensus was that the food was just OK.
Delicious and fresh authentic Vietnamese food! Very friendly staff too. The food arrived at our table in a timely manner. The Vietnamese rolls were made upon ordering. Appreciated that there were different varieties available to order. The shrimp was tender, not overcooked. The grilled pork was easy to eat, not tough. Lots of main courses on the menu to choose from. Highly recommend one of their dishes with chicken. The chicken in the dish I ate was perfectly cooked. I liked that it was thin and easy to eat with chopsticks.
Came here on a rainy day during the week and it wasn't too busy. As a Vietnamese person growing up eating the food, I am extra picky with my Vietnamese food. Service was fast which I appreciated. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls, combination pho, and the eggroll + grilled pork vermicelli noodle combo. We also ordered a mango smoothie and thai iced tea. The spring rolls came out right away. There wasn't enough of the peanut dipping sauce and the rolls barely had any noodles and were missing the herbs so I was bummed about that. Our entrees came out not too long after. The pork in the vermicelli noodles were pretty good - not dry and had good flavor. I will say the egg rolls were pretty good also! It was just a bummer you only get one in the entire bowl. We ended up ordering a side of eggrolls to put in the noodles. The pho was just okay. It was almost on the bland side for me since the broth seemed watered down. I was sad to see they didn't have bun bo hue (Vietnamese spicy & sour soup) as that is also a Vietnamese staple.

The wife came to take our orders and I asked for suggestions. She said the soups and stir fry are the best options. I went with a very spicy beef stir fry option she suggested, while my friend for a spicy beef soup. Sizzle sizzle! It was hot! But also very well flavored and so delicious! The stir fry had lots of basil, bean sprouts and maybe egg? They used the wide flat noodles, so I got full fast. My friend loves spicy food, even has a hotter spice tolerance than me. (She doesn't think the hottest option at HCT is even all that spicy lol). I was shocked to hear that it was so spicy for her!! I also got Thai iced tea while she also ordered an iced tea to cool her tongue. So refreshing! Really great, friendly service here. Can't wait to come back and try many things off the menu!
This is authentic Vietnamese food! A very friendly lady generously waved her arm to let us choose our seats. It comforted us to see that the other patrons were Vietnamese. My husband ordered the pho and I ordered the stir-fried basil beef flat noodles. We also ordered an appetizer. When she brought our appetizer, she also brought a large cup of hot water that contained our metal utensils. I was impressed. What a great idea! I mean, in the winter, who wants to eat their meal with cold utensils? The appetizer was OK. The bowl of pho was brought out by a man. I thought that is smart to let the stronger person bring out the heavy bowls of soup. If I served soup all day, I know I would be wiped out. My husband said is pho was delicious and filled him up just right. When I took a bite of my noodles, all I could say was, "Yes, yes, and yes!" We will definitely come again.
One of the top restaurants in Columbus. Almost every option on the menu is great. The S16 is a great spicy pho option. Banh Mi and Vietnamese Egg Rolls are two other favorites. Service is quick and very affordable restaurant.
I got the chicken pho and my girlfriend got the chicken fried rice. The meat was extremely juicy and flavorful, highlighted for me by the soothing, perfectly seasoned broth. It came with fresh bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeños and a hefty serving size for a "small". I really appreciated the speedy and friendly service. We also got two waters and menus at our table almost immediately. Definitely not our last trip here!
All I can say is Wow! The shrimp spring rolls.... amazing! The chicken rice noodle soup bowl...also amazing! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. This family run restaurant is a true gem. Service is fast and accurate. The prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend.

One of the top restaurants in Columbus. Almost every option on the menu is great. The S16 is a great spicy pho option. Banh Mi and Vietnamese Egg Rolls are two other favorites. Service is quick and very affordable restaurant. read more

On my final full day in Columbus, after shopping at two amazing grocery stores (Fresh Market and Trader Joe's), I was hungry. I did a quick Yelp search and found Pho Chef. I drove over there, which was a ridiculous three minutes away from the latter grocery store. I realized recently that no matter where I am in this world, I tend to get Vietnamese food. In Frankfurt? Yes, I hit a pho restaurant. Columbus was no different. I parked in a plaza on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't have a problem finding a spot. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a smiling woman. I got a table, sat down, and started leaving through the menu. Most Vietnamese restaurants tends to offer your usual fresh rolls, pho, vermicelli rolls, and rice dishes. Pho Chef is unique in that you can also get banh mi sandwiches. You are already in my good books! I got grilled meatballs as an appetizer. I then got beef brisket and flank pho. You get pho in small and large sizes only. I had to ask my server how large the large size was. If you know me well, I tend to point to the bowl size that a patron has, which makes me visualize better. "Is the large what that person is eating?" I asked my server. "That's a small. The large is what the man behind you is eating," she replied. It's nice that she went along with me. I forgot that being in the States, sizes are larger than you think they are. I went with a small, which is really our large. The grilled meatballs came first. They were tasty, flavourful, and just downright yummy. I was in heaven eating them and dipping them in the sauce that accompanied them. My beef brisket and flank pho came. It looked so good. It came with bean sprouts, hot peppers that were sliced, and mint. It did not have a lime wedge, which didn't upset me. It was a flashback to how I used to eat pho. The verdict? The soup broth was delicious. It was authentic and perfect. It wasn't salty. The brisket and flank were tender and full of flavour. I tend to cringe when I get tough flank. I didn't here. I absolutely stumbled on a gem of a restaurant. I got my bill, which came with a fortune cookie. I broke my fortune cookie open and ate it. I still need to play my lucky lottery numbers. I paid at the counter. Credit cards are accepted. I let the woman know how yummy the food was. She appreciated it, called me sweetie, and gave me my bill. I visited the washroom before leaving. It was clean. There is only one washroom for women and another for men. When I am back in Columbus, I'm definitely returning here. I'd love to give the banh mi varieties a try. (420) read more
Got the pho with "filet," double meat. Broth was just perfect after some chili paste and lime. I couldn't get enough of it. I was drinking the broth from the bowl haha. Egg rolls tasted great as well. My Vietnamese friend loved it as well. Best part is it's just down the street. These people will know my name very soon. read more

Pho Chef is another pho place in northwest Columbus. It's in a strip mall. This is the same one with the other Asian place that changes all the time. It's a bit more authentic. The prices are mostly okay. I had the Basil Tofu Flat Noodles It's about $7.50 for this which isn't bad for the portion. Maybe it's not the best, but it's not the worst. It's one of the few vegan items on the menu. They only have meat broth for pho. It has several noodle and rice dishes. The menu is pretty authentic looking. It certainly is more so than those Americanized get your pho at the counter places that are popular around here. The spice is also much stronger. Pho Chef is a good place for Asian. It's specialty is pho of course. You can also find other Asian items. read more

Never had Pho before, so this was my first time! It was delicious! I did decide to get it spicy and it was spicy so if you love hot/spicy things you will like a lot! Or they have options that are not so spicy/hot. Highly recommend! read more
This is a great pho place in the Dublin area. Food is excellent and flavorful. They are friendly and super fast. I had a steak and meatball phó and Vietnamese egg rolls. The price is great as well. They also loaded you up with basil, bean sprouts, lime, and sliced jalapeño for the phó! read more

Great food and customer service. I've been coming here for years and typically always go with curry chicken soup and the chicken banh mi sandwich. This time I went with the shrimp pho and banh mi sandwich. Love this place and whenever I need comfort food, this is one of my spots. read more

Delicious. Clean and reasonable. Family own. Got the Thai iced tea and a large pho with beef. Love the sauces and condiments were on the table already and self serve for that. No need to bother the servers. Great place. read more
We've been to to this place a couple of times. Got some takeout from Pho-Chef most recently. We wanted one of their pork banh-mi sandwiches but they were out. Got the beef Pho and the vermicelli with shrimp and pork. For appetizers we got the cold rice wrap, which is a soft Vietnamese spring roll with shrimp. The roll was quite good, especially with the accompanying peanut sauce. The pork in the vermicelli dish was delicious but the shrimp was not that great. The pho was okay. This is a pretty decent pho place, but I would personally rate it somewhat lower than others like buckeye pho that are not too far away. read more
