We have driven by this store for years and never went in. Definitely take a moment to go in before they close! They have signs up that say they are closing (but there is also a "we're hiring" sign so not sure what the story is; no one on the staff talked to us while we were there). Why do go in? The selection is incredible. I always thought "Lamps PLUS" meant just plus-the-awesomeness, lamps only. No, the "plus" means they have other things - mirrors, tables, wall sculptures. We weren't exactly sure what was on sale - if it was everything and/or just the some things that had special clearance signs. The gigantic and amazing chandeliers, way out of our budget and way too big for our residence but SO gorgeous. The best deals in the store, imo, were the bathroom lights. Also, they have a very large selection of outdoor lights (like if you have a light in front of your door or flanking your garage). read more

You had one job. Just wrap up the lamp I bought so I could take it home with all parts attached. Looks like they forgot a critical piece, the cap that keeps the shade on. Glad this business is closing. read more

4 salespeople walking the floor yet no one could tell us if a lamp was available for purchase. Then we were told the floor model wasn't for sale and one would have to be ordered. Do stores sell things anymore? read more

We visited the Tukwila Lamps Plus location recently. We were underwhelmed until we were approached by.Amaud Thomas. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, confident, and helpful. Things you don't typically find in today's world of customer service. Whether or not the products will work out for us when they arrive remains up in the air. Regardless, I would recommend this as a lighting destination, simply because of Amaud Thomas. read more

Went in to get rare part for bathroom light fixtures and customer service was great. I was shown parts immediately of what possibly might work and charged very little for part. Thank you for an amazing customer experience. Very Happy read more

Amadu was super helpful made order easy. When I went back in he was off Vicki helped process order quickly

Love this place. Vicki and Dana rock! I've gotten multiple lamps. Would do it all over again. read more

We purchased a lamp at your Tukwila store, the salesperson was Vicki O. She was so capable and kind, offered to ship the lamp to our home with free shipping. We had not seen the lamp but it looked perfect online. However, upon delivery yesterday, two things occurred...the shade was extremely damaged, and we realized the lamp was a little too large for where it was going to be placed. Today we returned to the store with the lamp and the return process was so easy and gracious. Vicki ordered another lamp for us that was not in the store, one I had seen online that I think will be perfect. But I know if there is a problem, she will remedy it for me. Great Customer Service! read more

Excellent service and selection! Received 2nd floor lamp in only three days . Amaud was superb and very professional

I'm in the parking lot writing this review because I am SO impressed with the selection and service I received today. Vicky and Shawna and two of the most knowledgeable, professional and kind people I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Amazing designers! Prompt, friendly, welcome extended to me within moments of entering the store and professional service throughout my experience. Lots of beautiful lighting options! I highly recommend! read more

We originally purchased a bunch of light fixtures from this store, and found two (Possini Euro Lighting on the Square bath light) to be of poor quality. We returned them to the Tukwila store, and purchased two new fixtures (one Quorum International Modus 4 light fixture and one Quorum International Modus 3 light fixture) to replace the ones we returned. The staff were very helpful with both transactions. We thought that there would be a delay in receiving the ordered fixtures, but were pleasantly surprised to receive both fixtures. They are very beautiful, and are just what we'd hoped for. The staff and service at the Tukwila store have been very good. We just wish that Lamps Plus would do a better job of reviewing the quality of the fixtures they sell. read more

When it came time to updating our kitchen ceiling lights, Shawna and John were very knowledgeable and helpful. We're looking forward to having them help us with the kitchen under cabinet lights as well. read more

Fantastic Service!! Shawna and John both were really helpful the store was really busy and they were still able to give great service. Shawna helped us pick out a mirror and lights for our guest bathroom and the prices seemed comparable to other places we looked and but we just received much better service here. We highly recommended. read more

First time it was very welcoming and the employees are courteous and helpful. If you are looking for lamps this is your place to shop.

The usual joke is that Lamps Plus should have my name on the side of the building because of the number of great purchases I've made over the years. The latest acquisitions were two great chairs for the office. Accolades were prolific and profound. The topper was the store manager, helping with shipping and product availability, drove to the Lynwood store, and personally delivered both chairs to my office. Thank you all for the assistance in my receiving the ordered chairs, in short order. Lol. Very well done! Christopher read more

I love LampsPlus! Each lighting purchase I make I shop a variety of sites but always come back to LampsPlus. I like that there are showrooms I can visit and the online search with all the filters is the best on the web. read more

They made are visit comfortable as we did are thing. They all made themselves available when needed and played "hand in hand" well with one another. Lamps Plus - Crystal Medium Sized Pendant for a corner in Mum's Bedroom! - Home Decor Near Me - Tukwila, Washington

Can't sing enough praises for the team at the Tukwila store. We've done several remodels and worked with this chain throughout both in-store and online with great success. Our most recent experience in Tukwila just underscored my level of trust and confidence in Lamps Plus's service and expertise. With their help we ordered a lamp over the phone, had it delivered to the store for us to check it out, brought it home to see how it worked in the room and because it wasn't just right in the space, ended up returning it. From start to finish, they were customer-focused, making sure it was just what we wanted and being totally cool when we brought it back. Makes all the difference by eliminating the hassle and risk involved in making a major purchase. I'm a big fan, and would recommend them without reservation. read more

We had 3 transactions in the last few weeks, including a couple of returns. The handling of the returns was efficient and the the refund processed with no hassle. Vicki was a great help and made the process pleasant. She also provided knowledgeable assistance in making our new selections. I would highly recommend Lamps Plus and Vicki as your contact. read more

In the midst of a remodel, supply chain issues, we were desperate for the perfect lighting for our bedroom, closet, and bathroom. We had very specific wants, and wouldn't you know, we satisfied all of those lighting wants at Lamps Plus. We found the perfect vanity lights - and they were in stock. We found the most gorgeous bedroom ceiling light - also in stock! We ordered a ceiling light for our closet, and got it within days. Unfortunately, it was too big. We fixed up the box our contractor kinda busted, re-packed the light and put it in the car. When we pulled up, Shawna, the store manager, met us at the car and carried the light in. The sales team, particularly John, immediately helped us find a replacement that fit and we fell in love with. I will Never buy lighting anywhere else, these guys are AWESOME!! read more

Tons and tons to choose from but sadly, nothing that really suited what I was looking for. But don't take my word for it - people have different taste! I spotted sconces, floor lamps, table lamps, chandeliers, indoor lights, outdoor lights - even furniture and pillows and accessories. I'm looking for mid century modern style table lamps and here there was nothing to be found. But I saw great deals, sale items, and was greeted warmly by a sales associate. If only I was looking for something else, I'm sure Lamps Plus had it. Glad I popped by to look! read more

Lamps Plus used to be dotted all around this area, but with the economic downturn many locations closed shop for good. This is one of the few that remain in this area, and they have done a good job at making it a must stop location for lighting needs. Located in a strip mall the parking lot can be a little chaotic as people zip in and out. I would recommend people go to the light closest to the store and turn in there and go the back way. It is seldom used and makes for an easier path to the store. The store itself is full of lights. They have chandeliers, floor lamps, table lamps, tape lights, puck lights, rope lights, gaudy lights that seem like from another decade, sleek modern lights that look from the future. They have a large selection of bulbs including a great selection of LED bulbs. The staff here are very friendly and extremely helpful. The first time I went here it was fifteen minutes before closing, yet I was caught up talking with an employee about a particular type of light. Before I knew it as I was checking out forty five minutes had passed! Yet, no one complained. No one gave me the stink eye. They were as cheery with me as I left as they were when I entered. The next time I bought a bulb and it didn't work. I went back that day and they exchanged it immediately, without even looking at my receipt. They were extremely apologetic, even though they really had nothing to apologize for! They truly are sweet. And did you know that they have more then just lamps? They have decorative fountains and a good selection of bar stools as well as end tables! I would highly recommend stopping by. read more

I don't usually rate big chain stores but I was very favorably impressed by the salespeople here. Very knowledgeable about their products, able to recommend lower cost variations of what you're looking for, can help you sort through all the new bulb types so you get the lighting you need for every room. Highly recommend. read more

With all the varieties of light bulbs available, choosing the right type of lighting for my lamp application, required some personal service that you cannot get at a big box home center...thankfully my local Lamps Plus store had someone that worked with me on a solution to finding an appropriate light bulb. Ask for "Ramla" at the Tukwila store, she was very helpful. read more

Can't say enough good things about the customer service here. I was building out a restaurant and we were up against a deadline. Aspen (I think that was her name?) and her manager were nice enough to stay open a few minutes after closing to sell us some cheap parts that we needed to get the job done. Not something you see everyday. Don't really expect anyone to go above and beyond like they did. Really grateful for the employees here. read more

Austin came out to our condominium with sample lights and gave us the expertise and attention we needed. We were looking to replace 75 outside dusk to dawn lights for the entire condominium project and had been unable to find a suitable light. Everyone wore a mask. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought 2 Kovacs vanity light fixtures. The bulbs are halogen, not something I like. The sales person said I could replace with LED's now or wait the 2 years for the halogen to burn out. It was a good experience. read more

My most recent trip to lamps plus was good. I came in the store and the first person to greet me was Matthew. After asking if he could help me, I informed him that I was just browsing. A few minutes later I found him and began to ask him him about lamps to put on my end table. After our chat I learned the different types of bulbs I could use and how important lamp shades are in determining the percentage of light a room received so that I could make an informed decision. Kudos to lamps plus for hiring a young man with such fantastic customer service skill and knowledge. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I highly recommend Lamps Plus! I purchased numerous chandeliers, wall sconces and outdoor lighting for my remodel. Gina, the lighting designer, came to my home and offered suggestions on items I had not seen in the store! Her customer service is above and beyond. And when I did go into the store, not only was Gina helpful, but so was Jade, John and the manager (I cannot remember her name... sorry!) Anyway, THANK YOU GINA and Lamps Plus for lighting my life! And I got a few pillows and chairs, too! read more

It was really nice. Beautiful lighting everywhere. It was nice being left alone to look around, but it's also nice being acknowledged when you walk through the door at least. Expensive lighting that you can also get at Lowe's and Home Depot. read more

Loved them years ago. A few weeks ago, ordered a couple lamps. Never got an email, had to call them to find out what was going on after a couple weeks of nothing. They explained that nothing really processes until the item ships. We checked on the order, was told everything was good and should be shipping the next day. I should get an email about it then. Well I definitely got an email, but it was the company telling me something went wrong and they would be shipping it at the end of the month. I responded telling them his was unacceptable. No communication, then something went wrong. They didn't even tell me what went wrong. I told them they needed to rectify the situation, or I'd be cancelling. I got a response days later and was told it was out of their control and all they could do was lessen the shipping time from 5 to three days once it shipped. The company wouldn't even admit they screwed up! I immediately called after this and cancelled my order. You don't get charge 200$ per lamp and then treat the customer this way. The company is going downhill I warn everyone. They run out of stock and won't even tell you, then blame it on their vendors. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. read more

This is the place to go for all things lighting, home decor, and great service. John Anderson helped us find the perfect fit for our home, and his staff helped us fit it into our vehicle! Every time we come here it's a great experience. Highly recommend! read more

Service is like a million stars. That nice man who helped us offered to bring the lamp home, plug it in, make me some tea and fluff my pillow. Okay, that didn't happen but he was soooo nice and helpful. The prices are all over the place, however. The sale prices are awesome, the regular prices not so awesome. We've been searching for a chandelier in all the hardware stores and finally came here to compare, prices were much higher on some items, and a bit less on a few, but the selection was much better (natch, it's a specialty store, duh!) My husband also picked up a killer deal on a fancy rug for me here and I got an amazing crystal-looking deco lamp for basically free (it was 90% off) awe-some when you find something but pricey if you're not being careful. read more

They have some awesome lamps here. There always seems to be some kind of sale going on. I bought two lamps (on sale) and might buy one more. I guess this makes me a lamp whore. I love lamp. A joke from day one. I bought a Casa Vieja ceiling fan for $200 and was told I that I had to buy the blades for it extra but it had a remote control. Got home installed and found it did not have a remote so they told me to un install it and bring it back. I did and they gave me the remote for $20 extra. It started to smoke so I was told to return it and get a new one. I did and installed that that but the new one ran at over 110 degress while on and called customer service who sadi that was not right but they said if I paid more get me a better one and they would install it. After looking in pretty much every other lighting store in the greater Seattle area, we made our way to Lamps Plus one recent afternoon. We were planning to install two overhead lights in our living room and had made a decision about what we wanted and how we wanted them configured. But, had, so far, failed to find quite the right thing. And, I was starting to get nervous as we had an electrician coming over to do the install just a couple of days later. So, the clock was ticking down. At Lamps Plus, we found the exactly the right lights to turn our idea into a reality. We also found extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff, who truly made us feel they were appreciative of our business. We happened to hit a "just about everything on sale" sale, which made their already reasonable prices all the better. Looking around the store, I saw a number of truly fabulous lights and lamps that are not quite what we are looking for right now. But, you never know what the future will bring. And, we know we'll be needing some additional (outside) lights in the not-too-distant future. Next time, we'll definitely make Lamps Plus our first stop (and quite possibly our last as well). read more
