Awful Service Department! Brought my car in due to a shaking car when I press on my brakes, a leak, and low tire pressure. A get a call a few days later with a $2600 quote. I needed my car, trusted Freddie and told him to move forward. I pick up my car the next day. I get in my car and the tire pressure light is still on. I request to speak to Freddie. He looks at the work order and sees in fact that it was something that should have been looked at. He pulls the technician in To tell me the tire needs to be replaced because of where the nail is. Freddie says bring it back. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. They had my car at this point for over a week. Who has time to sit in a waiting room to wait for a tire to be fixed after it being in the service department for over a week. I left and brought it elsewhere. A month later, my car breaks down! I get it towed to Lamarque Ford and was told it would take 5 to 7 days to take a look at what the problem is. No car loaners or even rentals. I spent $780 on a rental! I called to follow up with Freddie several times because I didn't want to be forgotten, I know how Lamarque is. After a week and a half I get an excuse from Freddie that they are short mechanics, it's not his fault. Well I told him I will pick my car up and get it serviced elsewhere. I get a call back a few hours later, $1,700 worth of work needs to be done. I lost it, so the work that was done a month ago didn't need to be done and now I'm having to pay $1,700 for more work?! I immediately got my car towed FROM Lamarque Ford and sent it to another mechanic shop. I get a call from Lamarque because they didn't know my car was being towed and left equipment in my car. I said we'll go get it. I then spoke to John the Service manager and he then said "We were wrong and I was going to call you and not charge you labor and get you our almost costs for parts". BULL CRAP! He only spoke to me because I was yelling and screaming. My car was looked at that day and I picked it up that evening spending $125 to get it fixed! $125!!!!!!!! I called the service manager back and have left him a message with no return phone call! I have also called Lamarque GM with no phone call back and tried leaving messages for Ronnie Lamarque but have gotten the go around with that as well. I will be making a report through Ford Corporate ! Ford service department is nothing but a bunch of scammers. I was in talks with Donnie Re to purchase a 2020 Ford Explorer, but after having to deal with the service department I didn't make the deal. I would HATE to deal with the service department for another lifetime of another vehicle. I will never buy another ford and would never recommend Lamarque Ford to service any vehicle. read more

I had an excellent experience with Lamarque Ford on Williams Blvd in Kenner, LA, and I can't say enough good things about the level of customer service I received. From the start, Ray Gautreaux was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. He was very flexible with my schedule, coordinating times for me to come by and look at and test-drive a used 2019 Ford F-150 King Ranch with 165,000 miles. Ray even took the extra step of taking the truck to a local mechanic of my choosing for a pre-purchase inspection. The mechanic found no issues; however, when I personally inspected the truck, I noticed rear-end damage that caused the backup sensors and rear camera to not work, and I also found that the heater was not working. I explained what I had found to Ray, and without hesitation, Lamarque Ford immediately offered to either lower the price or fix the issues. I chose to have the issues repaired, and they handled everything quickly and professionally. The rear camera, reverse sensors, and heater were inspected and corrected in no time. Ray kept me informed throughout the process and contacted me as soon as the truck was ready. After picking up the truck, I drove home in heavy rain and initially thought I was just hitting water, but over the weekend I realized there was definitely an issue. I took it to a local transmission shop, where they confirmed it wasn't the transmission at all, but a misfire on cylinder 3. I immediately contacted Ray, who suggested I reach out to Courtney Kennedy, who had managed the prior service work. Courtney was outstanding. She had me bring the truck in right away, and her team was able to reproduce the issue. They diagnosed the problem as a failed valve cover and gasket along with a bad O-ring that allowed oil to leak into the cylinders. They replaced the valve covers, gaskets, O-ring, and spark plugs, kept me informed of everything that was done, and let me know as soon as the truck was ready. I was not charged for any of the repairs or parts, which truly speaks volumes about Lamarque Ford standing behind their vehicles and their customers. To go above and beyond, Courtney even arranged to have the truck delivered to my home on the Northshore. Since then, I've had zero issues with the vehicle--it's been running great, especially considering the mileage. I sincerely want to thank Ray Gautreaux and Courtney Kennedy for their professionalism, honesty, and commitment to customer satisfaction. They truly went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of and happy with my purchase. We buy work trucks....The decision to purchase Ford F350's was made long ago. You see the ads, do the online research before you head to the dealerships and you pretty much know what you want before you get there. All of the large dealerships are about the same. What's not the same are the relationships. When I go to Lamarque I know everybody. They don't have a lot of turnover. I don't get a salesman that sold Honda's last week and life insurance the month before. In fact I've had the same salesman for more than 20 years, Guy Perniciaro. He's been at the dealership since Regan was in the White House. Buying a truck from Guy puts me at ease. I know I get a great truck and a fair deal and I'm not getting hustled. Could I save $300 driving to Houston or needling the deal for hours? Maybe. My my time and my peace of mind is worth more than squeezing the last possible penny out of a deal. Guy gives me great pricing and always calls me when the factory has the most lucrative incentive programs running. I saved $3,750 in incentives AFTER the best deal was made on the 2016. So I know I got a great truck at a great price. Forget the ads, the billboards, the BS...build a relationship with a rep that will be there the next time you call. Very happy with Lamarque read more

Where do I start?! I bought a brand new Ford Bronco Sport in '22.... I am very upset about FORD in general because my 2022 Bronco Sport has been moaning sporadically in reverse- since we bought it. We bought it new from LAMARQUE FORD. It was there at Lamarque FORD for hail damage repair for SEVERAL MONTHS (waiting on parts) They would not even address the moaning issue!!!! They just said the brakes were ok - and it didn't make the noise when they had it. At least BILL HOOD in Hammond, La heard it and told me the truth of the matter....that "FORD knows about the moaning sounds that the bronco's make, but they WILL NOT do anything about it because it doesn't impede the performance." Who wants to buy a NEW vehicle that moans!?!?!?! (VERY LOUDLY) I'm very disappointed in FORD and this vehicle! Where do I start my review. I purchased a used 2004 BMW 325ci from Lamarque the sales person Patrick was great. I had the vehicle for 2 days and had to bring it back, I was given a rental and drove that for about a week. Got my car back for about 4 days and had to bring it back. At this point the service manager Derek went above and beyond doing everything he could to get every problem fixed. I was in a rental 2 or 3 times while Ford (Derek) sent my car to BMW to have it fully checked out. I can say Derek stayed intouch with me through the entire ordeal and kept me up to speed. I've had my car for about a month now and everything is Excellent. I even brought it in for service and they found a small issue and wouldn't let me leave until the issue was fixed. My first complaint is I came on a Saturday to buy my car and they only had one finance manager which made the process take a few hours... then after been told several times, just a couple of more minutes sir, it was take another 30+ minutes. On top of that the car didn't have floor mats. When I asked for some they offered up these cheats mats because they said it wasn't in the budget. Seriously you pay almost 30k for a car and the dealership can't get $80 floor mats wtf!!!! Then my first service call I was told it would take 45 mins to wash the car and do the key.. after sitting for 1 1/2 hours I was told it was gonna be another hour... then on top of that he didn't even offer up a refreshment or anything.... probably won't be coming back to this dealership again.. I mean I understand people make mistakes and sometimes things change but damn even the doctor and banks give out lollipops... can I catch a break.. read more

I have never had a problem with them with anything over the last 3 years. My wife recently took our car to get serviced and they took her to the mall and told her they would pick her back up and they never asked for her number and they left her there. The service department did not try to reach her or try to pick her up where they said they would. They had to send a sales person to pick her up and the service department closed and left her keys up front. I am very disappointed in this and I use to have high regard for this dealership and the service but this is pathetic to leave my wife without a way to get her car. The young lady (Haley) had absolutely exceeded my expectation of quality customer service. I do admit I can be difficult and demanding. However she was very quick to adapt to the tone of the conversation, most important of all she maintained control of the dialogue and herself. It would have been very easy to have reacted poorly. I did speak to John (service and Prats manager) about how well Haley handled the situation and of a less the complimenting situation that took place while Haley was working with me. On November 28,2016 I stopped by Lamarque Ford because my 2015 Lincoln Navigator low pressure tire light had come on and wanted it checked out. I was greeted by Kristy Vidrine a very personable Service Advisor. I had dealt with Kristy before and remembered her to be professional and accommodating and she was once again. Received a letter from Ford about a recall on my 2016 Escape to replace a throttle control. Called Lamarque to set up an appointment and was told it wasn't necessary, just come on in. Got there about 9:30 one morning and was told it make take four hours or more to replace. Left my cell phone number and walked to a restaurant near by for breakfast.
