We are actively looking for a Lincoln Navigator. A 2023 to 2025 with less than 50k miles. Colors and options are negotiable. We drove 3 hours to see a Navigator that this dealership said they had. When we called to make sure it was still available, the sales douche we got literally said it's not here and said it would be there Monday and hung up on us. There were 3 or 4 of the Navigators they supposedly had that we would have purchased, but we specifically asked about the one we were most interested in first. 60,000 dollar purchase blown up because your sales people are a$$ holes. read more

So I feel like I do that right thing by going to the dealership to get service parts and fluids for my vehicle instead of going to a generic auto parts store. However, the service here in the parts is insanely bad and lifeless. I come in with a smile on my face and leave disappointed and aggravated because I was handled so poorly, I asked questions while order my parts and never got a response, and was also rudely handled. Insane to me that you can get better customer service at a local auto parts store. Would not recommend this location for parts. read more

One star is a star too many. My experience with Ford keeps getting worst and worst. This time I had a leak in my spare tire cavity. I took the car in and a month latter they called me to pick up the car (Yes a month). To say the car was not ready is a monumental understatement. But I'll let the photos speak for themselves, they speak louder than words. The car was missing half the trunk. The guy at service was pretty useless and wanted me to come back on Monday. He said it wasn't their fault that it was the body shop. And who cares whose fault it is... bottom line no one should be asked to drive out in a car with an incomplete job. Who does quality control in this place? And who is in charge of customer services? I will never ever, ever recommend Ford as a brand or for services. Do not purchase any used car from them. I wish I would have read the reviews from other people and their issues with used cars. I expected some minor issues with buying an older model vehicle. But within months of purchase, have had to replace brakes, computer module, alternator, battery and timing belt. Almost $3,000 in repairs and likely still not done. I understand some minor repairs and replacements, but with so many so soon, really think a lot of these issues were known and not disclosed. Would not recommend to anyone and will definitely not be returning. Please check other websites for reviews and you will see my experience is shared by many others. read more

We had been contemplating what suv to get and have been to a few dealerships. Lamarque made all the difference! Easily put, I went to another dealership and looked at a car that was the same size, same amenities, same price but didn't get it. Our sales person was great but when we talked numbers with the finance guy he lost us. Every single person at lamarque was dedicated to help and understand. They worked every angle and truly made it enjoyable. I will say I spent 4 hours there and that was a huge downfall. But everything they've done surpasses what we expected at a car dealership. Evan C. Was our sales person and did an amazing job with us. He listened, reasoned, informed etc. did an all around great job and was by far the best car salesman we've met. My husband and I left knowing we will be buying from him again wherever he is because he did that good of a job. Diane our finance person was also a huge plus. I own a 2022 Ford Edge Titanium with, at the time (April 2024), I had 70,000 miles on it. I am from Houston, TX and was in Metairie on business for 6 months starting in January. I received a response call to my phone inquiry from their rep to schedule a service and I told him that I think I needed a transmission fluid change. I told the rep that my transmission was having trouble shifting through the gears. This was back in early April of this year. Their representative flatly refused to service my transmission fluid because he suspected that "I had issues with my transmission". He was very direct about it and not very polite, nor did he seem as knowledgeable about Ford transmissions as he tried to portrayed himself to be. I had to ask him several times as I could not believe he was actually flatly refusing to service my transmission fluid. To be clear, I asked one last time, "so you are refusing to change my transmission fluid?" and he directly said "yes". Perhaps he must have thought it might be a liability (???). I have no idea? I went instead to Matt Bowers Ford in Metairie to get my transmission fluid changed along with an oil change, complete vehicle check, and a four-wheel alignment (the Springtime package), and they told me that the original transmission fluid had some very fine debris in it that may have been partially interfering with one or two of the shifting solenoids. Matt Bowers Ford happily changed the transmission fluid for me. This immediately fixed the shifting problems. It is later August 2024 now, and I have not had one single problem with my transmission. I couldn't be happier. I had an additional 12V accessory socket that needed to be replaced at Matt Bowers Ford that I happily spent an additional $340.00 on. They were so nice and helpful to me and they provided shuttle transportation to and from work while my vehicle was being worked on. Matt Bowers Ford had truly won my business. I am letting you know this now because four months later, the way I was treated at Lamarque Ford over the phone is still eating at me, and I feel I had to write this for closure. While I am in New Orleans in the future, I will make sure that I do not do business with Lamarque Ford as they have shown that they are clearly not interested in my business. read more

I purchased a 2019 f150 with 108,000 miles on it from the Harahan store. 3 weeks later the check engine light comes, i take it in to dealership and they tell me the truck would sit for a while before they get to it. I ask for a loaner they don't provide loaners so I don't have another vehicle and the one i just bought has issues so i cant leave it. So i get a car that i can use 2 weeks later i bring truck in and after a week I get a call saying the catalytic converter is bad and not covered. Not covered on a vehicle that i just bought a month ago and all you can do is cut the price from $2000 to $1300. This is unacceptable for a newly purchased vehicle only having for 1 month. This makes me feel like that code was cleared and they sold me the truck knowing the cats where bad. read more

The Service Department does not provide complete inspections before allowing a vehicle to leave. Ask for an inspection report before you leave. They won't be able to provide one. I cannot stress enough how unsafe this department operates. Additionally, their behavior is unprofessional and unorganized. Don't walk, RUN away from this dealership's service. We received great service at Lamarque Ford. We initially brought the vehicle to another Ford dealer and were told they wouldn't honor the recall and would charge us for repairs. They even suggested we trade in the car. I called 1-800-Ford recall number and we were connected with Lamarque Ford. We had the best experience, Lamarque not only honored the recall, but made additional repairs covered by a warranty purchased through the original dealer. The customer service was outstanding and kept us informed of repairs and charges. I recommend Freddy Gassen and the team at Lamarque Ford. We do not live near Lamarque but will gladly drive past other Ford dealers to work with them again. read more

I have 3 recalls on my 2020 Ford Explorer. The most recent one was a safety recall. I called Lamarque to schedule an appointment and was recommended to be at Service when they open. I was 1st in line, was told to go to QuickLane and when I spoke to the service tech, was told I would need to leave the vehicle for a day or two. I don't have extra vehicles that would allow me to leave my only transportation for a day or two. What's "Quick" about Quick Lane when you have to leave your car for a day or two? I have been a Ford customer for many years, but I guess it's time for me to trade it in for a Toyota Hybrid. read more

The FORD technical support line told me I needed to bring my truck, which is under warranty to a dealership to have diagnostics run on my radio. When I called Lamarque Ford they told me I had to leave my truck with them for 5 days. Since this is my only vehicle, I ask them if I could schedule a day for them to look at it. They told me that the earliest appointment I could make is March of 2023! This makes no sense to me. A great reason to never buy anything from this dealership. read more

Bought a Ford f150 from Lamarque in 12/09/19, truck had a major safety recall that was issued on 4/19 involving the lead frame assembly. Truck shifts to 1st gear suddenly and unexpectantly, 1st time this happened nearly crossed over the median. Called Lamarque and they will do nothing to assist, do not buy a car from these folks. They sold the truck to me without any notice of the recall and will do nothing to assist with fixing the issues. read more

This was the first time I purchased a vehicle out of state and Jaimy made the entire transaction from start to finish easy. After checking the car out and attempting to open the car's doors: We stood around, next to the car, inside the showroom for 7 minutes and 13 seconds before we decided to walk out. - All of the salesmen that we could see were playing on their phones/laid back in their chairs with their feet on their desks/walking around talking to each other... I have bought a few vehicles here. They were the first car dealer I bought from when I moved to New Orleans. I must confess, the last name Lamarque seemed so damn cool, I had to check them out. Even back when I needed special financing they were able to help. They always treated me respectfully. We went this past week to buy a truck. We had a couple issues with the deal and as soon as these were brought to the attention of the dealership manager, they promised they would be fixed. We never really reached full resolution, but I don't think that was the salesman's fault. The cool Louisiana shaped dealer emblem they stick on the back of vehicles is a local badge that is easy to spot in other parts of the country. They are a local institution for sure, but like any other dealer, they have their good and bad points. I appreciate that they take the time to be sure you are happy, and they are one of the few dealerships in the area that you receive great service from the parts and service department. BEWARE!!!! They will tell you the used cars go through a 12 point inspection to just find out they DONT!! Bought a 2019 Volvo was told it went through a inspection in Oct. 2 weeks later I had to get 4 new tires, $1,400, while the tires were off, they showed me the brake pads, well there basically were NO pads, had to be replaced also, I called them they said they would replace them for free, really free if it went through a 12 point inspection then they would've seen that. A month later the air blows out warm, take it to a mechanic and NO freon, called again, I was told they wouldn't fix and its not their fault the air is messed up, I should've gotten the extra warranty, while I know you can't make a used car run forever, I would have liked to have it run good for at least longer then a couple of months, It ha4 50,000 miles and I paid over $30,000 for the car! This is just ridiculous. So now I'm at about $35,000 for this car. I won't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Well. Do not waste your time with the service center. I understand being full and busy but this is ridiculous. The effort I experienced was more to get rid of me versus looking for solutions. My a/c was out. Came by Lamarque Service and parked under the sign that said no "appointment necessary" and walked in the service area. Sat in the outside service center and after just a few minutes a service center woman came up and asked if she could help. Told her my issue. She said "do you have an appointment?" No. "Then it's 5 days. You leave it here and we will call you next week." Then just walked away. Was rude and more interested in removing me versus servicing me. Very disappointing read more

Buy a new scape 2022 from Lamarque ford in Kenner. I have this scape for about 5 months . 2 months ago was a light in the panel and was the powertrain Malfunction. They tow the car to the dealer , and they say that they was going to check the car in 2 weeks . So I don't have a car . I told Jimmy the manager I need a car to move around in the time my car is in there shop. Well a week later they put me in a rental from there dealership. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Please don't waste your time at this dealership. I went there to look at a vehicle, and when we got there it was a hunk of junk! There's was issues with the body that was not pictured, nor told to us before our long drive there. The inside although was detailed at time of pictures was dirty when we opened the doors. The salesman told us it was in perfect condition beyond the one body blemish he pointed out...I think people who sell their cars on side the hwy clean them up better. We went on to walk and look at a few other vehicles and there was a McDonald's bag in the back of one (I pray it was empty). This dealership takes no pride in themselves. Bought a new f250 lariat from Lamarque Ford in October of 2017. 70k purchase. 6months after purchase the check engine light came on and the truck was hard to start. Drove straight to Lamarque service center where I was told to leave the vehicle, but it would not be looked at for at lest 2 weeks. Service center manager was very rude. He stated that they were short handed on diesel techs. Brought the truck to Crescent Trucks, they said they would look at it as soon as possible. Got a call the next morning that the truck was ready for pickup. Fuel module was defective. Service after the sale is definitely not what I recieved from Lamarque. read more

Typical bait and switch dealership. Sales team was great back in February of 2014 because of the $60k+ they received from me. I knew better but bought an extended warranty from them. They recently had my truck for 15 days to change the water pump, replace the horn, and adjust my tailgate. I believe the job paid the tech right under 6 hours. By the way this is the first repair to the truck since purchase and I'm at 105k miles The repairs would've cost 35% of the actual warranty cost. Service manager Thomas told me after 7 days of having my truck that the tech had taken it back into the shop that day. That was a lie. Day 10-11 I called back and he said he "believed" the tech was still working on it. Tried calling on day 12 with no answer. Had a friend call on day 13 and he again said he "believed" the tech was still working on it. Thomas called me 10 minutes before close on Friday to tell me that the tech had just finished my truck and that I could pick it up at 0700 Saturday. Want to guess who was no where to be found? Thomas. I'll never give them another dollar from the experience I had. We're all grown here. It's not the fact they had my truck 15 days for a 6 hour job. It's the fact that Thomas lies. If he would just told me about the huge backlog and gave an actual time frame of when my truck would be worked on it would've been alright. Stay far away from all the service centers at these dealerships. If you look at the reviews for all of the Ford dealerships in the N.O metro area they're all the same song. My new 2016 Ford Escape has started shaking and shutting down while driving. It's scary and dangerous. I've had to roll off of busy streets across traffic before it came to a complete stop. Turn it off and wait a while before turning it back on. I've called Larmarque and left messages because the service department is not available. I'm scared to drive it and was told by the operator that I would have to leave it, in Kenner, if I just show up without an appointment. Holiday week, I'm suppose to be driving, and working, but I'm scared to get this thing on the road. I already brought it back once for a bad brake light (not expected in the first 5 months).
