We wanted to try a new place for pizza nearby. We ordered the margherita pizza for pickup. We got there and it was it was just coming out of the oven. We aren't that far away and served it as soon as we got home. For some reason it was already cold. We ate it as is but the crust was soft and lukewarm and the cheese wasn't melty. This pizza was delicious. Their sauce and cheese is authentic flavor. The crust is right on with a crispy bite but not blacken like so many others do. The mushrooms had an added flavor that just highlights the pizza if you like mushrooms. They are fresh mushrooms and not canned like many other places use. This was an order on line and I got there earlier than expected but no problem their seating areas are very comfortable and clean. If you're in the area stop in and enjoy their food. TWO SLICE LUNCH REVIEW Independence Plaza on South Broad Street, Hamilton, has been a difficult place to attract customers since its development thirty years ago. But, there is a new pizza joint down there now that provides reason for renewed optimism. LaLucci Pizza has been open a few months. I stopped in last week for a two slice and a soft drink (water) lunch. Like most pizza parlor these days, it has several prebaked pies on display for consideration and a grill for hot sandwiches. As a first timer, I wanted to try a basic slice and something higher end for comparison. There was a good looking Margherita sitting up front and a regular pie on the counter, both with a few triangles missing. I asked for one of each, and mentioned that I like my reheats well done. The store manager brought them to me a few minutes later, steam still wafting off the Vulcan surface. They were a nice size. I sprinkled crushed hot pepper flakes on them and went to work. First bite brought a crunchy report from the firm undercarriage. Very nice! No droop. Slightly salty taste to the sauce and cheese. The regular slice was leaking oil onto the paper plate, but not enough to require a demerit. The red, white and green margherita had the same hard edge crust and the pleasant flavor of fresh basil enhancing the chunky tomato gravy. Both were better than the average reheat jobs for the area, and deserving recognition. Happy to oblige with 4 big ones! read more

Fantastic pizza! I ordered online and it was quick and easy. I couldn't believe how generous they are with the toppings--so much you can barely see the pie underneath, which is just how I like it. A great tomato sauce full of flavor underneath everything. We'll be back! read more

Worked in Manhattans and it seems like the pizzerias that were around in the 70's and 80's have almost all disappeared. Stopped in for a slice of pepperoni. Brought back some wonderful memories. Thin crispy crust, delicious sauce and hot stringing cheese (like what you see on TV commercials). The best pizza plus the slice was so big I thought I would need a doggy bag. WOW!!! Is all I can say. Don't let the fact that its in a strip mall fool you. The food is great! We had meat stuffed pizza it was fantastic!!! Best I've ever had. The sauce tasted homemade the meat was unbelievable! The crust was perfect! My husband had the Bolognese and it tasted homemade. Today was the second time I got pizza from LaLucci and it's amazing!!!! I used the Slice app and my order was perfect and ready to go when I got there. I requested a thin crispy crust and that's exactly what I got! As I said this was the second time I've come here and it's been perfect twice. What a wonderful dinner! My family and I took a chance on this new pizza/Italian restaurant and we're very impressed. The inside looks brand new and was modern, clean and comfortable. A young girl behind the counter greeted us and we had our choice of tables. I started asking about the menu and was informed over and over again "yes, it's homemade!" We tried the pasta Fagioli soup which was hearty and flavorful. The Caesar salad with homemade dressing was crisp, zesty, and BIG. Intrigued, we tried the Rice Ball and I was in awe. A full-size arancini filled with gooey mozzarella, rice, ground beef and peas for around $3!! By the time our entree came, which my girlfriend and I were sharing, we were already sold on the place. A beautifully plated dish came out with the blackened chicken Alfredo. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor from the seasoning which was just right. After dinner, the chef/owner Tarek came out to thank us. He told us we had to come back for lunch, that his pizza features the best quality mozzarella he could get his hands on. He told us how he sources the strip steak for his cheesesteaks from butchers, saying "it's worth paying more for quality, people notice it." Well Chef Tarek, we couldn't agree more. Pizza was okay, most of the ingredients come from "restaurant depot" anyways and so pizza at all these mom and pop shops taste the same (In fact their menus look the same too) Sandwich was very oily. May visit once every 6 months to a year. read more

The food here is really good and you get a decent amount. The pizza by the slice is a 1/6 of a pie instead of it being 1/8. Both slices came out crispy and fresh along with the fries. Definitely would recommend this place. read more

This is my favorite pizza place, I don't live close but we make a point of stopping there anytime we are heading remotely close to Trenton/Hamilton area. Not only is it clean & pretty inside (as far as pizza places go) but the owner & his family are so sweet & accommodating. But more importantly, the food is just out of this world . Everything is fresh & homemade. I LOVE their roasted veggie primavera pizza, hands down, the best pizza I've ever had. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! I don't know if they serve it all the time but they should. Their wings & rice balls are delicious, everything we've had so far has been great! I just can't say enough about the place, again, the owner & his family (wife & kiddos) are like my favorite people! We need more small businesses like this one. read more

I ordered from this place a plenty of times for delivery and the food was pretty good. The last three or four times I ordered from here for delivery, the sandwiches were prepared a little on the sloppy side. They use to take pride in the presentation, how it was prepared. Also, the restaurant doesn't make their delivery driver wear a mask, especially with this covid, they should make the drivers wear it as well. Sometimes a female would deliver it and she wears a mask, but not the male driver. Every establishment I've ordered food from for pickup or delivery and they all wore a mask. It's just out respect and to protect the customers and well as the drivers themselves. So, unfortunately I can't order delivery from them again. On my way home from a day out and felt like a pizza. Placed an order for pickup and decided to give them a shot. What a great idea! Restaurant was extremely clean and staff super friendly! My pizza was extremely inexpensive, ordered a large with extra cheese, sausage and pepperoni and it was less than 20.00 and they sent me home with plates and napkons! Stopped in for a quick lunch with wife and kids. We weren't expecting too much, but were pleasantly surprised. We ordered pizza slices, cheesesteak sandwiches, fries, and a rice ball.
