The nasty meat or blood clot that I removed from the ice cream with a baby whip

Never again am I gonna buy from here again. First of all my girlfriends ice cream came with some nasty meet looking thing and I know it's not from the ice cream only because I looked at their ice cream to confirm if I was wrong or not and it was not at all part of their ice cream they serve. So the service was pathetic only because they returned part of the amount of a drink and the ice cream. I'm only saying they should've gave me all of the money back because who knows what was in my drink if theirs nasty looking things when there in the ice cream. The Ambiance was humid inside and feels hot but other then the air conditioning in their they were not rude or anything. Just needs work on customer service.

Here are few key points: * Each year, the shop closes for the entire month of January for its annual winter break and the shop also occasionally closes on random dates, so check their Instagram page to make sure the shop is open on the day of your visit. * No samples! * $0.75 of every ice cream sold is donated to Community Loving (mutual aid organization that serves unhoused & low-income families & youth in the South Bay with the essential resources they need & deserve). * Each year, Kansha Creamery hosts a kids' flavor contest and turns those flavors into reality & ultimately features on Kansha's menu. * Their ice cream is made with Straus Family Creamery products. * Their pints are made without the use of gums or preservatives which causes them to freeze harder than store-bought ice cream, so place those pints in the fridge for 10-30 minutes before indulging. * Some flavors like black sesame are seasonal, but popular flavors like Mr. Universal and Matcha (both excellent) are available year-round. Two big thumbs up for their ice cream.

Parking was a bit confusing - there's a lot of electric vehicle parking (which should have but did not think to use), but found regular parking further out. We wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but once the party after us got theirs, we noticed that the cashier came back to the register ready to take another order so I went up and told her that we were still waiting on ours scoops and she said "oh i forgot " Not sure how she could forget when we were first to order with no one ahead of us... Seems like this staff needs more customer service and ice cream training.

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream - Redondo Beach…read more Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this place, it's one of my favorites. I especially love the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, which is always delicious. One of the reasons I prefer this Redondo Beach location is their generous portions. They also allow you to choose two different flavors on a sugar cone, which some other locations (like Glendale) do not allow, they require the same flavor. That flexibility definitely makes a difference. Parking is plentiful, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is nice since you're enjoying your ice cream outdoors. Overall, it's a great spot, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The employee refused to accommodate a simple request, then accused me of having an attitude and closed the service window in my face. When I asked for a manager, another employee came out and said they supported the coworker and also refused to serve me. I was eventually served only after being told to "not have an attitude." I only completed the purchase because I had promised my kids ice cream, but the overall experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, and felt discriminatory. I would not recommend this place, especially for families.

One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. It's a quirky specialty shop, but a fun one to browse. And judging by the number of snowstorms coming out of the kitchen, that's clearly the move here.

Hisaya Kyoto specializes in all things chestnuts, including soft serve chestnuts, and chestnut baked goodies. I came on a hot day and got their vanilla and chestnut soft serve on a cone. I also got one of their chestnut cakes. The ice cream was very creamy and definitely a good treat after my lunch. The small cake was not too sweet and light. It had some sweetened chestnuts inside which was really nice. It came out hot and went well with the ice cream. They also have cookies, donuts, and a variety of ice creams as well. They also have drinks like their chestnut milk too. For soft serve they have their fuji soft serves which comes with toppings. I want to come back to try their other items. The people behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and out items took awhile. The inside is small and casual and not really anywhere to sit. But they do have seating outside. There is plenty of parking since it is on a strip mall.

I am sure, dear reader, that you are aware that some people pronounce the word data like data, and…read morenot like data. this same concept is true when we consider the business name of Handel's. I thought it was pronounced Handel's like a last name should be, but a security guard, who I asked for directions to get to this place, called it Handel's like one calls the things one grips in bikes. Which is the correct way of saying it? I leave that up to you dear reader, as well as what ice cream flavor you want, and whether you want this ice cream in a cone or bowl, or made into a milkshake. However you take your ice cream I will say that you will likely enjoy it more in the resting place that Manhattan beach offers. As my pictures show, I took my ice cream (which was in a waffle cone, witha chocolate rim, decorated with peanuts for some extra light crunch) and I enjoyed it in a bonfire that I did not have to light. In the background, the Nice to Meet you song by Miles Smith gently wafting in the background. The gentle breeze, the notes around, the taste of damn good ice cream, all conspired to help me feel relaxed in place and mood. Thus, if one wants Handel's and also a place to sit that feels right for ice cream, the Manhattan Village one offers all that, at least it did for me. This Handel's is not a walk-in brick location. it is a window. The person who helped us out on this day was Jasmine, and of course her service was princess like. For instance, she showed me the difference between milkshake sizes and the difference between them is significant to the point where a large one can serve two. View the pictures and I invite you to disagree, if one can. Their ice cream selection is lengthy, and creative, and considerate--- they have sugar free and vegan options. So they have a large and ample array of flavors that will satisfy most if not all sweet tooths. I wanted to take the time to celebrate this Handel's for its location because the environment created the ice cream experience. So it was not the cherry on the top, it was the cone, that supported the ice cream.

The Blueberry Yogurt one really tasted like eating a cup of blueberry yogurt. The dollop of yogurt was nice and the blueberries were plump and fresh. The Hojicha one also had great flavor. I liked the nutiness of it. The cereal, dalgona, and red bean also added good flavors and textures. I like how the flavorings were embedded in layers throughout the bingsoo.
