Had the time today to finally stop in. Glad I dont judge a book by its cover bc there's nothing…read morespectacular on the outside nor the location that would make you want to step inside. The staff was super nice and attentive (s/o to Rachel D). Explained the menu well. Also let me know abt the free membership to get discounts. The seating area is set up like a communal area. There is also a bar, tables and outdoor seating. I sat at the bar and watched them make drinks and premium coffee with a nice fancy machine. The dish I had was good. Eggs poached perfectly. I had a side of grits, a lil too creamy for me. I like my grits with grit. Besides needing a lil salt and a lil hot sauce, the food tastes great and is presented on the plate well. Decent prices for decent portions.

I wanted to like Turning Point in Boynton Beach, but unfortunately the experience was…read moredisappointing. The biggest issue was the wait time for everything. Not just for a table, but once seated the service moved extremely slowly -- it felt like we were waiting forever for drinks, food, and even basic check-ins from the staff. When the food finally arrived, it was just okay at best, but what really ruined it was the avocado that was served with my meal. It was clearly bad and overripe, something that should never make it onto a plate in a restaurant. I've attached photos because it speaks for itself. Because of that, I didn't even eat my meal. When you're paying restaurant prices, you expect at least fresh ingredients and reasonable service timing. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the expectations at all. With the long waits and poor food quality, it's hard to justify coming back.

We haven't been to First Watch in a while since our previous visit was just fair. We had a much…read morebetter experience this time as we discovered items we thoroughly enjoyed. First Watch continues to update their menu regularly with seasonal items. For example, they are currently featuring strawberry tres leches French toast, which looks scrumptious. We opted for entrees from the regular menu. I had the breakfast tacos, which included eggs, chicken, chorizo, avocado, pico de gallo, cheese and a side of spicy black beans. It was an interesting taste combo and surprisingly delicious! The taco shells were soft rather than crunch, so they were more like wraps, which helped keep the contents inside and made them easier to eat. My husband had the chickichanga, which was actually similar to the tacos in terms of the contents, but came in a flour tortilla wrap with a cheese sauce on top. It was accompanied by a small fruit cup and home fries. The seasoning on the potatoes was unusual and a bit unpleasant. Next time, he'll request a different side dish. The portion sizes of both of our dishes were large and quite filling. Our server was very nice and stopped by a few times to ensure we had everything we needed.

I ordered the salmon benedict and it was sub par. The bread ( not sure if it was a bisquit or muffin) was tough and cold. The egg was solid through out and cold as well. My boys got the pumpkin pancake and theirs was very good and they ate the whole thing. This will not be my last visit and I know we all have off days and I hope that was just the case for today.
