We stopped for breakfast on a Saturday morning and found a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is huge and is bright and clean. We were quickly seated and a friendly server came and took our drink order. The menu is extensive and everything looked great. I settled on chocolate chip Belgium waffles and a side of bacon. Within 5 minutes our food arrived and it was hot. My chocolate chips were melting perfectly and my bacon was thin and crispy. I'm not really a breakfast person, but this was excellent. Atmosphere - Nice. The restaurant is bright and clean. There must be at least 30 four tops and booths. We we greeted warmly when we arrived. Service - Very good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The Manager also stopped by to check on us. He also kept busy by helping the staff. Food - Good. I ordered a Western Omelette with home fries and an English Muffin. Everything was served promptly and hot. The omelette was a bit on the thin side considering it was listed as a 3 egg omelette. The home fries were good as well. Overall - The menu was extensive and the prices are reasonable. There is nothing outstanding about the meal, but the variety offered and the service set this restaurant apart from most. read more

This seems to be a little hometown spot. If you want a good meal for a good price, this is a place to stop. Our waitress was great, super sweet and got to us right away. The food is delicious, and comes out quickly. We went with breakfast, and the potatoes were wonderful and the portions were great. Very large space inside to accommodate a lot of customers. Wow! So we are on a roadtrip and was looking for a good mom and pop country diner for my hungry family and decided to stop at Lakeside Grill for a bite to eat. There was a bit of a wait but they were able to accommodate a party of 4 in about 15 minutes. It looked like the entire town was here after church. This is a good sign, we thought. The location is quite large and spread out. We weee not on top of each other. I really liked the layout. Our server, Alicia was absolutely amazing! Very attentive and very pleasant! The service was A-1! Now the food...I had the healthy omelet platter which was super fresh and delicious! The kids and hubby had the blueberry pancakes that were also amazing! Stopped by here for a quick lunch with friends. Place is conveniently located and has easy parking access. This place came up when I searched for a Greek Food. Not sure I would call it a Greek Restaurant. It is more like a Big Dinner.... it is a good thing. 1) Place was clean and welcoming. We were quickly sat down and tended to. 2) Waitress and very friendly and very attentive. They have big menu with a variety breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, and other choices. 3) Sweet Tea was okay. I would prefer it a big stronger and a bit sweeter. Lemons chicken soup was good. Gyro was okay. Salad was big and delicious. Overall we liked our food and would return. I recommend you give them a try and judge for yourselves. We will be retuning soon for more good meals to try. read more

My favorite restaurant in city of Okeechobee has close down. Look yelp for help and this restaurant came out. The day we went there the phone line is down and they told us they can accept cash only before they seat us. I check my wallet and we have some dinero, let's eat. This place interior seem like similar to Shoney's furniture set up. We have ordered the fried shrimps, grilled shrimp and the philly cheese steak. This location is dead center of Florida and minimum 2.5 hours away from the coast line. However, I have good jumpy shrimp. They do grilled it to the right amount of burn. I like it that way. I would recommend this restaurant if you stop by the city. It do not give me a wow factor but it has good ingredients and materials. Can ask more for the freshness. The service is great and friendly. This is one of my all time favorite places for breakfast whenever I'm in Okeechobee. Not a bad meal to be served here. My all time favorite (if I'm eating breakfast) is the Greek omlette with gyro meat and a side of tzatziki sauce. Try it you'll be back for more. read more

This is the only establishment within 40 miles that you can order a gyro! This is not the most authentic greek food I have ever tasted but it does match my craving when it develops. Host of local community organizational meetings, it's hard to say a true Okeechobean has never ate here. The ambiance is true to every restaurant that has been there,m. Won't be back. Just had lunch here, Selim was the waiter. Seemed like a nice young man, but had a hearing issue! I ordered a Hamburger with lettuce and mayo only and fries. I also told him that I wanted a Blueberry muffin to go (had them in a display case by the hostess stand). Hamburger came out with only lettuce and a stale bun. He was gone before I noticed that there was no mayo. He totally forgot the muffin, and I was disapointed with the burger, so I decided not to bring it up. First time eating their and it was not good quality. Didn't taste good and you could tell by the way it looked it was going to be bad. It was. I had breakfast. Pancakes were okay, eggs were eatable but not good enough to finish and the ham was disgusting. Even the water tasted gross. We were out shopping at Elis western wear. Great store Went for a late lunch at Lakeside grill . My wife had the chicken kabobs and said they were incredibly tasty ! We are so impressed with this restaurant we really urge you to stop and dine. Tita M. is right that the restaurant is pretty inside, very clean and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and attentive. It was busy at lunchtime on a Saturday but the food came out quickly nonetheless. And what GREAT food it was!!! They make really fresh food and it has a homemade flavor --- they bake their own breads and desserts. I had the Reuben and coleslaw and it was as good as it gets. Delicious. My lady had the Greek salad with chicken and it was spectacularly fresh. She said it was the best she has ever had! See the picture I posted. They warmed up the cherry pie for us and topped it with whipped cream, and we loved every bite - all I can say is "you better move over Grandma you'got competition now!" Their food is always on point! This is a very well run restaurant from the front to back of house. The food is always good. One of the best breakfast and lunch in Okee, they don't serve dinner(wish they would) Soups, well let me say ALL are awesome! You can't go wrong with a great soup and sandwich. We eat here alot, the Spinach pie with Greek salad is my ultimate favorite. For breakfast they have the best Blueberry Pancakes but their Banana, Nut and Carmel French Toast is my fav breakfast. Also worth mentioning is the Florida Waffle and Okee Oatmeal (masterpieces loaded with fresh strawberries and bananas) it's alot of food, so come here hungry. The food and waitress personalities are as bland as plain white bread. Kinda nice you can order breakfast all day long, but also a blessing because there isn't much of a lunch menu. We came here because the parking lot is always full and the reviews seemed pretty good. Maybe adding some unique specials would liven up this menu and add some flair? Might go back for breakfast sometime because the portions were good, but the food wasn't anything amazing that I couldn't just whip up at home. read more

Delicious and fresh meals! The chicken kabobs were fabulous with tender juicy chicken grilled to perfection! Salad was crisp and had kalamata olives and feta cheese.
