There is an automatic 8% cancellation fee that applies to canceling or amending any tee times no matter what the change is. Additionally I prepaid for my cart, which they charge $20-$25 for. When I showed up for my tee time because I wanted to walk, they told me tough luck, wouldn't refund me or let me spend the $20 in the pro shop. They also have a credit card fee in the pro shop for using one. I feel like they nickel and dime as much as they can. Fun course but they need need new management.

I was particularly impressed with the turf quality and the bunkers--the sand is pristine, clean, and has that rare, powder-like consistency. Even the carts are geared for a serious round, fully equipped with club cleaners, divot fillers, and ample rack space. A challenging, elite-tier experience.

In my experience today I've met a great group of pros in the shop, an enthusiastic crew in the cafe, and this very engaging beverage server named Coco who everyone in our group of eight had great things to say about what a great job she does helping golfers quench their thirsts. Great hires all around Eaglewood. The carts are clean and very comfortable. Padded seats, faux leather and GPS! Double edged sword though... if you get behind the GPS will let you know and if the delay persists the marshal will visit but these guys were very congenial and patient. Our foursome was delayed by the group in front of us. It appeared we were the bottleneck but when they saw we were long and strong off the tee the marshal left us alone. The facilities also have wedding banquets. They were prepping chicken quarters and mixed fresh vegetables that I thought was an offering on the menu. I was super impressed but Becky, the amazing young lady in the cafe, spilled the beans and clarified they were prepping for a wedding. Looked really good! The fairways are tight with trees and brush or very nice homes on either or both sides. Beware the mountain course influences the greens slope. It may look flat and straight but will roll the direction of the mountain slope. The conditions of the fairways and greens were very green. I wish more people repaired their divots and green but you can't have it all. I think you can tell our group had a great time and enjoyed the course, facilities and the people . If you're looking for a challenging round of golf, this is a course you will like.

There technical support doesn't have the best follow through and can rarely ever tell you what the…read moreissue is on the first call. Our machine has worked a total of 6 times in 5 years. This is not good for a piece of equipment that cost so much and is one of the staple pieces and highlights of our community. It sucks that no one ever gets to use it. We've done thousands of dollars in upgrades that were said to fix our problems but yet the machine remains inoperable. Do not spend your money here there are so many other better options.

The staff throughout the facility were incredibly friendly and welcoming. While we didn't order anything from the food court, we noticed they had a nice selection of cheeseburgers, snacks, and cold drinks. The employee working there was so kind-she overheard us talking about ice and was more than happy to help us out. It was a fantastic experience all around, and I highly recommend this course!

My husband and his parents golf here all the time (with me driving the cart for my husband). I've…read morenoticed that over the past few years that they went from loving the course to becoming extremely stressed the last year or two when playing there. The course is always backed up with the Marshall checking in even though there's a group of four walkers in front of us. This last time, today, was especially bad. We played 18 holes; the first nine holes were understandably (seeing it's Memorial Day) completely backed up. We had a group of four women, playing from the yellow tees, right behind us. We expected the course to play pretty slow, but it ended up being slower than expected. All the while, this group was very close behind us. My husband and his father had both been doing really well from the blues, so they wanted to try the blacks. And my mother in law has always gone from the greys. However, the women behind us (going from yellow) were right behind my mother in law's drive from the grey, almost hitting us every hole. We played 18 holes and on the 15th, an older woman who claimed that she worked at Valley View, came up to us on her cart. She said she worked there and that "they've been behind us the whole time since hole one". When we explained that we were behind a group on the first nine and had no choice, plus we stopped at the grill on hole ten (which they did too) she urged us to move along, making it so all of us were stressed and distracted so much so that some of us didn't even finish the game. The last few times at this course have been unpleasant, and if a person who works there treats us like how she did this last instance, it's not worth going to again.

Even better, the Lake course is walkable, unlike the mountainous terrain of Soldier Hollow or most other courses near mountains in the SLC valley area. I'd recommend a cart for the Mountain course, as it goes up the canyon a bit and is a bit more hilly, but you could walk it if you're up for some exercise. Golf aside, the area this course is in is beautiful. Come between mid-August and mid-September to see all the trees change colors on the mountain--it is absolutely gorgeous. Wasatch is a gem! 10/10, would recommend.

We didn't realize until we got there this morning that the rate was going to be $90 a person. The senior rate for Utah residents is $57 (we are seniors.) The Non-Senior Utah rate is only $67. We have already played the absolutely stunning Moab course in Central Utah. The price is $75 for all golfers (including a cart.) Save your money and head a little South for stunning course that wants your business!
