The head pro was working the pro shop and said he'd do whatever he could to get me on. He felt bad so gave me a free bucket of balls and then free bag of tees once he got me on. He accidentally told me the wrong tee time so sprinted out to tee 1 to let me know and apologized profusely. Truly a word class human. I also realized on the 2nd hole I had forgotten my sand wedge on the practice green and the course attendant drove all the way back to find it and being it to me. The course is immaculately maintained for a public course and isn't too expensive. It plays reasonably challengingly with a decent amount of water and some tough greens/pin placements but fairways are reasonably wide and forgiving. Fantastic views of the mountains abound!

Even better, the Lake course is walkable, unlike the mountainous terrain of Soldier Hollow or most other courses near mountains in the SLC valley area. I'd recommend a cart for the Mountain course, as it goes up the canyon a bit and is a bit more hilly, but you could walk it if you're up for some exercise. Golf aside, the area this course is in is beautiful. Come between mid-August and mid-September to see all the trees change colors on the mountain--it is absolutely gorgeous. Wasatch is a gem! 10/10, would recommend.

Save your money and head a little South for stunning course that wants your business!

Unfortunately the wind did not agree with that and blew the tent down about 20 minutes before the wedding was about to start. The staff went into super hero mode moving the entire wedding to the patio and the reception indoors. They kept their guests happy with the fully stocked bar and 5 tvs of football while we waited. The wedding turned out beautiful and if you had showed up late you would have no idea that it was supposed to be somewhere else (unless you went down to the course and saw the fallen tent lol). I had an amazing time and my friend looked beautiful and happy with her new husband and the sudden change of plans.

They advertise the great shuttle to go back forth from the ski mountains. They used to drop you off at your home at the end of the day. Now they only drop you off at the clubhouse and then you have to drive to your home. So what is the use of the shuttle. Services getting worse and costs going up. This sucks.
