Honestly, being a gf snob is tough work. I judged the gem because it has an executive course feel…read moreto me. I'd never even been here, except for today... today I took off the thin veil of thinking I won't get to use all my clubs... and I hit from the white tees with a 30 handicap. Where does this pretentiousness come from. Arrive and was blown away by its lushness and modern clubhouse, the cafe run by a most helpful lady named Virginia and a guy, older guru g the kitchen... makes a mean breakfast sandwich and his preferred English muffin. Glad I took his advice. Shoot, crunchy muffin...OH!!! They have 6 Eav chargers... chargepoint so download the app ...charging is FREE! I charged for 2 hours... FREE... The course is nicely laid out but think the dog right on 3 may want to be changed to a Par 5... just sayin'. Greens were smooth and rolled with little to no bumps.... It's spring so may need to come back in the summer but for now, par excellence. I'

Just a great way to spend an hour! You can easily play the par 3 course in that amount of time,…read moreeven with walking. The course is well maintained; however, they have got to figure out the greens. There is always more than one hole set, you walk up to the flag and there is another cup just ten feet away, as if they've forgotten to fill it in when they made the new hole. The signs are old and faded, but you can still make out the numbers (although most of the yardage is inaccurate) so just be prepared to eyeball most. There is usually some goose droppings you need to play around too, which add another challenging element to your game. Overall though, the pricing cannot be beat, $9/person or $15 if you want to play the regular course! And the views cannot be beat. They're also building a new clubhouse which is sure to add another element of flair. TIPS & TRICKS: * Their cake doughnuts are baller, grab a few of those to fill you while you play.

Like everyone else...the course itself is great! Challenging but also getable from most tee boxes…read more No issues on the course really at all besides there are ZERO signs/info at the tee boxes so we got confused a few times. Besides that, the amenities are ROUGH. People are super nice but besides the new "townhouse" units being built, the PRO SHOP is basically a single wide trailer, clothes just kind of all over, not very organized, basically zero cold weather resources (we went in mid Feb) & "CLUBHOUSE" is almost cool vintage vibes, old awards etc on walls, old patterned carpet & food though MASSIVE portions is bottom barrel quality, lastly the "CONDOS" are fine for a guys trip where it's hard to break anything of value...if you're wanting to play all day & then just drink/hang out - it's pretty great but arriving at night...no lights outside, no signage, door numbers are inside the complex so you don't know what you're doing lol and felt a bit sketchy aka didn't leave anything in our vehicles. CRAZY things is...add a little TLC to those 3 areas, get a decent website & social media...this place could be a top place to go on golf trips with buddies for sure. I hope they get there because I REALLY want to see this place back to it's glory & living in Dallas it's a perfect distance! 4 stars because I think they are working to get back there & the reason you go is the course & it's a GREAT track & still very well kept.

Each of us have been golfing for 3-4 years so it's not like we were beginners but we were an instant target for hate. I understand the flow of each group in golf and if someone needs to pick up the pace, there's a nice way to say that but the Marshall's yelled at us when it wasn't warranted. (Old Male and female Marshall) When we would Tee off, the group in front of us were putting. We were on track. Maybe they should space out their tee time instead of being a money grabber. We won't be returning and will be telling all our golf friends about our experience here. It's such a beautiful course but the employees are awful. We are nice people and are nice to everyone but won't take mistreatment. It felt targeted towards women, which is unfortunate.

What a fun spot to try something a little different with your friends other than go out to eat or…read moredrink. I don't think it was a Monday night special, we were able to play both mini golf courses for $8/person. Some of the holes were super challenging and I could see myself coming back again to try it. It seemed like they were actively working on some of the obstacles so, it will probably change and improve over time. This is a great low stakes outdoor activity for people that want to get a little sunshine with little effort. I only have 2 very minor complains. The first is that the food stand wasn't open when we went there around 2pm on a Monday, but no worries, there was lots of food in the area. We ended up getting food nearby and coming back to finish our game. There's tons of picnic tables around, so they're probably cool with people packing a picnic. We will probably just plan on doing that in the future. Also, when we first showed up, there were TONS of kids, which was a little annoying. They were climbing all over the features and they were impatient with the groups ahead of them on the course. When we came back from grabbing food, around 5, it was way quieter. So my advice if you want to avoid the kids is to come around dinner time or maybe first thing in the morning. We think we accidentally showed up when kids had just gotten let out of school. I could see this place being super busy on the weekends. We will totally come back when we're looking for a cheap activity with friends. They have lights all around, I could see this being a super cute little date night activity too!

Since it's still early in the season I can't say anything about the water features or evening lights, but we had lots of fun during the warm spring day.

Hello, fellow golfers. I'm 72 and a lifetime golfer at a fairly high level. After a layoff due to…read morehealth issues, I took up my beloved sport again, and I was terrible. Spraying the ball everywhere. I finally concluded I needed some lessons from a pro to get me back on track. I found that pro at Old Mill, and his name is Gavin Eckert. He is truly one of the best teachers of golf I have ever worked with. He has a very positive demeanor, and I immediately started hitting the ball better. I spent $300 for the four lesson package, and it has been worth every penny of it! I'm hitting every club crisply and my short game has dramatically improved. I did the old guy thing and invested almost 1K in a new Ping Driver and a Taylor Made mini driver. Now I can actually hit them. Gavin is a great listener, and I believe he patterned his lessons for me based on his understanding of how I processed information. Now, that is a real talent. I am so thankful I met him, and I would urge anyone who is struggling like I was or simply want to improve your game to engage Gavin Eckert as your professional golf coach. Best wishes my friends! This is a beautiful course set in the hillside of Little Cottonwood. I played here two years ago…read moreand not sure why I've not been back in that time. The views are breathtaking. With the Wastach range so close it's like we're playing in the Alps! The fairways are wide Amd in great shape. Don't think you will walk this course. The climb from 8 to 9 alone should discourage that thought. The clubhouse and cart staffs are great people and helpful. I don't want this place to get busy but if you choose Old Mill you're going to love it.
