As well note there are paid refreshments there like water, cold beers and snacks. And golf supplies like teas, balls ( I saw bags for like 5$ grab bags I think there were 10 balls in them that is not bad at all. The driving range they have is an open range with no digital ball counter the nice thing is you can enjoy the breeze. The open one with the counter has somewhat of a shelter with a computer to let you know how far you hit digitally. both are great The price for 75 balls was 10$ the best ten bucks I have spent in a while. They have other buckets too available. The green fees Monday to Thursday are 13$ plus $18 for a cart note there has to be 2 people per cart its first come first serve! See you out on the course.

The thing I appreciated was the simple and effective teaching points that Kyler provided me. I was able to see immediate improvement on my ball striking and ball flight. I don't play a ton of golf, but I want to play more now that I have some easy things to work on. It will definitely be a more enjoyable experience after having taken a lesson there. I also like the free app they provide that allows me to watch my lesson and to remember the things I need to do to improve. Definitely worth a visit.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have been out of the country for the last four years,…read moreand I have had this particular set of golf clubs that I am playing now for five years. My guess is that prices on quality golf equipment have skyrocketed since I've been gone, because the prices I saw when I went to Golf Galaxy were enough to put me into sticker shock. I will shop around before I make my final judgement about the prices, but let's just say I only bought one small item while I was there. I need a new putter, but the cheapest one they had was $149.00!!! Even though I was in India for those four years, my memories of golf stores revolve around the large Golfmith stores in Southern California. Perhaps I got used to those stores and the numerous employees they had walking around willing to help you in all departments, because the Golf Galaxy store seemed a little small, and a little sparse when it comes to stocking all of the goodies that go along with playing golf. I generally try to replace my golf clubs once every five years, so I was looking forward to checking out some of the new technological advances in the golf irons since I bought mine. However, I think it would be silly for me to spend that kind of money. In their defense, I did stand by and watch a golf club fitting session going on, and the professional golf club fitter sounded like he really knew his stuff. I know that we need professionals like him to get a proper fit, but it still seems to me that the prices can be beat by Golfsmith and other golf discount warehouses online. I have purchased enough golf equipment over the years to know the length, flex, and lie angle for any clubs I will buy so my need for a professional fitter has long past. Perhaps I am being a little too harsh because of the general high prices of golf equipment now, and I promise to shop around and review this review and perhaps add a fourth star before long. In the meantime, I sure miss Golfsmith and I wish they would decide to open a store in Salt Lake City.

Funny enough I had talked to one of the employees before that and he told me no questions asked you can exchange for the right product. So the Service is not good, the selection is mediocre (Compared to someone like PGA Tour Superstore or Scheels) and there is never any sales found in the store. According to the manager their return/exchange policy is garbage too. Save yourself the headache and go to Uinta Golf, PGA Tour Superstore, or Scheels and have fun with purchasing golf gear (As it should be). Instead of going in and being treated like absolute trash. Will never shop there again.

I'm a current Orangetheory member visiting from…read moreConnecticut, and I was in town to help move my daughter -- a medical student at the U and Division 1 athlete -- into her summer semester housing. While here, I wanted to share something I enjoy with her and thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce her to an OTF class. She has never been to OTF before, so this was supposed to be her one free class. As a note, I have never been to this particular location. When I called to reserve the class, I specifically asked that we be placed on treadmills next to each other at the START, as I always begin my workout there and find it significantly more effective for me. I clearly communicated this request to the person I spoke with by phone. Many years of counting calories in this class (for me) have shown the best workouts start on the treadmill. Unfortunately, when we arrived -- after getting up early and making the trip over on my day off -- we were told my daughter had instead been assigned to start on a rower. There were plenty of available treadmills, but the staff refused to accommodate the simple request to start us together. My daughter is a highly capable and athletic individual, and there was no practical reason for the refusal. As a result, we ended up leaving without taking the class. If it is their policy to start "new" people on the rowers then that should have been communicated to me when I asked us to start on the treadmills, together. To be candid, this was a very frustrating experience--particularly because it felt so easily avoidable. The front desk staff came across as dismissive, repeatedly saying, "I'm just doing my job," instead of making any real effort to resolve the issue. A simple question from the coach to my daughter, such as "Do you know how to row?" would have clarified everything and allowed us to move on with our day. Unfortunately, the interaction felt more like a power struggle than a customer service moment. When I asked if the studio manager was available, I was told, "She's out, I'm here today," by the front desk girl, which only added to the dismissiveness. To make matters worse, I was charged a late cancellation fee for the class to my account--adding insult to injury. I emailed the studio manager and (no surprise) have not received a response. What could have been a welcoming and positive first impression turned into a missed opportunity. As a result, she will not be joining, and I won't be recommending OTF to others anytime soon.
