They also ask you to use their AAA approved tow service. Do NOT Call this owner Tim for any assistance. After AAA first tow checked the battery, it was at 9percent. I filled the vehicle (with gas) up on Father's Day weekend, ran to the next store in town snd the vehicle would not turn over. Just a click click steady on the push start. Called Chevy dealers and ECE auto shop for quotes. All were very nice, but Tim, he's clever. He claims , with a laugh, we have the better deal, we will help, now I know why. He's a cheat, liar and a thief. He begs you to use his tow service, AAA approved and I oblige, thinking this guy is so nice with that hometown appreal. Car gets towed in by Tim's guy, with a full tank of gas , this past Friday before they close at 5pm July 17,2026. Today, Monday, July 20,2026, Tim calls around 2:30pm claiming the diagnostic test can't be done because the 9%battery life I brought it in with, won't take a charge. so he says, let's start with the battery. I say NO, we agreed on a diagnostic test at $129.00, nothing further. I call AAA and get my preferred company Leafs Towing to meet me at the shop to tow my vehicle. AAA meets me there. I pay Tiny Tim his $129.00. I get my keys and paperwork for payment. I get the car home and my windshield wipers won't stop running and the dashboad lights up, NO FUEL, the car is bleed dry on E. They stole my full tank of fuel and ripped me off with Tiny Tim's Fat Smile. Do not do service with these people ever and I will report you to AAA to lose your towing license. God Help You Tim and Your Bad Practice.

When I called to get more information from the dispatch, they refused to answer any questions, even saying "call someone who cares" when I asked for them to double check. This company has at least a couple numbers linked to "other" companies, but it goes to the same place. If you are just trying to get rid of an old car and don't care about the money or the customer service, this company can do that, just don't expect anything impressive.

I thought, nah, I will be alright, I can take it in tomorrow if it happens again. Fast forward another mile, I am pulled over calling roadside service because my car is now making a bizarre sound and shifting weird. I sort out everything with RA and they text me that Statewide is coming to get me and drop my car off at the dealer (yes, the one my dumb arse passed earlier). He showed up within 20 minutes, packed it up like a champ, had a lively conversation in the cab (again, saving me from a total tear fest - who needs car trouble), dropped it in the dealership parking lot like a champ (no scrapes, scratches, damage, just parked neatly like it never happened), and waited for me to fill out my key drop ticket. I have worked with a couple towing companies in the past, but the passion with which Statewide Towing showed for serving its customers tonight won them a spot in my favorites/contact list. I pray I never see Allen again under bad circumstances, but I am happy to know if I need Statewide Towing again, they will be there and ready to roll. Outstanding job!
